I grew up in a salon, my mom did hair and my aunt did nails. This means I'm used to free salon treatments, but not used to added services like massages, sea salt scrubs, etc. Jay did my pedicure and manicure and rocked it. My feet were in some dire need of help and appeared as if I had been climbing trees with them, and Jay made them look like I had lady toes again. I'm also particular on the length of my nails (I like them short) and he nailed it (no pun intended). I was hesitant to come here since I live in the city, but really glad I did. This is my favorite place to get my nails done, they are super affordable and amazing! I love the way they take a good long time on the massage part of the pedicure and manicure, it never feels rushed. Other people have complained about the lack of selection of colors, but I think 50 different shades of pink is just fine. Plus the large amount of other colors. I've never felt like they didn't have a color I wanted. They are also very clean and use new tools and usually gloves for the manicures and pedicures. I've been to a couple places where they just shove the utensils in some shady blue water. I would highly recommend! I drive 25 minutes to get my nails done here. Make an appointment, as the secret is out about how great they are, the harder and harder it is to just walk in. read more

The place is as good as it gets! Saw the website for their place, and since I live about 10 minutes away, I decided to make an appointment. Glad they were able to accommodate me for my first no-chip manicure for 5:30 the same day.. Feeling rushed because of traffic, I made it at 5:27 and they were ready for me. Score! The lady sat me down and started buffing my nails right away, I didn't really know what to expect, but she talked me thru the process and I had a really fun time talking to her. She was young and friendly. I'm not the normal girly girl, so when I get my nails done, it's a 2 or 3 times a year type of thing. I'm hard on my hands, I scrub my house with no gloves, and I use harsh chemicals.. I try to remember my rubber gloves, but I forget.. so I'm not girly at all.. I wanted to try the no-chip. I was impressed with the place. Clean, and fresh air, and no powder or nail "debris" flying around. The chandelier is cute, and the stations are impeccable. The warm lotion, hand massage, and hot towel were EXACTLY what I needed to relax. I really wanted a pedicure, but being budget saavy, I'm gonna wait for warmer weather. For now, I just do my toes on my own. And even though prices are a wee bit higher, I'm still willing to pay more for clean towels, not raggedy ones, a nice lengthy hand massage, and most important, a CLEAN environment. She applied the processes for the no-chip and boy was I IMPRESSED!! I could put my hands into my purse and my no-chip is still perfect. WHAT?!? The nail tech explained how to remove them on my own in case I was tired of them, and I was informed that they can do it for me, for a fee. No problem... I think I may have turned into a no-chip girly girl... My husband thinks they're sexy, and they've certainly boosted my self esteem... Looking forward to my next visit! read more

I just went to Nail Bliss for the first time today. It was wonderful! I had a pedicure and eyebrow wax with the same person. She listened when I asked her to avoid the one ingrown nail and worked around it beautifully. When the color I had chosen started to get a little thick in the bottle, she ran and looked for another one and ended up bringing back a slightly darker shade. She apologized, asked if I liked the new color, which I liked better than my original choice. She removed what she had done so far and we started over and she quickly caught up. I'll be back for sure. Comfy chairs, great exfoliating, followed by a massage. Beautiful! read more

I Would have to rate Nail Bliss a 4.5 I love the atmosphere people are great and the owner is super nice. Overall I like this place, I usually go to another salon, but when I don't feel like driving the 15 minutes I just drive the 2 minutes to Nail Bliss. I have had regular no-chip manicures and pedicures here. They have all been done beautifully! I give it a 4.5 becuase the last time I had a no-chip french I was really dissapointed. The white french line was too thick becuase of the nail polish (gelish) and too thin for my long nail. I had also asked the nail tech to please give me a subtle pink under nail polish and it was more of a neutral which just looked ok and not stunning. Besides that I am pretty impressed with Nail bliss and would go back in a heart beat. read more

Got my nails done a couple a weeks ago for an event and they still look great! I shouldn't be surprised since so much attention was given to my nails. Ahhh, this place is, well, bliss! A very clean salon, very professional as well (as in they speak English in front of the customers instead of their own language) and they do a great job! They were late opening the day my daughter and I went in. Other wise it's a great place. It was very clean and once everyone got to work it ran like a well oiled machine. My only complaints were their tardiness on opening and assuming the customer knew the routine of care. Everyone was really good there but I'd never been to a facility such as this. I didn't know I needed to pay for my nails prior to treatment so I wouldn't mess them up afterwards. There was some communication problems trying to explain that to me. Hence 4 stars instead of 5. They do such a great job that it is IMPERATIVE that you book an appointment. My nails have always come out smudge free and looking amazing. When I came they told me that they can make only SNS one color dip powder because they don't know how to make ombre. I should take it as a sign and cancel appointment but they said that they did dip powder nails before so i stayed. Girl who was doing my nails did not have idea what she was doing. She was nice and was trying to do her best but....I will never come back to this salon to do SNS dip powder nail . I did SNS dip powder nails in FL and I was very happy about service there but unfortunately I cannot say the same about bliss. I visited this salon for the first time today. I got a gel overlay on my natural nails. The nail tech was so friendly and explained what she was doing before she did it. She saw the nail color I picked out (light pink) and recommended I use the pink gel so I could achieve that color with out polish, I'm glad I went with it because it looks awesome! I didn't get a pedicure at this appointment but after seeing other clients and how much time they spend on doing your toes and feet, I will defiantly be getting one of those in the future! Nail bliss is the best, period. I have searched high and low and can't find a nail salon that compares. I now live in schaumburg which is over 20 mins away and still go to nail bliss. The salon is clean, the techs are friendly and precise, they stick to their appointments unlike many other places, the longest I've waited is 5 mins past appointment time. They have a huge selections of nail colors and each and every tech I've ever had has done a wonderful job. They also have a stamp card which is a great incentive, your 10th visit offers a free service! I highly recommend this salon, the two owners, husband and wife are there just about all day every day and are super friendly and helpful as well! read more

Best nail salon in the Chicago area and I have been to many. Sue is awesome, she runs a very clean and fun establishment. Chairs are new and comfy, huge selection of no chip polish as well as regular polish. Every tech is great, Sherry is my favorite, I always love the conversations we have about life, travel etc. the other patrons are regulars and nice to chat with too. Parking is next to Starbucks which is awesome. I give nail bliss five stars , keep up the great work Sue! If you live near Des Plaines check it out, if not, it's definitely worth the drive. Don't waste your money on a no-chip here. It peels off less than 3 days after you get it and their "matching sets" don't match. I called the salon to see if they can re do it since there were 3 peeled/chipped nails after 3 days and they said they could only do repairs. Ok. But two days after that another nail peeled off. No thanks. Otherwise I raved about their salon to everyone I knew. Now that they must have started using low quality polish I am going elsewhere. read more
