This Nail Place is better than most however; I really hate the fact that they speak in another language other than English in front of you it is very bothersome. They could clean their PEDI stations better as I believe this is not up to code! which concerns me for bacteria etc... The ambiance is very nice. If you happen to have a tech that is answering phones making appointments you are there like forever....as you get interrupted constantly. I never know why this is as they have a very nice lady working the front desk and very capable of answering phones etc...why not let her do her job! All in all this place is way better than most around the south side hands down. I wish they would run more coupons or specials as I would go back more often would also be nice if their website was more up to date and run more specials there as well not just for new customers. Lots of chairs for pedicures and plenty of stations for manicures. Sometimes the wait is long on high volume days. Seresa has been my favorite technician there. She is always pleasant and likes to hold a good conversation with her clients. Her manicures are always neat and my nails look great afterwards! Prices are decent there as well. I recently went to this place to get a pedicure and a fill in. The place was jammed packed with literally no place to sit while waiting to be serviced. Luckily the wait wasn't long but my time there wasn't enjoyable. My pedicure was rushed and my nail tech Le did a not so great job on my fill in. After SEVERAL attempts of me telling her 2 of my nails were lifting and needed to be replaced, she ignored it stating "No that's just your nail bed, it's weak" Long story short, due to the fact that she did not replace the nail nor glue it down BEFORE she did the fill moisture got trapped inside the acrylic resulting in fungus. This used to be my go-to nail salon; but as of recently they have much more of a focus on VOLUME rather than QUALITY. My last THREE gel manicures I had there began chipping within 48 hours (hindsight - why did I keep going back?) What used to be a comfortable, relaxing, personal manicure became a rushed, "this is what you're getting" situation. Super disappointing. I have been here twice and both times my nails were not done properly. The first time I went, I waited 45 minutes to begin my pedicure. I was seated immediately, but no one came to do my nails until 45 minutes later. No one offered me a drink or told me how much longer I would wait. When my technician finally came, she didn't talk to me and just hurried through my pedicure. It lasted maybe 25 minutes. I got a gel manicure next, which was very disappointing. It was a different person, and they also rushed my service. The polish wasn't applied nicely and started to peel off my nails after about a week. I decided to try this place a second time, hoping to have a better experience. I just got the gel manicure this time, and it was applied worse than the first visit! My polish has started to peel up off my nails less than a week later! This place is just not worth it. The gel polish is meant to last 2 weeks. Not just 6 days! read more

Expect a rude attitude from the front desk ladies. As to the time that they say the salon closes, NOT TRUE, they close beforehand so they will not attend you. I absolutely despise businesses that don't honor their work. Went in because my $50 dollar SNS nails I got last week started to crack about four days after I got them done but I've dealt with Gel cracking so I gave it a few days. Unfortunately they started to break really bad so I went to have them look at em and she said she would fix the broken one like all of them weren't badly cracked. So when I brought that up she wants to tell me that I need a fill in and I can pay for that instead of them offering me some type of discount or honoring their work. My nails nowhere near needed a fill in. Hell I just got em done. They advertise these SNS nails as lasting 3 to 4 weeks but then act as though you are trying to get over. I appreciate good business and have no issue paying or tipping for it. Unfortunately I thought I had found a really good nail salon but I was wrong. read more

Worst mani ever. Go in and have to tell the lady 3 times all I want is a nail trim and polish clear coat. She insists on gel and I keep saying no just clear polish. I sit down and she trims a little and I tell her I want them to have a round natural look. She refuses and leaves them square with sharp corners. Before I can even say a word, she squirts OIL and lotion on my arms and starts massaging (making the price go up for something I DIDN'T want) Now my arms feel disgusting and my spray tan has been wiped off! She continues to tell me why I NEED gel and not polish. Sue made me pay before I got my nails done and wanted me to tip her before she even painted..um NO! Clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I didn't have to wait at all. Got a full set of SNS nails. Rose did a great job and made sure I was satisfied the whole way through. Only critique is they did not have color options in the SNS so I ended up getting gel polish (trying to avoid the UV light with the SNS). I will try normal nail polish next time and see if it lasts. I came on Tuesday at about 3pm. It was not crowded at all and they got me in a chair immediately. Kelly was my nail tech and boy, can she give a good massage. The timer thing was a bit distracting, but I wasn't even really paying attention to it. Will definitely come back to see her. She's off Sunday's in case anyone wants to try her out. read more

Great nail salon! Went early Thursday morning there were already people getting service but walked in and was serviced right away. My nail tech was Kelly she was great. The only downfall was my seat did not work for my pedicure. If you go to there website there is a 10% coupon for first time guest however I forgot to use it. A couple years ago I was regular customer at Nail Blvd, until I found an amazing nail tech at another salon who sadly was on vacation this this last week. Needing my nails done, I went to nail Blvd on Sunday. By Tuesday I didn't have one nail that hadn't chipped or peeled completely off. I was shocked to have this experience and went in to have it redone. The staff was nice and helped me make an appointment to fix the problem. Unfortunately, the second gel manicure I got chipped and peeled off in a day. Each time I tipped the tech and the second time I even sprung for a glitter design. All in all I spend a couple of hours and $50.00 and have no polish on my nails. As nice as the staff was, no one wants to waste their time or money. I would not recommend this salon if you want a gel manicure to last. read more

This is my second review for this business. I've been seeing a lot of negative posts, and this is my go to salon for my wonderful gel pedicures (because they last longer) and acrylic nails. I have problem nails (they grow upward a bit) and "May", as well as "Long", are very skilled technicians. If you want nail art- I mean TRUE ART, "PL" is the most talented nail artist I've ever seen in person. His Instagram is crazy! If you've ever been dissatisfied in your services, NICELY SAY WHAT YOU'RE UNHAPPY ABOUT! Don't just bash them online after passively leaving. Give people a chance to fix it ! I never understood that tactic. There are quality- excuse me -MANY QUALITY workers in this place, and not every tech is right for you. It's trial and error. I've gone through it too. Try them again, and be vocal throughout your experience. Xo read more
