Awesome gel mani and pedi done by San!!! She was super friendly, chatted with me and took her time to make sure I was relaxed and comfortable! The gel nail polish lasted for 3 weeks, which is longer the usual for me, and I couldn't wait to get back into the Nail Blvd salon for them to take care of me again!! The prices were affordable, I didn't have to wait because they have so many workers and chairs, and I left feeling so relaxed. They have so many color options for you to choose from! I just came back from getting my nails done! I needed a full set and I always get gel nails. This was my first time here and I wasn't satisfied at all! I felt like I didn't belong there and the lady that did my nails had no personality and my nails look terrible, she didn't ask me how I liked them I told her they needed filed again and she did if that's what you want to call it and she never cleaned underneath my nails when she was done!! I have been here several times when trying different nail salons around the UNF area. This one has been the best. Very reasonably priced and friendly. I usually get a mani/pedi and it has always been done neatly and lasted weeks. I highly recommend making an appointment if you can because its been crowded when going on the weekend. read more

Not a big fan. Haven't been in a few years but thought I would try again. Had the same issues. Using rough file on my nails, missing and hitting my skin. Went in there to get facial waxing and it was the worst Ive ever had. The woman did not even tweeze my eyebrows after, barely put any calming cream on my lip and made no effort to remove any of the left over wax all over my face. She just wanted to be done as soon as possible, and when the waxing was over, proceeded to *ACTUALLY* laugh with another woman working about how red my skin got after the waxing. I went to nail Blvd on a Sunday with a friend,it was packed but we were seated pretty quickly to get pedicures. The pedicure was like any other basic pedicure, nothing spectacular. After the pedicure, I was immediately seated for a full set, but my friend had to wait at least 20 minutes for an available nail tech, since they were seating people that came in after us, before her. From there I can only speak on my own experience...by the time i was finished I wasn't satisfied with my nails, I got got coffin shaped nails with a matte finish which was an additional ten dollars. My nails weren't very coffiny shaped. You pay before you ever finish your nails btw. When my nail tech finished painting my nails she left me at the dryer and took on another client, when I looked at my nails I had white specks that settled and dried into the matte finish, I had to hunt someone down to redo the polish. Which took forever because he had to switch between me and his client. So when that was done, I was ready to go. Let's fast forward to 4 days later. I HATED my nails, they looked hideous. My friend hated her nails too, and the woman that did her nails charged her an extra $5 for length when her nails were an average length. We both had to get our nails redone after 4 days because they just looked ridiculous. So I have to give this place 1 star. I wouldn't ever recommend it to anyone. read more

I returned to this salon after I experienced a skin problem at a DIFFERENT salon I've gone to for the past year...so last year when I was at Nail Blvd., the air conditioning wasn't working and the chair arms were greasy. Same deal this year. The whole place could use a good cleaning, and none of their staff seems very happy - guess I wouldn't be too happy, either, working in the sticky heat. I had to take another shower as soon I returned home. And somebody's always sick in there, so they probably feel a lot worse in the heat. Even the glass on the windows looks grimy. The pedi wasn't that great, she didn't even clean underneath my nails, she never massaged my feet, and I got a half-hearted leg massage. It was a much cleaner, nicer, brighter place a while back but then something made the staff less happy and the whole atmosphere changed. That's when I left, after the tech to one side of me kept leaning over and talking to my tech and kept nodding her head as if she were talking bout me to him, not in English. That's considered rude, folks. I can no longer recommend this place. read more

It breaks my heart to write a bad review of this place because I used to love it but things have really gone downhill lately. I come here for basic gel manis, and the last few I've had were horrible: polish all over my fingers, nail techs who rush and cut huge chunks of my cuticle off, sloppy uneven shaped nails, just all around terrible. But I kept returning in the hopes that things would go back to the way they used to be, or that maybe I just had a few bad nail technicians. But today was the last straw. First, the girl doing my nails tried to use a dremel to remove my polish even after I told her they weren't acrylic. Then she was rushing and cut a big chunk out of my pinky, and when it started bleeding she just sprayed it with a dirty looking bottle of water. Very unsanitary. (She also kept dipping the cuticle trimmer in the bowl of water she had used to soak my fingers, which is a good way to spread infections.) Now my finger is red and swollen, and my nails look like garbage. I work in a hospital and I should've known better when I first saw her dipping the cuticle trimmers in that dirty water, so I guess this is partially my fault for not getting up and walking out right away. Btw, I signed up for yelp specifically so I could write this review. That's how bad my experience was. Anyhow TLDR: this place used to be good but now it's not, and I have serious concerns about sanitation. A drunk toddler could give you a better manicure. Don't go here. read more

I arrived for my 5:30 appointment at 5:15, for a gel manicure and pedicure, and did not get to leave until after 830, because the nail technician actually took that long. The woman at the front desk was extremely unpleasant and unfriendly. I was upfront on the phone when I booked the appointment, as well as when I sat down in the pedicure chair, about the fact that I did already have gel on my fingers and toes, and that I was more comfortable with them using the Dremel to remove it than I was waiting for it to be soaked and scraped off. The nail tech refused to do it the way I asked, argued with me, and scoffed when halfway through my pedicure, she realized that I had gel on my fingernails too. She also cut my big toe cuticle too far and made me jump in pain. She commented on the state of my toenails in a rude manner, did not give me a massage, and to top it off, my gel was chipping in a matter of a few days. I am wildly displeased with this place's quality of service and prices, and will continue to go to my usual nail salon, where I am not injured, treated like a leper, overcharged, and my nails never chip. TERRIBLE!!!!! I had both my daughters nails (hands and toes) done with gel polish on Saturday and by Monday, they were both starting to chip. Today, Thursday, one daughter's nail polish was completely off and the others was chipped and coming off both hands and toes. We went back to get them fixed today and it started off okay. Until they put my 11 year old with a VERY RUDE and MEAN nail tech. When my daughter came up the front to dry, she told me that the nail tech told her to STOP BEING LAZY and hold her hand correctly!!! I actually heard her tell her to dry her toes so they don't "mess up again", as if it was her fault that the polish came off her toes. When I asked her why she spoke to my daughter this way, all she could say was - I needed her to keep her hands still. The manager heard our entire conversation and all she could say was, I'm sure she was just joking with her! Neither her, nor the manager apologized to me or my daughter. I would never, ever step foot in this salon again. And like another comment here, my daughter's hands were a different color from her toes, when the polish came from the same "matching color" box.
