As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked to pick a color I asked if they carried a color (for my toes) and explained I was doing a pink and white set - acrylic. The woman told me "okay". Pia, did my pedicure very gently and asked me if I liked my shape. She corrected the streaky paint on my left toe but did not put the same amount of coats of paint on all toes. I get the impression because I was her last customer and she wanted to cut out ASAP behind her co-workers, I get that. As she was shaping my nails she asked me to pick out the powder and I explained, again, I wanted a pink and white set. At that point the employee sitting next to her, Karen(?), informed me they don't do that! They use white gel to make the french tip. It was too late in the game now for me to leave. Had I known upon being greeted I would have canceled. I told Pia the color pink I wanted but she didn't listen, just continued her conversation with Karen, so I ended up telling her three times the shade of Kiara Sky's pink. My nails are supposed to be almond shaped but they're not, they're round and instead of a french I have pink acrylic nails with a clear gel top coat. I'd recommend, going by the pictures, to see Sivorn for an almond shaped nail. See Pia for designs on your nails. Make an appointment a week before not a day. I like how close in proximity to Midlothian this shop is & how clean the establishment is. Each tool was taken out of a freshly sealed bag.
