This place is a super hole in the wall place in a very non descript tiny plaza. However, the owners were able to squeeze me in for a last minute walk in and I got a Mani Pedi and it was amazing! They spent so much time on me and gave me a great leg/arm/hand massage. Pedis are $40 and manis are $25 with an extra $5 for French tip. This is not the place to go if you're expecting massage chairs and drinks. They are passionate about doing a great job and making sure your nails look great! They said they need to move locations in October because their building is being turned into apartments so they're hoping to move down the street. I went here a couple of times and the service is always pretty good. The girls that work here are very nice, Rose is one of them. I have found that after you go for awhile (with all salons) they get "comfortable" with you staying as a customer. And then the quality of the work slowly goes downhill. I have had a bad cut one time during a pedicure and that worries me about infection... I don't feel that the level of sterilization is really up to snuff here, just what I have seen them do after a pedicure with the container... Because the gel is so damaging to your natural nails, I've decided to take a break and do them myself, and they look pretty good. I am a licensed aesthetician so I'm lucky I can shop at the beauty supply stores and get all the great polishes and products at a good discount. Gee, I wish Yelp had Ten Stars. I have had many wonderful nail ladies over my fifty years of nails, BUT no one as thorough as Rose. That is a true statement. Put a set on me, I didn't tell her what length, she just knew what would look good on my hands. Polish is perfect, shop is clean, bathroom spotless. Needed to get my gel mani removed, and the place I got them from were busy at the time. Stopped by here, and was surprised how small it was. Did not notice the usual pedicure massage chairs, but someone was just finishing up with a foot massage. She seemed to be a regular, and helped with the communication between me and the worker. This place is amazing. It's cozy and they have about three people working there, but they are all amazing and detail oriented. Very professional and I have never received the most amazing 10 minute hand massage on each hand after my gel manicure. The pedicure is just as great. Not only did they give the most amazing massage with my nails look awesome afterwards and I never have to worry about gel cracking. The only time that I ever have to go back it's because my nails grow out other than that they still look amazing weeks later. I have been getting my nails done by Rose for 16 years. In that sixteen years, I can't remember ever having a nail break or chip; they stay perfect for the two or three weeks between appointments. First of all, Tony and/or Rose have always been accommodating when I call to make an appointment. This is a place where making an appointment means something. If you make an appointment, you can be guaranteed to be taken in right away. Rose does my French gel manicure and is meticulous. She takes her time and they come out perfect every time. When I go, I also get a pedicure. Helen and Tony have both done my pedicures although Helen usually does them for me. Helen spends lots and lots of time on your pedicure and give extended massages to both legs and feet. Helen will also make sure that my polish looks perfect. They have a fabulous selection of nail colors and plenty of magazines to read. I always enjoy coming here. Rose, Tony and Helen are so friendly, receptive and remember you by name. Sad to say, but I have to update this with a different opinion. I went back two weeks later for a fill expecting the same amazing experience I had the first time. Unfortunately, this was much different. My nails ended up much thicker this time, the ladies seemed rushed, and they didn't allow enough time for the gel to set before wiping them down with alcohol. Which led to a few smudges that I didn't notice until I got home. Went back the next day, and with hesitation they were corrected. I was told that if I want my nails to be shinier, they need to use a different gel. I was never given an option for a gel in the first place! This sounds like an excuse for a half-a** job. I really hate when places of business don't take responsibility for their mistakes, and make the client feel guilty for pointing out an imperfection. I have been going to this place for over 12 years. The pedicures are awesome. They are very detailed and spend a lot of time on you. I just started getting manicures about 6 months ago. I am a horrible nail biter and wanted to stop. Rose put tips then acrylic over and after a few months the tips were gone and now she does my nails with gel polish. She'll do them to your liking, and for me, it was thin and as natural looking as possible with a French tip finish.
