Literally, the worst pedicure experience I have ever had. They were barely service oriented. We asked for pedicures and they just told us to walk to the back. Like, you don't want to show us to our seats where you'd like us. I had regular polish on my toes and they wanted to use a grinder to get it off. I really don't like grinders being used on my nails, so I asked her to use acetone. They fought me on it, the tech doing my pedicure and the one doing my sister's. Then when I kept protesting they finally used the acetone and it took about 2 minutes to get the polish off, and then it was extremely awkward the whole time. The pedicure I chose was supposed to have lots of add ons and a massage, the add ons were just done super effortlessly and I didn't even get a massage. They didn't try to get the dead skin off my feet or push back my cuticles. I'm literally not sure what she did othe The worst part about it is the polish I left with. I am usually not that person, but I have to say for the money and the cheap products that they use ,nails chipped ,peeled and broke , usually when you get gel nails, they hold up pretty good. very unhappy just goes to show you haven't found a good nail place in Myrlte beach yet. I guess they think we're all cheap people and highline prices. It was definitely big lots compared to Saks fifth Avenue. and FYI, when someone says oval that doesn't mean square, and you're knowing that they're talking about you when they speak very uncomfortable, I really hope that you hold onto the customers that you have because they really don't know better, but you are really overcharging for that offbrand products. And they could give me 10 free pedicures and manicures unless the product changes it would not be worth my time or my money. The woman barely walked up and said "those are white" I was respectful when I opened my mouth until she tried to argue with me on what my mother WANTED & then on top of that she didn't take her time on the French nails bc them mfers was crooked & we had to ask her to fix it & she was in the rush to wax someone eyebrows which is these ppl below Lastly the "loyal" customers she had in the store that sat behind my ma was racist asf. I've been coming here for a few months and have never been 100% happy with my nails but this last time really pushed me over the edge. It's not cheap so I do expect to be happy with my nails and I always find that ones crooked, there's spots missing or the end of the nail isn't painted. This time they charged me more for a cuticle cleaning? And ended up just leaving my fingers all cut up. I also said multiple times I didn't want a design on my nails and they kept pushing and pushing till I finally said "okay fine but if I don't like it can you take it off?" My husband and I were on vacation in Myrtle Beach South Carolina and we decided to get our feet done that this nail salon. When we walked in it looked like a very luxurious spa setting and when we got our pedicures done the experience was quite amazing. My husband had his feet done by Nancy we gave deluxe pedicure with spa treatments and I had my feet done by Thai who truly put his back into it. Lol. I would advise anyone who once not only a great experience but also an amazing pedicure done at this salon. The only thing i will say is that i normally get my foot shellac done and its 40 dollars. Their's is 55..that's pretty expensive. Thai did a great job though and i tipped him out great and Nancy as well. read more

I came in yesterday for a gel manicure. I am not from the area, so I'm unfamiliar with this salon. To take my old gel polish off my nails, the nail tech used the nail grinder completely. I was not used to that happening. In any other salon, I have been into the nail tech just takes off the top layer of nail polish with the grinder and then you sit with acetone on your nails for about 20 minutes. I thought they only used the grinder for complete nail polish removal for acrylic nails. Also, when I go in back home, the nail tech used sterile supplies on my nails. He just dove into his drawer and used unsterile clippers etc. that many people have probably used before me getting in there! I will not be back again, as I am not used to this type of service nor do I want it. read more

I'm here visiting for a wedding, and I'm from the north so clearly not from around here, but I don't think that should matter. I initially went on a Wednesday and it was surprisingly busy, but we got sat pretty quickly. People were nice and the messages we good but the trouble came when the started painting the nails...the one job that I actually wanted done. I asked for just a basic French tip pedicure and the way that they did it baffled me as I had never seen someone do French tips like that. They didn't use a skinny brush, just the big brush and plopped the white almost all over my toenails. She then proceeded to use acetone to wipe around the nail to try and make it a "French tip" but it was a lost cause and they came out all crooked and weird. They never even put a nude color on, just the white tip and a clear coat. I'm a people pleaser so don't say anything and was really sad after spending almost $100 plus dollars for shit nails. I went home and within an hour I had chips on the nail, I literally had done nothing that would ever cause chipping. So, that was my last straw and I went again in the morning and asked them to redo them with a nude this time as well. There was no apologies and the owner lady was so nasty about us coming back I could just hear her attitude through her words. The nails ended up looking like shit again (pictured below) and I didn't feel like complaining again as I felt so uncomfortable with the atmosphere and attitude I just left. I said thank you anyway and got a nasty goodbye from the owner again. Would never recommend unless you want your nails to look like shit. I usually never write reviews but I had to let the people know this place is awful. They only get two stars cause they were nice the first time but that was a total front! read more

Probably my favorite place in the Myrtle beach area to get anything done to my nails/toes. I've been to most people here (not having an appt) and I have not been disappointed. Tom does a really great job & takes his time. There's an older gentleman who does some of the best pedicures & manicures. If I don't forget to make an appt, Thu is always my go-to girl for a fill in. She always delivers. Lastly, this was my 2nd time getting my lashes done & Tina for sure did her thing. Best part about it, it only took her an hour!!! Another one bites the dust. I've been here twice now for gel pedicures.. both times done by men. Both times great experience. This time, not so much.. as I sit here writing this review, the lady doing my pedicure is very sweet but.. scratched the sh*T out of me during my "massage". It was not enjoyable at all.. just rubbing up and down my legs with her sharp nails. I don't believe the sprayed my toes with alcohol before she started the polish and my cuticles weren't pushed back or cut... she also dropped her tools several times on the ground and picked them back up to use on me. I have been coming here from the first week they opened! I really like this place! Also Cash did my nails this last time and really took his time to make sure they were how I liked them. I did a light pink glitter with a white tip. Cash did exactly how I like, and made sure they were done right. I like them thinner then most people. Since Yelp only has star(s) to rate businesses, I had to give this nail salon a star, and I am very hesitant to give this place even a ONE Star. The only thing that earned this place a star is from speaking to one of the ladies there that spoke very fluent English and we were able to get the prices clarified so we would know for certain what the bill was prior to our exit. This was a nightmare of an event. It was my first time ever visiting Myrtle Beach and we thought it would be a great idea to save time and just get our mani/pedi while we were visiting the beach. Big mistake!!! I do not speak a lick of Vietnamese but the lady who was tending to us made comments in English that was very rude. The man who rang us up had been told by the lady who spoke fluent English the total to enter in the POS. We repeated the total and he agreed by shaking his head North and South and to us that was the universal acknowledgement that he understood. Tell me why he overcharged us by $40.++ and we had to show him by counting on our fingers how much he would have to refund via cash since he did not have the ability to cancel the overcharged transaction. Never again will I visit this shoppe, not even on my desperate Hr. This is one of those places that make U dislike slick broken English comments that accompany their body language and their eyes say it all. Absolutely a place where these two workers made us so uncomfortable w/ their rudeness and they would use their defense that English is not their first language. Came here with my daughter, sister in law, and her friend for a manicure. They got us in and out quickly. No wait at all. And my daughter loved her mani/pedi. My only complaint is that my manicure felt rushed (no massage, scrub, etc) and my nails seemed a bit thin for acrylic, but maybe that's better. The service's went ok but it a while for them to complete our manicures, we aire arrived @10:30am & didn't get finished until 1pm. When we sat down to get our pedicures my daughter pointed out the kids mani/pedi to the nail tech. When it was time to pay they tried to upcharge me extra for her mani/pedi the manager came out with an attitude explaining that they completed a deluxe pedicure on my daughter instead of what she asked for. I visited this spot ONLY based on the fact it was closest to my hotel in Myrtle Beach! It's in a little Strip mall, but quite nice inside, as far as nail salons go. Both my technicians we're very nice. Great massage on the pedi; but the callus removal left something to be desired. Overall it wasn't terrible; a lot more than I'm used to paying (Mani/pedis are super cheap on the west coast). $100 for deluxe pedicure and a full set of acrylics with gel polish on my hands (without manicure!). It wasn't until the next day I noticed the corner of my thumbnail was dull :( Unfortunately we were leaving that day...not to mention I slammed my thumb in the car door and couldn't have handled anyone touching it for a nail polish repair. You said "3 weeks and if it doesn't come to me and I'll fix it" the owner said you guys have a 3 day policy rule that you'll only fix it after 3 days. 2. The cops were called because your owner wanted me to walk out with my hands looking like the picture above. They said because i didn't remember my color it was my fault. Your management can't even take responsibility for their own words and actions. ALSO, i called the cops because your management team sucks and said i either leave like that (with my hand two diff colors) or there was no other remedy. I called the cops to get my money back, the cops said that multiple people have filed complaints about this business. He also informed me to not come back because of the reputation your nail salon has. I've heard of the bad reputation and i never believed it until i was mistreated. I wouldn't walk into your salon even if the service was free. Your reputation sucks and always will. You don't know how to do business and your management team still doesn't know how to remedy any issue (which explains all the bad reviews.) I have been going here faithful for the last 9 months. I have always had a great experience and my usually visits for nails (pink and white) basic pedi with gel, brow wax + tip totally over $225 faithfully. I tip well and always use the same techs. my last visit two weeks ago led to this review. I spent over $250 on the lady visit bc I had nails taken off and a brand new set. 2weeks later both my brand new set (7 out of 10 nails) have lifted. I called today to make them aware and she acted as if though I was a problem. As if there was nothing that could be done. My mother also had a fill end with the same type of nails, same technician within days of my visit, and her nails have also lifted. Worst experience I have ever had with a nail salon! Their customer service is awful ! They say they really appreciate the business, but their actions say the opposite. I did not want to make a public complaint on Social Media initially. I did message the Salon directly through FB message and email, although I did not get any response, after several days. I was looking for a new salon "home", since the place I was going to changed owners and my favorite tech said they were leaving. I decided to try Nail Couture because it's close to where I live. I have been using the powder/dip polish on my nails for well over a year now. It usually lasts about 3 weeks. I went in on 4/1 for my first visit. I had a dip manicure and pedicure done. Typically people go to a salon to relax and be pampered a little. I did spend $120 dollars for services and tips. However my experience was not relaxing at all. I'd be happy to give more details about the experience if anyone cares to hear it. The real problem started happening just a few days after the manicure, when my nails started chipping and separating/lifting. I went back to the salon on 4/7 to ask them to fix the issue. I'm sure no one would be happy with paying $50 for a dip manicure that didn't last for at least a couple of weeks. From the moment I walked into the salon to request that my nails by fixed, I was treated unprofessionally and unkindly. It was so incredibly uncomfortable for me. I probably should have just left when I realized that the salon staff were annoyed and unhappy that I was there. The same nail tech that did the 1st manicure also did the "fix". She did not say 1 word to me until she was finished. I did tell her how uncomfortable she and the other staff made me feel! Still no apology. I did tip her for her time though she didn't seem to feel bad about my time or inconvenience. My nails look awful. Very chunky, thick and uneven. I have included some pictures to illustrate how bad they look. I can't help but wonder if the tech did that on purpose because she was angry at me for coming back with a complaint. Of course, as I looked further into the salons reviews on several different platforms, I saw that there are bad reviews and complaints similar to mine as far as the salons attitude towards customer complaints. This is my first bad review of a business ever! Had they treated me better and just kindly fixed the problem, I would not have done anything else. Had I received a good response from either of the two private messages that I sent, I wouldn't have posted a complaint. That's 3 opportunities for this salon to have proven how much they appreciate the business that they failed!!!! My boyfriend and I stopped in here for an impromptu pedicure while on vacation. We both opted for the aromatherapy deluxe pedicure and it was lovely. I get pedicures about once a month and really liked the fact that they used fresh lemons during the process - it smelled great - and was unique to our experience here. The guy who was doing my nails couldn't accept any comments coming from my side and just kept repeating that I am too young too worry (?) . I tried to point out to him that the sides of my nails weren't even and looked messy. He just kept going out how I shouldn't worry and everything will be fine in the end. At one point his colleague came to him and I am 99% sure he complained to him about me ( speaking their language ). I kinda just gave up and decided not to say anything until the end. I had minimum hope that he will fix my nails in the end, but, boy oh boy, was I disappointed. My nails were thick, uneven and you could see my actual nails on the sides of a few fingers. These ppl are AMAZING!!! What a pleasant find. First of all, they have hundreds of colors to choose from so you can mix and match several colors or find just the right color for your mani pedi. I chose two colors for my hands and I have no clue how I was even able to narrow it down to two because I wanted to use all the colors. Great selection Second of all, they serve you wine as you're getting you're nails done and you actually have a choice between A few red and white wines. How sweet is that? I can relax, as I relax! That was a nice surprise. Don't tell anyone but I had three glasses. Hehe. Let me tell you about the polish.... I arrived with a friggin' mess on my finger tips and they made me glam in an instant. The polish was just perfection and I'm just so happy about it. The technician was a professional. He was gentle cleaning my Cuticles and shaping my nails, and the polish was a breeze. Great job guys! Ladies be very careful about your pedicures. If done poorly you can lasting problems. The man who did my feet cut the skin from my big toe. I said please push my cuticles not cut and he processed to cut. I had to ask twice. It did not bleed but when he put the alcohol on the clear the lotion it hurt. THIS IS LONG !! I really did not want to write a review. However, I want everyone to know what a chance I took. I was recommended to this place by my daughter. My very first visit I had dip nails and the gentlemen that did them was very loud. I over looked that because more employees were being loud as well. I just figured, hey whistle while you work. (meaning fun) They loved to call everybody BOO, BOO which I find unprofessional. Nevertheless in 24 hours I had to return to the salon do to the separation of the dipping powder and my nail. This salon gives a punch card and every time you have your nails done, they sign it. On the 5th visit you have ten dollars off. When I did return, I had to prove that I had been there by showing the card to 2 different people. Also the owner said that, if I did not remember the color they would have to charge me something. I think not. A different gentleman did my nails, and he stated that they had to be trim down due to my nail curling underneath. Oh wait, I forgot a very important incident. While I was there, my 3 year old granddaughter was with me, and I asked if she could have her nails painted. The gentleman said yes it would be 5 dollars. No problem. I was not pleased with the length of my nails when said and done, and I told them that my hands look like toes. I didn't mind paying for what I wanted. Anyway, when I got the register to pay the owner try to charge me 8 dollars for my granddaughter. I stated that the gentleman said it would be 5. She then called the name of the employee and spoke in her language. I am sure she was upset about the price for my granddaughter. Next visit: I made an appointment and arrived on time and was not able to get the nail tech that I requested. So, the owner asked me would another person be okay. I said yes. She the sat me with a different gentleman. I returned 2 weeks later, I received the same guy. when he took the polish off and begin to drill, I noticed 2 spots on 2 different figures. I asked the gentleman, is this something to worry about, he replied "no." I asked him while he filled my nails, was he sure that wasn't a problem being concern about my nail he replied, " if there was something to worry about he would tell me."Well now, it is getting into two weeks to return to get my nails done which I had plan on to Friday 04/19/2019. I was in a department store shopping and a nail on the right side fell off in the store on 04/18/19. When I looked a my nail it was green.I did not continue to shop, because the nail salon closes at 7 and it was 6:53 and I needed to head over before they closed. I arrived at 6:59, and the owner asked what she could do for me. I wanted to remain calm and professional and not upset the other customers. When she came to me, I spoke in a low voice and displayed my nail to her, and also I explained to her that I had a conversation with the guy who did my nails and we discussed the small spots in my nail beds. She immediately said, "how did this happen and it was no big deal." She went on to say that they can not help if water get under your nails. I asked if they could just take them off. She stated that she would but it would be a few minutes as if she had a customer to finish. When another employee was done, I am assuming (because spoke in their language) and had her take care of me. The lady technician viewed my missing nail and had me sit in the middle section of there salon. At this point I could not hold back the tears. The technician then told me to keep the one nail off for a couple of days and come back to put another gel nail on my nail. I then explained to her that there maybe a fungus on another nail. She removed the nail, and yes it was black with fungus. She stated that it was not a big deal, and I am sitting there trying to hold back emotions and tears which was not working at all. The owner and the employee were talking and even though I can't understand there language, I knew they were discussing my nails. The owner walked over and pointed at another customer and stated that she had a fungus as well,and she wasn't upset. I explained to her that I googled the information and the only way that this happened was that the nail and acrylic was not sealed properly. She walked away following my statement. The technician that took the nails off , said that she would give me a file to continue to file away at the fungus and come back in a few days, and she wanted me to leave with 8 nails done and 2 undone and fungus-ed. I said take them all off. She wanted to know why. I stated take them off please. She said "you are the boss lady." I just wanted them gone at this point. I also told her I have been getting my nails done for years and l never had this problem before. After she finished removing them, she put some oil on them and ask me to wash my hands. She said come back in 4 or 5 days and she would take care of me.I thank her for trying to make the best of an terrible situation. read more

I had to get my acrylics removed for work so I went in at 4. They close at 5 so maybe they were just ready to leave I don't know but they didn't even soak my nails. They popped off my thumb acrylic with a plastic nail tip and then attempted to do the same to my pointer finger until they realized they pulled about half of my nail off and it was bleeding. I then asked if they soak them off and they started to do it the kind of right way. My nails are off but I have half of a broken nail my other 9 nails have dried up acrylic underneath from the soaking and I didn't get a clear coat or anything on my nails after they were filed down. Oh and they still had me pay full price which I wasn't going to argue with them on. I was just ready to leave at that point it had been an hour. read more

My daughter and I came as a walk in, initially, we were told they were busy and said it would be a 30 minute wait. We said we could come back, we were told to come back in an hour. Ten seconds later, the manager said "it's okay, we can get you in now". Subsequently waited over an hour sitting in pedi chair soaking in very cold water. We were fine coming later, we had other errands to run. Very disrespectful of my time. I think they were afraid to lose business, that we wouldn't return. read more
