This might be my favorite nail salon ever! I found them from Pinterest after I saw a pink chrome manicure and instantly became obsessed. I searched high and low for the perfect manicure for my wedding day. This salon is perfect for millennial - they update their Instagram daily and they accept appointments via text any time of the day. I texted at about 11pm and got a response immediately. It was super easy! Plus, the staff is young and they're all American-born, so I felt very comfortable communicating with them. I've only gotten a pedicure once in my life over ten years ago and I hated it because I'm so ticklish, but Saccia and Safia took great care of me at my first appointment. Everything was a breeze and they made sure I was satisfied before I left. When I was unsure about the color I got or something went wrong after I left, I just texted them and was able to get an appointment quickly to fix whatever issue I had. Ultimately, Julie did my nails for my wedding day and they came out FLAWLESS. I got the pink chrome nails I was pining after, and I got so many compliments on them! I had to get a couple of broken nails fixed with acrylic and they looked exactly like my natural nails - no one could tell the difference and a few of my nails have lasted over 3 weeks now and I'm still obsessed with them. If you're getting a chrome gel manicure, definitely get two coats of clear polish on top. They will chip immediately if you only get one coat. The women here are very professional and they make you feel comfortable being there. Their prices are also reasonable ($30 for gel manicure, $18 for design, $4/acrylic, $5 for gel removal, $35 for gel pedicure) and they offer a $3 discount if you post your nailfie with them on social media. They accept credit cards, and you get the full breakdown of your receipt via email. There's also always parking conveniently available in the lot or on the street. Don't come here to get your pedicure There's was red flags all around but still decided to give them a try I called and they hanged up but I live around the area and decided to still give them a try When I got there they ripped off my nails for the old acrylic on my toe They made me bleed I had to go the doctor and was told they cut me too deep A week later I noticed I had fungus on my toe When they clicked I should've taken that as a sign :( read more

The facial and service I never knew I needed. Dee was the real queen of great customer service! She was giving "i know what I'm doing" realness. She left me feeling like a million dollar smooth Hershey chocolate bar. Can't wait to come back. I highly recommend this place. read more

I've been getting my nails done consistently for the past few years and I used to do my own nails growing up. I'll be the first to admit that I am a perfectionist and have a very high standard (probably higher than the average person) for how I like my nails done especially given how much time and money I spend on getting my nails done. I normally go to my nail technician on Melrose but she wasn't available today so I found Nail'd It and was able to book a last minute appointment to get Gel X removal and a new set. During the removal, the nail technician burned me not once, or twice, but THREE times from trying to file down my nails. Never had I had my Gel X set filed down without soaking them off to then find out that they didn't have foil??? Which was why my nail technician was trying file it down as thin as possible so she could give me a new set without having to soak them off. After the second time she burned me, I asked if she could be more careful but it happened a third time so I decided to pay and leave early from my appointment and go elsewhere to finish my nails. To management: please provide your staff with the proper training for your services. read more

I only come here to see my favorite nail tech. This place could aesthetically use a serious face lift though, it's messy and disorganized. Also I wish they had more nail techs on duty to help walk in customers. After all, walk ins typically account for over half of these businesses and isn't it all about that paper? Get it together! Also they could use a front desk employee to manage bookings. Who owns this place? They should at the very least designate a manager to get things right. read more

I've been searching for a nail salon for some time now and I think I'm ready to settle down. It was my first time coming here and setting up and appointment was so easy! You can text or call- I went ahead and called on a Friday and they were able to book me for the next day! I was so surprised as nail salons tend to be booked out during the weekend, guess I got lucky? Come Saturday, I got a call from one of the gals offering me to come in earlier so of course I took it! The Location: The shop is right off Santa Monica and vine located in a shopping center next to the gas station (I think it's a Mobil). Parking was easy for me as I parked right in front of the shop! The shopping center itself isn't the best but I promise the attention to detail you get here definitely factors the location out. Ambiance: Super cute tiny shop, making it feel very welcoming. There is about 3 pedicure stations I believe or maybe even 4 and there are 4 manicure stations. Bathroom is available and so is a wash station. They play really good music- hip hop, r&b. Waiting area is tiny and consists of a couch but I guess that's not really a necessity here and this salon runs based off of appointments to refrain from having people to wait for periods o My experience: I got there a couple minutes early and even had to wait about 20-25 minutes, I didn't mind since I was bumped up anyway and I know sometimes nail techs can run a little behind. I was greeted and tended by Kofi who did an AMAZING job on my nails. She was a bit hesitant at first as I had recently taken off my acrylics and my nails seemed pretty weak and brittle but I assured her that I'd be fine. Throughout the filing down and application of the acrylics she kept asking me if I was okay- I greatly appreciated her consideration. She made sure I got the shape and length I wanted- always making my wants were met at all times. I'm a bit quiet when I first meet someone but Kofi made it super easy to talk to her, she is very approachable and sweet and I greatly appreciated her not making it awkward! I 10/10 would recommend this nail spot and definitely would recommend Kofi as she left your girl looking fresh and getting complimented on my nails left and right! Thanks girl!! Disclaimer: Kofi is not there on a regular basis. I believe she is there every 2 weeks for four days. So if you're looking to book an appointment with her I would ask what her schedule looks like :) read more

Worse customer service ever. I've been here before and had Au're and it was much better. I wish I could've gotten the receptionist name because she looked like she didn't even wanna be there. Had an appointment at 5:30 with June, really wanted Au're but apparently she's on leave, but they text me telling me to come in at 6...okay fine. Get there early, only one person says hi to me, and I'm waiting until like 6:10 when I finally ask how much longer. The receptionist or whoever was like oh another 40 min. I was like wow and nobody could've communicated that to me. She gives me a weak ass sorry and I walk out. I'm disappointed because I really liked how Au're did my nails but I can't support this place anymore read more

This is my first time coming here I have spent several days researching nail salons from Simi Valley to Beverly Hills. Why? Because like many of you my time and money are important to me. And I didn't want to end up spending like $100 on hooker nails . This nail salon is an hour drive away from me (I live in Simi Valley); and it was worth the drive. I've never had such flawless nails. Mikkie did my nails. I will always go to her from now on. Painless, beautiful, flawless nails! Called at the last min for a gel pedi, and Dri did an amazing pedicure on me. She lined the bowl with a liner ,which is a must. Her tools were clean. They had Presto gel colors!! The best gels there is.The chat was low, but I paid some bills and returned messages. I read some reviews and I must say- most of these yelpers needs to get a life. Not everyone is waiting for you! You have no idea how hard it is to keep a salon up until you have one! Get a life! read more

I decided to give this place a try for my first time and I really loved my nails but I left a little upset because of the price.... I'm used to paying a lot for my nails but this place decided to charge me extra just because my acrylics had a gel color from a different salon..... that's pretty ridiculous to me. This place was great. They took my appointment for the next day and I requested if they can see me earlier if there any cancellations to call me in which they did and I was able to get in early. When I got there I noticed that they have so many cool designs that are very unique and custom. They are five dollars each or $18 for a full set of unique custom design. I got a full set with coffin shape gel nails for $55. My technician took her time and she paid attention to the detail of how I liked my nails to look which I told her narrow to make my fingers look longer, and I don't like the edges pointy so she gave it more round look. They have free customer parking lot in front of their salon. read more

These ladies are hella cool! I got a basic mani/pedi. Found a color similar to the chrome I was going to get had I not broke 2 nails before arriving to LA. Not the best nail job I've ever gotten (cuticles still a hot mess, color not fully on sides of nails) but also not the worst nail job I've ever gotten. I needed to make an appointment but luckily was able to get one for the same day at a very later time. Cool, since I was visiting LA and had no time to get my nails done before coming to the area. I noticed the nail art display and was in awe! Whoever does the nail art, looks to do an amazing job. I would get fancy nails done here. They looked GREAT! 3D nails, chrome, matte. So this place for the record is small, but I love that it's not like most nail shops where it's so many people. Upon arrival I was greeted at the door an asked to pick my color. I informed I was there for my appointment which I didn't wait long at all which is a plus, ash was my nail tech omg she was so nice An sweet very good conversation I also had a pedicure at that time with a gentlemen who did a amazing job as well I'm a very picky person when it comes to my nails and ash hit the design head on i have read the reviews on here didn't do them Justice I will be returning for sure. read more

Originally scheduled for Au're but something happened so they gave me Nora as my replacement. I really didn't want to go to Nora because I don't like my nail techs being swapped but I didn't really have another option because everyone else I wanted to go to in LA was booked. Mind you I don't live in LA I live in New York. I paid 130 and my nails barely lasted two weeks. Usually when I get my nails done they last me at least a month. Two of my nails already popped off. I am very disappointed about the service I received. A waste of money. Both hands are like the picture, smfh. read more

Satisfied customer. I wanted to get a manicure before my birthday trip to Japan. I had a gel French manicure done. The photo attached is from 2 weeks post manicure. Polish is still intact. Acrylics seem to be the specialty at this location. It was not the cheapest nor the best manicure I have ever had however I was able to make an appointment quickly, I enjoyed my time at the salon, and my nail polish has lasted for 2 weeks... which is impressive considering I work in healthcare and am constantly scrubbing my hands. I am going to stick to the facts of what took place here yesterday. It's my daughter's birthday today and mine at the end of this week, so I thought I would have a special nail art day with my two adult girls. We read the reviews, and this place seemed to be able to do what we envisioned. We texted the owner days ahead of time and got appointments for yesterday March 15. Owner asked that we text photos of the nail art we wanted so she would be sure to have the colors and embellishments available. We made 2 appts. at 2pm and 1 at 3:30pm for gel manicures with nail art design. The 3 of us arrived at the same time, preparing that one waits. When we got there and said that we had appts. the nail techs. said, "Do you have a picture of what you want?' Yes, ok, we did. One nail tech said she didn't know how to do that, but the other one started on one daughter, while the one who couldn't do my design was instructed to start my gel mani. The manicurists were never given the pics we submitted and had no idea of the designs and colors we wanted. Ok, so my #1 daughter had a light pink background with floating rhinestones set in. I wanted an ombre dark brown to tan transition with only one of the nails on each hand blended. After my #1 daughter's nails were done, the more advanced nail tech started on my nails and my #2 daughter's gel manicure was done by the one who was unable to do any nail art. Back to my manicure - she mixed colors which looked nothing like the photo I sent. She started putting the color on, then couldn't get the colors right, so added other colors to the gel polishes. When she showed me, I said I didn't like it. She kept trying to fix it, adding layers and layers of gel. She said ombre is so hard. I had been sitting in her chair for over 1.5 hours and it was time for daughter #2 to get her nails done. She wanted stars painted on her nails. The tech did fine with the stars. They look nice. But, here is the deal - the place is not clean, no disposable hand towels when you wash at the sink, so she handed me a dingy old dirty towel. Things were not sanitary. The owner apparently never communicated what we wanted to the nail techs. One nail tech was not able to do anything. I paid and left tip for both manicurists, but was not happy with my job. I couldn't stay and complain any more, as daughter #2 had to get home to take her online college class and we had already sat there 3.5 hours. Once I got home, I texted the owner saying I wasn't happy and she asked if I had addressed my issues while I was there. I said I had. And, I showed her pics asking her to admit that it wasn't a good job. She did admit this but said I shouldn't have left the shop with nails looking like that. I was charged $70 for my gel mani with two nails that were ombre (well sort of) and $160 for my daughter's gel manis and nail art (which looks ok). **UPDATE: After 1.5 days, the stones on my #1 daughter's nails are popping off. She is not hard on her nails, nor does she do dishes or have anything to do with soaking hands in water. She spent more money to have a local salon re-do the botch job done here. read more

I made an appointment for 5:15pm on Monday. I show up and she asks what I'm doing there. I told her I had a 5:15pm appointment, and she promptly tells me that she's running late and that if I want my nails done I will have to wait until 5:45pm. It was kind of rude so I said i wish I would have known. They don't take walk-ins and I had to book two days in advance. She just looks at me. Doesn't bother to apologize or anything. It was like she forgot I was coming and had this attitude like it's either wait or nothing and if you don't like it you can leave. I waited until 5:45pm, and she tells ask her how much longer and she thinks about it and says 5-10 more minutes! Again no apology, no recognition of the fact that I'm the only other person in the salon and I've been waiting already for 35 minutes. I don't know about anyone else, but I have a busy schedule and I made the time to be there on time And give her my business and she treated me very dismissively and like she couldn't give a rats ass that I had to wait 45 mins. I feel like that's super disrespectful of other people's time, and honestly I saw the job she was doing on the other girl and it wasn't all that good. read more

That loyalty made my most recent visit all the more disappointing. I had a 10:50am appointment. The day before, Felicia texted asking if I could push to 11am. I said I'd try to rearrange my plans. She replied: "let's keep the 10:45." I managed to move things around (because if she was asking, I figured she was in need, and I wanted to help) and arrived at 10:57 -- 7 minutes late by the original booking, not 15. When I walked in, Felicia told me I was 15 minutes late. I explained I'd rearranged my schedule to accommodate her request. She shrugged and said "too bad, I already booked someone afterwards.". It wasn't until I was in the room that I checked the reminder email -- original appointment: 10:50. So by her own scheduler, I was 7 minutes late, not 15. Felicia eventually gave me an extra 5 minutes to make up for the mix-up, and I appreciated that. But the cold, dismissive way she started the appointment stayed with me. That's not how you treat someone who's followed you for 15 years. Part of why I see Felicia specifically -- and not one of those high-volume places with curtain walls and hospital beds for tables (you know the ones) -- is the whole experience. A facial should be calming and restorative, and Felicia's warmth has always been as much a part of that as her technique. When that warmth disappeared at the door, it colored everything that followed. The facial itself was top notch. Felicia is genuinely skilled, stays current on products and techniques, and can deliver a top-notch treatment in her sleep. I hope this was an off day, because the person that greeted me at the door was not the warm person that I've been loyal to for a decade and a half.

What makes this situation frustrating is the strict enforcement of the company's cancellation policy, which charges customers a 50% fee when canceling less than 24hrs in advance. It is only fair that the same level of accountability be upheld on both sides. Customers are expected to respect the policy, and in return, the business should demonstrate the same consideration and reliability. Not be compensated with a $5 discount. When if I had canceled the appointment would have been charged $30. Experiencing this issue more than once concerns me about their consistency and professionalism. I hope improvements are made to better manage scheduling or compensation.

If you have **4 hours** TO WASTE on a basic gel fill that could easily be done in 1 hour to 1 hour 15 tops, then get your nails done here. -All the other negative reviews about this place are totally spot on!! The nail techs there seem slow and disinterested and rude, nails are uneven and lumpy looking, overpriced for the crappy job ( wouldn't have a problem paying that if it was done beautifully and under 2 hours). My nail artist was nice but was so slow when it came to simply filing and shaping nails. If I didn't correct her multiple times, my nails would be uneven all over and thick like the other pictures people have posted. Shaping nails and filing let alone took 3+ hours before finally painting the nails!!!!!! My nails were still not shaped properly and painted well and was super expensive for a mediocre job that was 4+ hours. The other girls were also rude and I don't think I'll be returning . Very disappointed to spend lots of money and lots of hours on something so basic that I could of gotten done elsewhere for cheaper and a cleaner finish. Ugh I feel like the photos don't represent the work done at the salon as there were only 2 others girls There. And the other nail Artist was super slow too. I've never been anywhere in my life where it takes more than 2-3 hours straight to work on nails. Did you not train them or watch them do nails? Who has the time for this? Diann, with all the negative reviews do you not care to address and fix the issues? These nail techs will lose you more money than you think you're saving by keeping them on your team. They're inexperienced and cannot clearly duplicate other nail reference photos. No offense, but I now see why The majority of Asians work at nail salons. They're fast and do a great job which is the exact opposite of what I experienced and I've been to a lot of high end nail places and cheap ones as well. read more

Julie is THE BEST. She has been doing my nails for the last year and a half or so and I don't know what I'd do without her. I am a self proclaimed high maintenance client and I always leave happy with her amazing work. She has always delivered on every request I've brought her - designs, specific colors, shape, etc. and I wouldn't go to anyone else. She is very creative and helps me with designs I'm not sure of and/or picks designs for me when I don't have anything in mind. The salon also carries colors and brands that are hard to find, including Presto gel polish, which I couldn't find anywhere when I moved here. They have a great color selection as well as nail art products (like fairy dust, holo, glitter etc). The only thing they can improve upon is common area cleaning - management needs to have a cleaning service come on a regular basis to deep clean the floors, baseboards, bathroom, shelves, etc. The salon is not dirty in general, just dusty in areas that don't get daily cleaning and wipe downs. PS. As evidenced by the number of reviews I've written previously (zero), I only took the time to write this bc Julie is that great PPS. I went in yesterday to get gel nails done for an event today. I called in for a 6:15pm appointment and when I arrived I was asked if I needed a design or not. They informed me that there is a wait for as there are only a few. I was seated pretty quickly and was asked to pick out colors. While I waited, they gave me a bottle of water. They were very busy and I waited about 10 minutes or so before a manicurist attended to me. The woman's name was Vanesa and she apologize for the wait and got straight to work immediately. They were very quick and efficient and really worked to get the design that I wanted. I brought my own nail stickers which were a bit difficult and she made it work. I liked that she kept her work space clean -also the towels she put down on the table were very white (!) and that she listened to what I asked for, +plus that warm lotion massage afterward. Yes. I heard good things about this place so I'm glad I came to this nail spa. For $37 +tip I got some rad nails. Call ahead to make an appointment. read more

I came here in a last minute crisis and needed a full set for a huge event that I had. The service was amazing. I was referred to a nail tech by the name of Au'Re. SHE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST! She's very very polite and takes directions well. If you want a particular shape she's the one you need to go to! On top of her Amazing full sets, her designs and art work are unremarkable! I was wearing all black and needed something to make my nails pop. I asked Au'Re for advice in what she thought I should do.. 45mins later, she created all black nails with a Gucci snake to match my shoes that I would be wearing. Her artistic eye for this job is awesome. I love all of her work and now I REFUSE to go to anyone else. I live in Carson and gladly take this drive to Hollywood for quality nails, great service, and money well spent! If you give this salon a try, be sure to request Au'Re! Au're is the BEST! My acrylic fills with gel polish usually last me 3-4 weeks so it's a great value. Her work is meticulous and she's super creative. I always get nail art so we often collaborate on the designs/ideas--she's super fun to work with. I usually giver her a few thoughts on inspo and she makes my idea come to life. She can literally freehand any design! She's exceeded my expectations on anything I've ever asked her for. I also love that I can make an appointment via text--so easy. After a couple visits, I think I can safely declare that I've found my new spot! These girls are nice! Quiet at first, but when they warm up, the conversation gets going and they're fun and personable. I love that they all speak English. It feels like a kick it spot. Since it's by appointment only, they take their time with you because there are no walk ins sitting there waiting to be seen. I love it! I was here about two weeks ago. The service was awesome and omg these girls are amazingly talented. The even have reserved parking for their clients only. I noticed that some technicians were more advanced than others. Diana did my nails. It's kind of cool to actually enjoy hanging out while you're getting your nails done. And really though where else do they play music like they do. It's like hanging out with your girlfriends. My nails came out better than the picture I showed her. My new nail salon! Clean, comfortable, and so cute! And yay love the Spa chairs. Bonus. They have individually sterilized instruments that helps you relax and know they didn't just magically come up with "clean utensils". They have a really big selection of nail polishes! OPI !!!! The place is cool clean and not too girly , It's next to the boxing gym so I stop by on my way out. They use instruments straight from the sterilizer so you don't have to worry about infections or catching anything. Def a revisit and yes I get my nails done lol read more

Great job on my gels. I had a badly broken nail which had been repaired at another salon and it was no problem for Safia to work with the silk repair. The color choice is great too - they carry about 300 (guessing!) different shades of gel color. read more
