This time my pedicure and gel manicure didn't go well again. The pedicure nail polish was poorly applied. I informed them the polish was uneven and didn't look smooth. The gel manicure was the merengue color and the polish was not even on my right thumb. I told the manager and all she said was "I appreciate your feedback." Even though the service was bad they still tried adding a tip and I removed it. Horrible experience again and never coming back. Quality - Elena (sp?) did my biogel removal portion. Beforehand, I communicated with her that parts of my nails are sensitive to drilling, so she was gentle. She was considerate to just drill the top layer rather than drilling everything and soaked off the rest of the biogel underneath - so that it could be less drilling for me which I appreciated. Then Dora completed my Dazzle Dry manicure portion. They were closing early that day, but she still tried to take her time. She also explained to me that very thin parts of the biogel was best to leave there for now since the layer was really close to my nail to drill and therefore would drill directly on my thin nail -I always appreciate a little nail health education. It is day 4 now so far and hasn't chipped. The biogel I've had for the past few months is obviously much more smoother, cleaner, and prettier application and than Dazzle Dry lol but Dazzle Dry is a decent option for its staying power. Dazzle dry appearance looks more like a 3/5, like it's fine, nothing amazing but Dora and Elena as workers are 5/5. Vibe - was a busy Friday during rush hour before the holiday weekend, there were more clients than usual and they were closing early too. Another client called for an appt and came really late so she was turned away because it was nearing closing time. My advice would be to use the Fresha app and stick to the time slot you scheduled.

So I have been coming here for YEARS and though I am not picky about who does the pedicure service, I want someone that hears me and is gentle. I have ankle and some joint issues and in the past (not necessarily here), I have had people move my feet and ankles in position that are painful because they feel more comfortable if my feet are in a certain position. Then when I have to move it to be comfortable they get upset with me. What I love about Lisa is she is gentle. If I am uncomfortable she tries her best to work with the fact my foot might be tilted a bit and makes it work. She is detailed and listens to the shape and requests I might have. What what was delivered instead of Gold is black looking French tips that look horrible the polish doesn't go all the way to the cuticle on the sides and in some areas the cuticles were not taken care of completely. I did point this out but it wasn't corrected. When I went to pay I said this is unacceptable. The manager and the person who did the manicure insisted that there was nothing that looked like black but what we can see in the pictures is that's not true. The manager was insisting that I pay for the service. I said they can take everything off and we'll call it a day. She said I still have to pay for the service and that would take even more time. I said I'm not gonna do that because now I have to pay for another salon to take this off. So she said fine just leave --there's the door. She chose a pretty red, and I went with a soft pink. My friend didn't get her feet scrubbed, and unfortunately, the pedicure didn't hold up--her polish rubbed off the tops of her toes after wearing heels that night. A letdown. My experience was better, and the polish held up nicely. One important thing to note: tipping is unclear here. The total on my credit card was $80.
