After they started on my friend's nails, someone brought over a price breakdown--upsells like a salt scrub or callus removal are extra. We both opted for the basic gel manicure for $55. She chose a pretty red, and I went with a soft pink. My friend didn't get her feet scrubbed, and unfortunately, the pedicure didn't hold up--her polish rubbed off the tops of her toes after wearing heels that night. A letdown. My experience was better, and the polish held up nicely. One important thing to note: tipping is unclear here. The total on my credit card was $80. New owners put in new chairs that are uncomfortable and now you can't get a neck massage. The prices have gone up over $100. My gel pedicure and gel x nails came to over $300. Some of the nail techs are still there from before but the whole vibe has changed. They didn't need to spend tens of thousands of dollars on new chairs that none of us like. read more

Total waste of time. I called ahead to confirm they did powder dip, but when I arrived, they didn't have the supplies and tried to force Gel-X on me. They said they'd send someone out to get the supplies (sounded sketchy to me). After waiting more than 30 minutes just to start, the technician cut one of my nails way too short and uneven. When they finally tried to do the dip, the brush wasn't working properly (I think it was old), they didn't have a backup, and they tried pushing Gel-X again. I had to leave with ruined, unfinished nails. They used to be good years ago, but it is terrible now. Do not go here, the place is terrible. read more

I originally started off with 4 stars but it gradually went down as the days (2 days) passed. Painless way to make an appointment though when I arrived a few minutes early to pick out my color and got settled, the staff thought I wanted pedicure as well even though I never mentioned anything about it. I got a semi-gel manicure with white polish. My technician didn't coat the edges of my nails so I already see a few fingers starting to chip in small places after 24 hours, which means it's going to get worse. My roommate came here first and said her semi-gel polish chipped in a day and one nail's polish came completely off on it's own in a week. After a couple days, I noticed that the whiteness of the color has started to turn brown-ish. It's a weird sight and really disappointing. I haven't done anything since getting my manicure that would be considered dirty or any outdoor activities. I scrubbed my nails with soap and water, and nothing budged. The white just discolored. I'm super disappointed that this manicure didn't even last me 2 DAYS before something went wrong. I will not be coming back nor do I recommend coming here to get the semi-gel manicure. I can't speak to the other services. It's been a week and my nails have turned into a nude beige color. I tried to preserve the white color by coating my nails in an additional clear polish top but that hasn't worked. read more

My most recent visit I was perfectly happy with my nails so the owner offered me to come back and get them fixed and I LOVE THEM NOW! Definitely worth trying out. I was really excited about doing dip powder for the first time. Normal gel peels right off my nails - I've tried several brands, locations, etc. All do the same thing within 48 hrs. Of course, one of my nails split right before I went in to get them done. The girl who did them for me, I believe her name was Sofia, applied glue over the split and then placed a tip on top of it. The whole process took longer than I had anticipated but, at the end of it I was really happy with my nails. They looked great. The next day, the nail with the extension glued on it started lifting off. I called and they said i could come in and get it fixed, no problem. So I made an appointment and went to make sure they could have time for me. Ana fixed my nail. She is FANTASTIC! I was also offered a neck massage which I did, didn't get the girl's name, but it was AMAZING. Several of the girls were giving these and they all looked like they were really great. I recently moved to LA and was looking for a good nail salon that does dip manicures. TNL is one of the only places in this area that does powder dip manicures - they do an outstanding job. I have been coming here every few weeks for about four months to get a manicure. I absolutely love this place. Coming here is always a highlight of the week for me. The chairs are so comfortable and the salon has a very relaxing ambiance. The nail technicians are professional and extremely good at their jobs. I've had several different nail technicians and was pleased with all of them, but Kahleen is my favorite and I request her now when making appointments. She shapes my nails exactly as I want them and does a near-perfect dip manicure, which lasts for 3 whole weeks without chipping or lifting at the nail bed. I found TNL on Yelp because I was looking for a dip powder manicure. This manicure is popular everywhere else in the country except Los Angeles, for some reason, and I'd heard great things, so I really wanted to try it myself. TNL is one of the only places near me that offers it. I really love this salon. It's always clean, nicely decorated, and the staff is friendly. They do nice work as well. There's a huge selection of polish, too! My dip nails lasted around two weeks, so similar to a gel manicure, but it takes less time to apply since you don't have to cure the polish under a light. The removal process is just like gel -- acetone on a cotton ball, wrapped in aluminum foil. I went back for my second appointment today after a trip to France and saw Vicky for my nails and Jenny for my toes. Jenny gives an amazing foot massage! And Vicky is super friendly. The only thing I've noticed about my dip manicure both times is that they could be a little more meticiulous. Rogue pieces of the dip powder remain on my fingers, which I usually pick off after the appointment. And they nail shape could be filed a bit more uniformly, so that they all look the same and that the dip isn't on the cuticle. Price-wise, it's more expensive that most. Today I paid $102 for my services: $35 + $7 tip for my pedicure (normal) + $50 + 10 for dip powder manicure + removal (I usually pay $35 plus tip for gel). I typically get my nails done every 2-3 weeks. read more

I'd definitely give this nail salon another try to give it a fair shot. Got an appointment the day of after a very very long week. Parking in the back in the lots in Beverly Hills so very easy. The place was comfortable and very quiet. I got a semi gel where it dries in 7 minutes and can come off with regular polish. I've gotten it before at another salon and loved the freedom of taking it off with regular remover. The woman who did my nails was very meticulous and careful so I appreciated that. She didn't cut my nails as short as I wanted but I find not very many people do. The price was also good compared to other shops. However, my nails chipped on the first day and half of them chipped within the week. One of them completely peeled off without me peeling it. I have been coming here regularly since my first time in June to get my nails done for my wedding. I have tried a bunch in the area after to compare but this is definitely my favorite. Everyone is so nice but the standout is the paint job which is perfect or near perfect every time. I am particular about them and TNL gets right next to the cuticles, and do not paint layers unevenly. I have found at every single other place I go to they will leave space near the cuticles and the uneven layers will give the appearance of ridges in the paint towards the edges. This seems to be a norm at other salons but it bothers me a lot. The price is great for Beverly Hills and they always have appointments available. My first mani here was a gel one which lasted 3 weeks without chipping at all. Since then I have only gotten regular paints which will last a week on my nails and a month on my toes. read more
