I showed them the picture of the cat eye with the gold French tip which was they said was chrome ( see last pic). I asked for the same look without the cat eye. They showed me color books to try with no success because they didn't have a base color that matched. At that point the Manager came over and said I had to hurry up because they were running short on time and they couldn't render all the services I asked for. I offered to come back another day for them to finish to give him the money but they didn't like that idea and they said that they could do it. What what was delivered instead of Gold is black looking French tips that look horrible the polish doesn't go all the way to the cuticle on the sides and in some areas the cuticles were not taken care of completely. I did point this out but it wasn't corrected. When I went to pay I said this is unacceptable. The manager and the person who did the manicure insisted that there was nothing that looked like black but what we can see in the pictures is that's not true. The manager was insisting that I pay for the service. I said they can take everything off and we'll call it a day. She said I still have to pay for the service and that would take even more time. I said I'm not gonna do that because now I have to pay for another salon to take this off. So she said fine just leave --there's the door. The stark change from her friendly demeanor when making the appointment. I do not recommend this place

The decor is simple and elegant. They have a menu of drinks to serve you (including alcohol). I enjoyed a bottled water and small cup of iced matcha. The technician was very kind, efficient, and provided a beautiful/simple manicure for our bump photos later that day. The service was also very reasonably priced!! I don't get manicures often, but next time I do, I'll be choosing Base!

Last night, not even a week since I got my full set my index finger broke off and I had to glue it back on with nail glue. I got my nails done March 6, broke by March 12 -- 6 days. Probably won't be back. Everyone was nice but I need my nails to hold up at leaaaaaaaast a week before my nails start breaking and looking funky, we pay too much money for half ass jobs.
