Service Requested - biogel removal and dazzle dry manicure. I had initially scheduled with Zoe, but she let me know in advance that she transferred to their other site and so I rescheduled with Dora another day. Showed good communication. Quality - Elena (sp?) did my biogel removal portion. Beforehand, I communicated with her that parts of my nails are sensitive to drilling, so she was gentle. She was considerate to just drill the top layer rather than drilling everything and soaked off the rest of the biogel underneath - so that it could be less drilling for me which I appreciated. Then Dora completed my Dazzle Dry manicure portion. They were closing early that day, but she still tried to take her time. She also explained to me that very thin parts of the biogel was best to leave there for now since the layer was really close to my nail to drill and therefore would drill directly on my thin nail -I always appreciate a little nail health education. It is day 4 now so far and hasn't chipped. The biogel I've had for the past few months is obviously much more smoother, cleaner, and prettier application and than Dazzle Dry lol but Dazzle Dry is a decent option for its staying power. Dazzle dry appearance looks more like a 3/5, like it's fine, nothing amazing but Dora and Elena as workers are 5/5. Vibe - was a busy Friday during rush hour before the holiday weekend, there were more clients than usual and they were closing early too. Another client called for an appt and came really late so she was turned away because it was nearing closing time. My advice would be to use the Fresha app and stick to the time slot you scheduled. read more

This was my second time at Bicolor. I booked with Kai and told him ahead of time what color and design I wanted. He completed the nail fill, but then got up and told me someone else would be doing the color and design. Kai left the salon not long after. The person who attempted to do the design was nice, but could not execute what I had requested. I don't know if she was training, but I would have appreciated being asked first. Ended up settling for a more basic design than what I wanted. I hope they address the lack of professionalism and don't do this to other customers in the future. read more

They also made sure to find out who my nail tech was, so they could address the quality of the service I received. I went to Bicolor Nails in Beverly Hills as a first-time client, expecting my nails to be built up with powder like I usually get. Instead, they just put gel on my nails without explaining, which didn't work at all since my nails are very thin. When I went back hoping they would stand by their work, they made me feel like they were resentful and that if I wanted anything fixed, I'd have to pay again. A few days later, the repair cracked along with two other nails. I returned again, was charged another $60 to fix them, and now they're cracked once more. They clearly don't care about keeping clients or ensuring satisfaction. The work is poor, communication is terrible, and they're not interested in how the job looks. This is their second location, and unless they step up and compete with the many great nail technicians in Beverly Hills, they're in for a big surprise. I won't be going back, and I don't recommend them. read more

Just left BiColor Nail Salon, and I absolutely loved it! The salon is so cute, it has a modern, clean vibe and is super aesthetic. High ceilings, very clean, NO polish smell, huge tvs, comfortable chairs. The polish color options are incredible (think cool mauves, trendy colors, jelly styles) I just got a pedicure and it was perfect. I will definitely come back for nails to get a gel design. I just went to Kai for Bio-Gel nails for the first time and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. My nails and cuticles were a mess and Kai spent an hour perfecting them. He was meticulous, soft-spoken and gentle. My nails have never looked better. The vibe in the salon was very relaxing. Clean, friendly, soft music, quiet talk. I've been going to TJ for my nails for almost about a year now. He's such an amazing talented artist and also great company to be around! I work in luxury sales and he TJ knows I have to go for plain Jane nails but he always spices it up with either different chromes or unicorn powders and I absolutely love them every single time. Hands down (no pun intended), Bicolor Nail is the best nail salon I've ever gone to, and TJ is the best technician I've ever had. I'll start with the salon, which is located inside the Salon Republic Beverly Hill location. His salon is incredibly clean and sanitary, and his products are all top of the line. I always feel very taken care of, and love the one on one personal care and attention given to me. On to TJ, the man is an artist! I basically go with an idea/theme of what I'm looking for, and he helps me with color, and nail art. I trust him 100% with his art, and the way he gives me mani pedis, is A++.
