The two ladies were really nice and hospitable, even getting us water and snacks. However, the nails were horrible. My sisters nails turned out good... only because she walked the nail tech through it and told her not to do things every couple minutes. I'm not as direct and bossy, so when I only told the nail tech not to do things a handful of times, they turned out awful. Not cute, not what I asked for, clunky, SOFT ACRYLICS, soft everything. Came here on a Tuesday at around 2pm, which means it was super slow and quiet in the Oviedo mall. The mall itself is a bit underwhelming, but there were enough things in it to keep me entertained for a few hours while my mom got her hair colored and cut at the Paul Mitchell School. Parking is not an issue at this mall, and neither are salons. They seem to have between 3-5 salons in the small strip of mall alone and 2 nail salons. While waiting, I walked through the entirety of the mall... Twice... And noticed that there were 2 nail salons. One that looked super "spa-y" and had slightly higher prices and Nail Elite. Nail Elite was a bit more expensive for gels but I ended up just opting for a standard manicure since the price was only $12 ($15 at the other place). There was only one other client while I was inside. Jenny did an amazing job with my nails and I had such a great conversation with her. She spent a good amount of time on my nails and did a fantastic job! read more

Let me start off with the good, because that's how the experience went for me. I called to make a reservation for my grandmother and I to get mani/pedis before my brother got married the next day. They were able to accommodate both of us when we came in for our reservation. My grandmother got a mani-pedi with regular polish, I got a mani-pedi with french. I really enjoyed the massage and the experience as a whole. My mani took significantly longer because I asked her to do a little design on my hands, and the pedicure took longer too because my heels are rough, and she was thorough. My mother ended up coming to get my Oma because she had been waiting for me ~40min after she was done. Very affordable. I don't think she charged me for the adorable design she did with the french, my nails ended up being $40 and I tipped $20, since I had $60 budgeted and I was just so happy with how they turned out. SO FREAKING CUTE. I got a lot of compliments. The girl did a great job on my manicure and my heels looked better than they had in years. And now for the bad...cue 1 month later TOE FUNGUS. On one of my big nails. Judging from some very unpleasant internet research, the timeline of the progression, the fact that this has never happened to me before, and that it's only one nail, I think it's safe to say that this is where it originated. When I explained where I went to get my nails done to my mother in law, she cringed and mentioned she'd noticed toe fungus on her own nails a couple years back from this same salon. I don't know what their policies are, but I will never be back. Now I can't go anywhere for a pedicure for who knows how long. read more

This is a review for Valentine's Day. I came in without an appointment and it was packed, yet I was seated immediately and asked what kind of nails I wanted. I don't consider myself a very girly girl so I was unsure of the nails and nail color. The gentleman that was doing my nails gave me a box of colors and told me to take my time. At first I loved the beige color but then decided on a color I'll call "Victoria's Secret Pink" for a gel nail. They were sooo beautiful and I loved the color, it stayed perfect on my nails for about 2 1/2 weeks- it was still beautiful and never chipped, except my nails started to grow rapidly. I'll definitely be back, and the staff are fantastic, friendly and patient. read more

We came here to Elite Nails and they accommodated us, laughed with us, went over and above in their service. We have a funeral tomorrow and this was a much needed bonding, good time. My husband and I went to this nail salon while we were visiting family in the area and were at the mall. It's a pretty good place! They mostly have OPI nail polish with a variety of colors. The staff was professional and courteous. They also do mani/pedi's for men too. They had a $30 mani-pedi deal which was great! I was happy with my nails too. I had been going for years, they do a great job. However, watch you receipts....they charged me twice on the same day - they asked me to swipe my card twice....I thought the first did not go through...but when I was monitoring my online CC account when I returned home that day - I found that indeed both charges were there. I took my CC receipt in the next day - with the two charges on it...they said NO we did not charge you twice - my CC company did refund one of the charges...but I had to cancel that card, and wait for the new one as well change any auto pays I have scheduled with this card I really liked this place and it behooves me not to be able to go back...because their lack of respect - HAD they apologized and said "ok, the next pedi is already paid" I would have continued to patronize this salon. My daughter has been here once before and had a good experience. She went yesterday and they made three of her fingers bleed. I went back to speak with a manager. Instead of apologizing and being concerned, he attacked me telling me that it "happens" and she was moving all around. I was shocked. No apology. No "I will talk to the woman who did her nails". Nothing. It ended with him giving me my money back and telling me I was the rudest person he had ever encountered the entire time he has been in business. I hadn't yelled. So I came in for a simple style and instead of the employee appeasing me on what I ask for, they became very unprofessional and in patient on what I was asking for, The employee told me that this would be their last time changing the polish, So I said if you can't create what I ask for find me someone who can employee became very snippy and told me that everybody is busy, and no one else could do what I was asking for. So I told her you can't tell a paying customer that this is your last time changing their polish, if I don't like how it looks I'm not paying for it and the design was very ugly and not polish neat. So I will definitely take my hard earned money that I work very hard for elsewhere and to an establishment who focuses on what the customer wants and not how the employee feels, after all this is how you make your money on giving the customer what they ask for and not an Inpatient Unprofessional Rude and Nasty attitude. read more
