I was very impressed with this nail spa. The owners took care of my friend and I and were both extremely friendly. The wife did my pedicure and she was so attentive to my feet and nails as I struggle with lots of dry skin and nails that break. She recommended the deluxe spa to really help with my heels, so I took up the suggestion. The only thing that probably could have been better was the massage, but I'm pretty picky. A week later and my toes still look great and I love the color I chose. They do have a rewards punch card so don't forget to bring it with you to each visit. I can't wait to go back! read more

Definitely do not recommend... he did not cut my cuticles... I left with residue all over my nails, one must have messed up as he was dipping the others and instead of fixing it he kept filing it down instead of starting that finger over, I could clearly tell they were ready to leave because she didn't clean my hands at the end with a towel or use lotion. I am new to Winter Springs area and I needed to find a nail salon that I can get my pedicure done without having to go on the east side of Orlando I checked online and found Luna nails and spa's and they had great reviews so I thought I'd give it a try I am not one for change but I thought I'd give them a try them it was a great experience due to the pandemic going on they had all the precautions to make me feel safe. While keeping their self safe. Amy was my pedicurist she was very friendly & was very good and gentle. In my opinion, Luna is the best nail salon in the Orlando area. For quite a while I found myself hopping from nail salon to nail salon trying to find one I liked. Every new place I tried either had terrible customer service (rude staff) or did mediocre work, or a combination of the two. After a while, I started to just accept that this was the way things were with nail salons, and I was never really going to feel like I got a good value for my money. I was talking to a coworker about my recent nail woes one day and she recommended Luna - gave them rave reviews. So I decided to check the place out. And wow! Seriously...wow! 1. The staff is awesome. The owner is so friendly - he will always greet you the second you walk through the door. And he remembers the regulars and really makes an effort to get to know you. I never got that at other nail salons. No matter how often I was there I seemed to get the cold shoulder. Not so at Luna. The rest of the staff follows suit. The atmosphere is so pleasant and you feel like a family friend. They even give gifts to customers around Christmas. Last I was given a full-sized bottle of wine. This year they presented me with a box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates. Just amazed at how these people go above and beyond for their customers. Stellar! 2. They do amazing work! The best pedicure of any place I had been previously. They even give you a mini hot stone massage on your feet. And the price isn't any more expensive than other nail salons. Actually, there were a little cheaper than some of the other places I had been. And you get a great pedicure for your dollars. Truly a great value. I used to live in the Winter Springs area. Recently I moved closer to downtown so I'm no longer as close to Luna. I tried a few of the nail salons over in my new area of town to see if I could find somewhere just as great and not have to make the longer drive. No luck. There is nowhere like Luna. My grandmother made an appointment for a regular manicure and asked the price before hand. They gave her gels without asking or telling her it costs more. When she went to pay, they charged her double of what they told her it will cost. It wasn't till they told her the price that they first mentioned they gave her gels. Never mentioned to her that she would have to come back to get it removed. She has very thin nails and I would never recommend her getting gels. They saw a old women and took advantage. When we went in to talk to the manager about what happened, no one seemed to care. I am very upset about how they took advantage of a senior citizen. read more

I went to Luna Nails for the first time on Saturday for a Manicure/Pedicure. The facility was clean and I was welcomed when I arrived for my appointment. I was asked to sit at one of the nail techs chairs. The nail tech was very pleasant. She spoke very little English but understood when I spoke. Overall the visit was average. I would have preferred to have my pedicure done first while soaking my nails. Because they did the manicure first she had to file the tops of my nails to remove the gel. I feel this weakens the nails vs soaking them. She did a very nice job in paining them but I don't believe she did a great job cleaning the cuticles. The pedicure was okay, not the best I have had and by far, not the worst. I wanted a design on my toes but after 2 attempts I asked her to paint them and we would forgo the design. After being a client with Luna Nails in Tuscawilla for over five years, I'm sorry to have to look elsewhere. I approached Moon, the owner, about a gel/acrylic application that was falling off after two days and she did not guarantee her work. I am very disappointed and surprised by her lack of concern and effort to try to resolve her mistake. $ 35 for the gel/ acrylic is too much money to last but two days. They have lost me and my family as clients. I will no longer recommend them. read more

Visited here yesterday as my first time. When I walked in I was greeted by what seemed like the owner. He asked me if I could make an appointment and come back as they were busy and booked at the moment. 2 hours later I came back to get SNS which I was told they had and it would be $35. A man took me over to his station and began removing my old polish off which was SNS aka my real nail by clipping them!!!! Which you never want to do with SNS! Not only does it hurt but nail technicians usually advise against clipping them! After I picked a color he grabbed nail polish that was labeled gel on it and explained to me it would be $55!!!!!! Which is high anyways for gel! I asked why it was so much and told him I only wanted to do SNS and that it's normally no more than $35 and he went on to tell me that their products are better than most salons....what? After that I told him that I changed my mind and just wanted to pay for the removal of my old polish before he started to add any new polish. A lady behind him overheard us and told the guy to show me a basket that they had that had SNS powders in it but there was only a few and none of them were the colors I was looking for. With that he seemed irritated with me and didn't understand why I wouldn't want gel or acrylic as he offered both services to me. So he had me soak my hands in nail polish remover to get the rest of the polish off after I told him the clipping hurt when he first started to try to remove the old polish. He moved me to the corner of the salon where I sat for 10 min until a lady took over to help remove the old polish. Then the lady had the nerve to ask why I didn't want anything else done! Visiting from out of state, and made a last-minute appointment. Couldn't have been treated any better! Had Ms. Barnes (forgot her first name, sorry!) for mani/pedi. She did a great job, great massages, hot rocks, hot towels, made my rough heels feel smooth again. Moon was also friendly and talked with me during down time. Just a very friendly atmosphere. Great place. Luna Nails does a great job on nails. I got the Gel nail polish which is BETTER THAN ACRYLIC. It was expertly applied and goes on like regular polish without damaging the nail bed like acrylic nails do. The day after my manicure with Gel nail polish, I started packing to move which meant scouring, scrubbing and packing, for two weeks. My nails still look as if they were just done.
