Walk in was quick and efficient! My husband likes to get his nails cleaned and gel too (only $20). I was able to show her a few pictures of what I wanted and the art turned out great! Staff is kind and receptive to design choices and helped me with the colors too.

I was recommended to come here by a friend and they did a pretty great job. It wasn't exactly what was asked for but it was pretty close to it. I rated it 4 stars and not five only because the person who did the nails had a bit of an attitude. Yet they did a good job though.

I walked in and asked for a simple manicure. I did not want anything fancy or spend anything more than $20 because I was more concerned about my cuticles than the color of the nail polish. The nail technician that I saw said it would be $12. I actually didn't want nail polish because I am enrolled in a dental hygiene program where wearing nail polish is not allowed, which I let my nail technician know. During the nail session, the nail technician brought over a few neutral pink colors and my rebellious self decided to go with a light pink one. I'm still under the impression it's still $12 and until she painted the clear base coat, she had my hand in the UV light that was labeled for gel nails. That's when I realized she was giving me a gel manicure and that was not what I wanted! I never mentioned anything about gel polishes, gel manicure or gel anything! I just wanted a simple manicure with a basic nail polish that I could remove later but I realized I got gel polish without being clearly informed about it. Maybe I'm new to getting my nails done professionally but I wished the nail technician could have told me she was showing me the gel polishes instead of basic polishes. I told her from the get-go about wanting a simple manicure and my concerns were about my cuticles, not about getting full on nails did because I can't have nails did :( I know I chose to get a pink color during our nail session so yes, I am asking for a polish color but I DEFINITELY didn't ask for gel. My unintended gel manicure with clear gel polish was $25 and they do charge $1 for credit card purchases. She told me that I can buffer it off at home or I can return back to get it buffered off. I feel like there was some miscommunication and being pushed on for extra stuff but let's see how my gel manicure holds up. My cuticles look great but again, I didn't want gel anything :(

Going to Nail Envy never leaves me disappointed I enjoy getting done my nails, pedicure & waxing underarms plus I tried waxing my eyebrows and the lady did such a great job I wished I could remember her name but so worth going. Even waiting is worth the while.

DO NOT COME HERE. The woman did not give me what I asked for, was rough with my hands, cut me multiple times, and laughed with her colleague about my nails in front of my face. Oh and it was 77 dollars... for that... save the time and money and go ELSEWHERE. read more

I Love coming here! Everyone is very polite and respectful. I personally go to Julie for my nails and Henry or Linda to do my pedicures. They have great prices and the salon is always clean and well maintained. Lots of colors, styles, designs. Basically I show Julie an inspo picture and she "nails" it every time! 10/10! read more

ughhh wish I didn't go here. I wanted to try a new nail place closer to home and I went in as soon as they opened. They were busy so I had to wait which was okay! After 45 min I was seated & had a gel mani/pedi done at the same time. the mani sucked. the gentleman didn't file or shape my nails.. after he painted them.. they were all jagged and he didn't paint the edges of my nails. he has long nails and kept squeezing and pinching my hand as he worked. I kept saying it hurt but i guess he didn't understand.. the pedi was ok but probably won't be back, so bummed read more

HORRIBLE I came here for a pedicure only because my son was getting his hair cut next door. Customer service is horrible. I waited over an hour to get a chair, then sat without a greeting or water in the pedicure bowl for another 30 minutes. workers are rude and did not ask me what type of pedicure I wanted. the person started doing gel and I said I did not want gel so there was an eye roll and she painted with normal polish. I was charged $30 and price at the front says $20 for a basic pedicure. I was not offered slippers when my pedicure was done and I left barefoot. I DO NOT. recommend this place, worst experience ever. read more

my nails where horribly done by the owner Julie . after letting her know how I felt, she immediately didnt care and blocked my number . us people work so hard for our money, to get a horrible job done isn't ok at all . I don't recommend this place. save your money go to a way better salon its not the first time this place disappointed me. read more

The worst nail salon n rude. I called in ahead of time for gel manicure & pedicure. As soon as I sat down the chubby lady grabbed my foot so hard I pulled away n yelled. She looked at me and said oh I wont touch then , giving me attitude. Anyways i get both n after paying $85.00 I asked for one more coat on my toes cuz I was not happy. The chubby lady looked at as if she was going to knock me out! She started n was hurting me on purpose I was about to tell them to give me my money back. This place is horrible. Warning: do not spend your money here you will not be treated good. I will never go here again. Chubby lady needs to find another job shes happy at! Maybe she can be a food taster she would be a happier person!! read more

I was able to make an appointment for mani and pedi the same day which was great. When I got there I had 2 people work on me which was also nice because it cut down on my time there. They were quick and I was able to get out within 1 hour. Color looked nice on both my toes and my gel nails. Unfortunately by the next day my nails were chipping really bad and by the following day I was able to just peel off my gel mani. Normally gel is hard to take off but all 10 of my gel nails peeled right off. Will not be going back. read more

I went to get a pedicure and just like other people have mentioned they let over people pass before me who got there after me. I didn't have an appointment neither them. I was waiting 40 minutes when I ask I'm going to wait longer because it's it I'll just go somewhere else. They said no you can sit on the chair already. I sat and it took them 20 more minutes to start my pedicure. My toes where done correctly but it was a bad customer service. read more

I LOVE LINDA!! She did such a great job !!! Went in with something different in mind but left BEYOND HAPPY!! I normally wouldn't do a red but she made it look so good with the butterflies and glitter! Paid only 55$ and couldn't be any happier. Linda will forever be my favorite!! If I could give this place a NO STAR I would. First and last time I go to this place. I called ahead to make an appointment, they told me come in 30 mins, so I did. Got there and made me wait another hour! Understanding the circumstances of covid, I decided to leave and came back the day after. WORST IDEA!! I waited for about an hour, they sat me down and took care of the girl who arrived later than me without an appointment! The nail lady asked if I was first and I said yes, she giggled, said sorry and still continued doing the other girls nails first!!! Short story long, I didn't leave that place until close to 4 hours later!!!!! What a nightmare! Worst thing is they kept on telling people to write their name and will be with them "shortly" how about you be honest with them and let them know they will take more than 3 hours to get to them! Waste of my time!!!! read more

I went to Nail Envy for the first time a few days ago and Julie did my nails. She did AMAZING. Not only was she extremely careful and took her time to ensure the perfect shape and application, but she also showed me the newest colors they received and was kind and accommodating. She definitely gained a forever customer! Best place I've been to in Ventura/Oxnard. As for the location itself, it's located right by a Starbucks which is always a bonus. ;) This facility is clean and professional looking. I definitely recommend it for you to try! :) read more

Love, Love, Love this place. A friends recommend Julie and I have been very pleased. I like my nails very thin with gel or acrylic and she does it with out cutting me. I also have had many pedicures by several people in the shop and have been very happy with my service. I went to another nail salon and person for many (15) years. But, she keep changing her price every time and also cut the sides of my fingers when filing way often. I had enough. If you go to a shop, any shop for the first time and have bad service or things are not what you want, remember you should give everyone a second chance. Nails done by Julie. Pictures speak for themselves. I nicely let her know I didn't like them and was still willing to pay as long as she removed them. She refused. She cut me many times to the point she used nail glue to try and stop the bleeding. Will not be coming back. read more

After a few days one of the nails popped right off. I went back to have him fix it and it was a huge mistake. He was so sloppy. Glued so much of my skin to the nail. Even cut me. It was so uncomfortable to get the glue off that was attached to the nail. It was a bad lesson learned as this is the first spot out here that I went to, just posting so others know this is definitely not the place to be. read more

I would give this place a 0 if I could. The workers obviously don't go by their scheduled appointments because two girls were seen before me and they had no appointments. I had my appointment and 10 AM and wasn't seen until 10:35 AM. Yes it's only a 35 minute wait but they should really respect clients appointments. I've been here three times and it's always the same thing. I don't recommend this place at all. Solar Nail & Spa is the best! They're located in Camarillo, CA. read more

I do not recommend . I had the worst experience with the nail tech closest to the door . Not only was she occupied on her phone ,she made 4 different fingers bleed . I left with 4 DEEP cuts and she said nothing . Along with her being rude . Charged me the same even though my fingers were in pain . read more

This salon has horrible service! i've gone several times and even with an appt, they take long to attend me. I went 3 weeks ago and asked if they were taking walk-ins and they said yes but i waited over an hour in a half and they just kept looking over at me and talking in their dialogue, but that was not what pissed me off. 2 girls showed up after me, with no appt but because they knew the workers there, they skipped me and thats when i got mad, grabbed my stuff and walked out. Horrible place, will not go there again read more

Not going back ever again. I was there right when they opened and I ended up waiting for about 20-25 minutes. And then the lady nail technician had the audacity to tell me I had "dry" hands (just because I forgot to 'moisturize' that morning). That's not a very nice thing to say to YOUR PAYING CUSTOMER. She was NOT very accommodating. Didn't really like her energy. Last but definitely not the least, my nails looked like it already need a refill even though I just got it done. I didn't get her name, but she probably looks the youngest in that salon and petite with shoulder hair length. P.S. I took these photos the day after I got it done while I was camping. read more

I got the Level 1 tier 45 min for $40 with callus removal with an additional $7. The basic pedicure was exceptional quality as it included a warm water bath, light scrub, general hygiene clip & clean up, light massage, moisturizer on feet & calves and a warm towel compress. The color options here are phenomenal as well and will have something for everyone including gloss & chrome. I probably could've done without the callus removal because although it helped, it didn't quite remove the volume of the callus so I probably would just take care of that over time on my own. I walked away the salon with a beautiful color, very well trimmed and shaped pedis, EXTREMELY smooth feet but not that much work done on my calluses. The level 2 pedicure comes with an extra pre packaged scrub. The level 3 pedicure (volcano pedicure) comes with an additional pre packaged bonus scrub with several steps of skin pumice and additional treatments/scrubs. Overall meets expectation with a flare of fine quality execution~

This was the first time I requested acrylic only on my big toes. It seemed like the technician might have been new. He didn't properly prep or cut the sides of the nail before starting. I asked for a tip, but instead acrylic was applied directly, and it went underneath my real nail. The application was very lumpy and uneven. I communicated that I wasn't happy with how it looked, and another technician took over. I explained what I didn't like, but instead of correcting the structure, she just applied more acrylic, making the nail thicker. My toe started to hurt, and she continued filing repeatedly. At that point, I asked if I could just pay for the portion of the service that had been completed because I wasn't satisfied with how it was being handled. She insisted she could fix it, but nothing was being corrected the way I requested. Color hadn't even been applied yet (she offered), but I didn't want polish over a base that wasn't properly done. My toe felt swollen, and I was still charged $35, which is the same price they charge for a full gel service. Considering the service wasn't completed properly and I left uncomfortable, I truly feel a refund would have been appropriate. I'm really disappointed because this is the first negative experience I've had here, but unfortunately, the service was not done correctly and left me uncomfortable. I won't be returning

This shop is AMAZING! I was hesitant to go to this shop because it was football sunday but my wife talked me into it. I went alone and still I felt very comfortable mainly because they put the game on for me. What more could a guy ask for...a pedicure, facial, and sunday football on a big screen.
