Everyone is nice and talented, and they always meet my expectations even with the random creative ideas I like to request. I been going here for a few years now but it's been going downhill with the customer service. They are nice people don't get me wrong but expect to wait there 20-30 to get your service even if you call and ask if they are busy. Then once they start working on you the work feels rushed. I went on my birthday and the lady I got was rushing so fast on my nails. I showed her a picture but she put the gems in random spots I was so disappointed and then when I mentioned that she put too much glue on the gems and it looked clumpy she insisted it was for them to stay on longer. The guy at the front preps your nails for you so that you don't leave if it takes too long for one of the nail techs to see you. I had an appointment for 10:00 AM and waited for 30 minutes to get my nails prepped by him. Then I waited an additional 30 minutes to be seen by one of the actual nail techs. She did a really good job, so I tipped $20 cash, and I even tipped $5 by card when the guy at the front charged my debit card. I got ombre on acrylic nails with matte finish. The nail shape was almond but slightly sharper. They came out great, but the matte finish started to come off at the tips of my nails just two days later. The guy told me to come in and they'll fix them for me. He had me sit with him and added two layers of matte finish to my already-painted nails. The extra layers made my nails look really bubbly and weird and took away from the pointy shape that I wanted. So now they look a lot rounder rather than pointy. He also left lines at the tips. He didn't even check to see if he did a good job "fixing" them. After the first layer, the tips were still shiny and not matte. I pointed it out, and he added more matte finish. I didn't think he was going to add multiple more layers of polish to my nails. I figured they would just add some to the top and blend it in. They look all puffy and round now rather than sleek and pointy. They looked better before I went to get them "fixed." read more

I just went there for the first time for a manicure and pedicure. It was by far the worst manicure and pedicure I've ever had in my life. The guy was rushing so obviously he skipped several steps. He painted by nails terribly. He filed them terribly. Overall, it was absolutely terrible. He has no care or concern for his work. They were not that busy, but they were busy, but that still no excuse. Other people with other technicianswere taking their time and seemingly had better experiences than me. But I was just unlucky. Unfortunately I'm so sad and unhappy with my gel manicures. I think the manicurist name was Kenny or Kony. They did a bad job where the corners of the nails are left unpainted. They look like when nails have grown a week and you already start showing the new nail. I wasnt going to say anything at first because I thought she was doing a big coat at end. So when she was done I said something and showed her the corners. She said she couldn't paint so close to the skin ? And that the bio gel they couldn't get all over nail? I was so confused so I upgraded to bio gel for worst ? I even showed another customer and she agreed. I never complain but it got me upset how they were so careless with how I feel. read more

I only came in to remove my GelX nails done from a different salon and receive a manicure afterwards with a clear coat so nothing crazy. But the entire experience was pleasant. I came right when they opened so I didn't have any issues being rushed, significantly long waits, or someone multi-tasking between clients. John greeted me and took care of removing everything. He was very careful and thorough. It's been a few weeks now and no issues with any infections or leaving with band-aids. I'll have to come back and update my review if and when I get a set, but will be going to John if I do! I also thought prices were fair and cheap, but this is me comparing to Irvine prices, so not sure what the average is in the 805. read more

Wanted to love this place and went 3x. The first time, the girl was really helpful and fixed a nail from a different salon. The second time was great as well for a manicure and pedicure. Today, our appt started 30min late. The water was cold, but they fixed it pretty fast. The nail book color didn't match the polish I chose so now I have an orange-y pink color. The tech seemed a little careless, especially when cleaning my feet with the tool and jabbing the sharp end several times. I finally said something which I usually never do. My friend's tech kept trying to upsell waxing which became a little embarrassing for her especially bc we go somewhere else for that. The salon also smelled a bit like a mix of rotten eggs and cleaners. We loved our salon in Los Angeles and since moving here, we haven't found one we love. I went in for a child's pedicure. The man owner said $28. While I was there I asked to have my daughter's toe nails cut shorter since she gets bad in grown toe nails and the lady doing her nails said no she's fine. Then when I paid the guy ran my card thinking with tip it would be $33. He didn't want to give me a receipt he said the printer for receipt would not work. Went home days later I checked on my bank account at they charged me $49. I called the store and spoke to the man and he started yelling at me saying that's the price. I told him it was a child's pedicure. And he kept yelling at me over the phone not understanding the charge. Don't do to this place they will not do a good job but they will STEAL from you. They say no receipt, make them give you a receipt. Rip offs. I would give them a 0 rating if they had it available. read more

I scheduled an appointment same day on New Years Eve for me and my two sisters. I got a acrylic set and my sisters got a pedicure. Walking in everything things was nice bright and clean. My experience was nice. My nail artist was Van. She was really nice and did her best to achieve what I asked for. I showed her a picture and she made suggestions on what would look best on me. I mentioned to her that I don't really like long nails as I'm not the best at functioning with them and she made sure to create a shape and size that fit perfectly with my small hands. She made light conversation and complimented my smile. If I were to come again, I definitely would book with Van. My sisters pedicure experience was okay. They did mention that it was very short than what they are normally used to when it comes to pedicures. Overall my experience was good. The nails are all lumpy, cuticles are sticking out everywhere, some nails you can tell polish wasn't applied all over the nail, the UV light was broken. Full set acrylic medium square nails with chrome. This work ran me 50ish minutes and 60 dollars. I came here because my friend had had a good experience with a sweet guy who did her nails a year ago. This person was not there today and instead she got a set by another man and I got a lady. First red flag, the girl who was there before me and got up from the chair to leave said "me las dejo bien feas," on her way out. Translation "She left them very ugly." I thought "Nah. Maybe she was just very picky." They asked me 3 times to pick a color when I already had picked a color. This is fine, they were short staffed and maybe felt like they needed to give me something to do. Next red flag, the lady who did my nails did not once ask me to wash my hands. She worked fast and did not hurt me at all but she left my nails so thick they barely look square. I've never gotten my nails done and had them come out like this. It's my first time getting square because it's sharp and elegant but this is literally making the square shape look like a cushion. She applied the chrome powder with her finger which was efficient but maybe not hygienic? Also her hands had open sores on her fingers. This lady was funny and sweet but her work looks rushed because it certainly is. I don't doubt she could do better. I'm more bothered because someone higher up in there is pushing quantity over quality clearly and I'm sure the tech I had is not in charge. Take your time with your clients, communicate. This place has the potential but I also did not tip because 60 for what I got was over priced and I did not feel like it was worth that. My nails look like duck tails. My friend also said the guy she got was not very friendly. The vibe was not amazing. The clientele were waiting for quite a while before being seen. A woman came in to get one nail fixed and asked me if there was any other nail place around... Unfortunately I did not know. Overall I will not be coming back. read more

Made an appt at 5 for a Friday. Waited about 15 in the chair. Eh ok it happens. The pedicure was ok. Nothing crazy but spending $60 you would think it would be way better. The massage was good but again, nothing to blow me out of the water. It is quiet in here so I appreciated all that. One of the things I personally hate when going to a nail salon is the woman yelling/talking in their language(I get it they need to communicate that way) but non stop is super annoying especially if I'm coming here to relax. I got my nails done here for 6 months straight. I always left loving my gel X sets. I would come with inspiration and they would always meet my expectations. After six months, I decided it was time to let my nails breathe, and I got them removed. Upon removal, my nails were grinded so far down that they were tender. I was flinching during the process and the nail tech didn't not change his process. I was shocked because I hadn't had an experience like this in between my gel-X sets.
