I've been to Nail Envy before and really liked the service and results of the mani and pedi I received. Troy is very personable and makes you feel comfortable. I had the gel polish and really watched as we were talking about the news and interests and he put 3 layers of polish, I love that! He does a really great job taking off the old polish and prepping the nails and skin around the nails (I tend to get like callous skin growing near the corners of my nails and have to trim them every 2 weeks.) Anyway, I just love how he puts the polish on, to really last (and I'm really tough on my nails). He did my nails a week before I had hip surgery in mid April and they lasted for 6 weeks, except that my nails had grown out. And the other young man did my pedicure and he too did a great job taking polish off, prepping and repolishing! My feet, I was most concerned about because, since my surgery, I can't bend over to do them myself. The warm water soak feels good, the callous scrubbing and the foot massage made my feet feel so much better. And I liked the smell of the lotion that was used on my feet and calves after. These guys know their business and do an excellent job and they are really nice. I highly recommend to give them a try! Had a great experience. Even though they were busy the wait wasn't long at all. They were very nice and very apologetic to customers that weren't happy and tried what they could accommodate them. My nail tech was super nice and friendly. She gave me exactly what I asked for just a fill no polish. She asked if I wanted clear gel polish. I searched yelp for a nail salon to take my mother for a mani and pedi for me near Stone Creek shopping center. I choose this establishment based on yelp reviews and proximity to where we were going to next. I called and they had room for the three of us ( mom, daughter and me) At first when we were parking- I must admit I was nervous. It's an older building. I believe the owner was the one who did my nails and he did a good job, what I didn't like is I asked for a design but it seemed like he didn't know how to do it. PLENTY of places near by with same or better quality. Every time I've come a nail breaks or gets damaged shortly after. The customer service is awful and finally pushed me over. Made appointments and show up to a wait time over 20 min. They blame each other and no one takes responsibility. The last time was today, old guy that appears to be the owner was just so disrespectful to me. He raised his voice to me in from of other customers and children. I called for an appointment, he said no openings today. I left my number to please call me if something opens since I'm 5 literal minutes away. He calls me saying to come in, I come in. After waiting 10 min I respectfully ask how much longer? He proceeded to yell, he doesn't need my money, he is doing me a favor etc. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. Also not sure if it's racially motivated considering that every time he makes me wait way past my appt times while providing service for an Asian person, I'm Hispanic with dark skin. Had a pedicure & dip powder nails done a few days ago on Thursday. Dip powder nails already chipping and falling off, told the guy I wanted tips but short and he didn't want to put them on like first of all who is paying for the service? Me not you. Cracked nail already. Hasn't even been a week. He pulled my ingrown toe nail from my toe but now my toe has an infection so their tools are most likely not sanitary. & my bf got a pedicure too with another guy who wasn't even wearing gloves or washing his hands. This place is gross! Avoid it here! Also when he was doing my nails and doing the cuticles with the tool it cut my pointer finger & it hurts a lot there's a mark! Came across this shop on yelp and I just moved to the area so needed to find a new shop. Scheduled an appointment was simple and easy through yelp and the response time was quick. T did my first set and he had a lot of knowledge with nails so I felt real confident walking away with my new set. Came in today for a fill, repair, and a color change and LT did an amazing job. First time doing a letter and design on my nails and all my anxiety pretty much went away. He took his time and gave me a heads up on the possibility of the letters not matching which I appreciate it. Overall i found my new shop and love the techs and the atmosphere. I stumbled across this place in yelp while I was staying in the area. Needed to get nails ready before heading to a wedding and found this in the area to have some great reviews. When I came in they automatically acknowledged me and asked me what I would like to get done and to pick a color. They had a nice selection displayed on the walls on both sides. The one thing I found kinda a downfall was that they promote they accept card and have a sign showing they accept card while having another sign saying they take cash only. Kinda confusing if you ask me. They do provide the prices on the wall right where the selection of colors are shown and the ambiance of the place feels feels causal and modern for a relaxing type of feeling. All in all, I say I would go back if I was back in the area. They did a good job cleaning and beautifying my nails before my event. All I would need to bring is cash the next time around but they do have an atm inside for your convenience. read more

Note: this review is only for the Pedicure service I received. I did not do a manicure. They do seem to be pretty good with designs on manicures! I decided to stop by this shop to kill some time before I met up with a friend. I Yelp'd this place and was excited to try for the good review i saw. But overall my pedicure service experience was okay. My pedicure was done by an older lady. They do have the massage chairs for pedicure but I did NOT think it was very sanitary that they didn't even put a bag for pedicure sink. I know other places i do, they cover it and change it out for each customer. Also I know some places sanitize their tools but here, it does not seem like that is the case. Additionally, I did NOT appreciate not being asked if I wanted a massage for an extra $3. Their classic pedicure without massage is $17 and with massage is $20. I know it's only $3 but I would have appreciated it, if I was asked. They also do take credit card but they do prefer cash. Store is located facing Swain Rd but the parking is around the corner. read more

I had the older lady while my friends had Troy, but my manicurist (I didn't quite catch her name) did a pretty clean job! They also accept charge with no minimum. Prices were reasonable (the manicures with simple design were $17 and the gel set was $34). Overall, pretty friendly and willing to work with you Cons: Won't be able to do very intricate designs, so I had to stick to only a few design options they had. If they are busy, they might take care of multiple customers at once (Troy simultaneously worked on the nails of my two friends). read more

I came here because of the highly rated reviews but I didn't have the best experience. I got a pedicure and the woman who serviced me was quite rough. From trimming my toes to scrubbing, it was probably the toughest experience I've had getting my toes done - I even bled on one toe. Plus, the equipment did not seem a hundred percent sanitized as she only sprayed alcohol over them.
