Wow very sad to report this nail salon is terrible now! Hon "Lynn" After six years of being a loyal customer, I am flabbergasted by the treatment I received from Lynn (Hon). She only works alone and she was charging me double!! . I had no idea until recently . She told me a few times my nails were black & dirty . Which is a lie I am very clean ! She asked me to do wire transfer for her to send over seas . Strange and super unprofessional. I refused . She would fan out lots of cash money infront of me and had her door open ! A lot of money and didn't care. Very weird and not safe! She said she was buying diamonds for $50K ! Super sketchy ! Also she never did foot or hand massage & would give me an old rag ... to wipe my hands and she acted like I worked for her!! Yet I paid close to double without knowing for 2 years! Found several nail salons that are SWEET & normal price ($56 and she charged $100 ) ! Plus they do way better & beautiful work! So grateful I figured out what she was doing / charging much more and left ! Do not go here. read more

The neon sign is on. Sign says open. there is a sign yes that credit card machine is down, however I had every other means of payment that the piece of paper was requesting. There was NO ONE in the establishment (client wise) and one person comes out from the back and asks what we are looking to get done, I reply a mani pedi and same for the person with me. She proceeds to tell me that she is super busy and to come back tomorrow. Flabbergasted, I just stared blankly and then looked around the empty place and repeated back confused....you're busy? She responded with yes I am busy come back tomorrow. I replied back with I can't come tomorrow hence why I am here now and there is no one here? Was given No other explanation so she just repeatedly kept saying I'm busy. If you are by yourself and can not take a client on say something more than 'I'm busy'. It is extremely confusing as a client who sees a business capable of taking on work and seems fully functional to just say I'm busy. I have never been to this place and I wanted to give it a try since I live very close by, and the one opportunity was ruined by the lamest exchange. I wish I understood what you were busy with, and as selfish as I am sounding wish you could explain that to me. Hope everyone else has a better experience than me. I'm sure they do because the pictures of peoples nails are what brought me there in the first place. Price is pretty good! Just be sure to speak up when they are doing the filing down near cuticles. My fingers are kind of cut up, but I know if I spoke up more they would be able to work with me. The technicians were very nice and apologized when they did knick me on accident. I think perhaps they were working too fast, but I'm happy with how my nails look! So having been here on multiple occasions since my initial review, sometimes with friends and/or signficiant other also hoping to get nails done, I am compelled to update my review. They kept passing my friend (walk-in) over in favor of walk-ins that came after her. One of the walk-ins given preference even spoke up about it but by then my friend was too upset to stay which as a result ruined other plans as she tried to get service elsewhere. What's more is these people assume that no one understands their DEROGATORY, RUDE remarks about the patrons they are servicing just because they are speaking their mother tongue. The skill offered is NOT worth putting up with their rudeness. Improper sealing on gel polish jobs compromising durability, pedicures not done properly resulting in painful ingrown nails, and uneven shaping have polished off the conclusion that we have to take our business elsewhere and recommend you do the same. read more

There were a few negative parts of this experience but I should lead with the fact I now have an infected toe. The nail technician dug into my toe, which was painful, and left it red and swollen. My guess is the tools were not sterilized either, given the infection. Smaller faults I would have looked past- the credit card machine was broken, I booked a pedicure for two, and only one staff was there when we came so it took double the time and she forgot to use base polish on my toe so now my nail is dyed blue. Terrible experience and also costs $35 for a pedicure. read more

I got a gel manicure. I got chrome on top which cost an extra 15 dollars. I spent $50 dollars on my manicure and it didn't even last 4 days. The gel started peeling off and I completely lost the polish on the multiple nails. Because the polish was peeling the nails kept getting caught in my hair. I do not recommend going here for a gel manicure because clearly there process is wrong as these nails if done properly should last 2-3 weeks. read more

I like how I can walk in here without an appointment and be served almost right away without having to wait. The staff is nice. The prices are reasonable. A regular mani/pedi combo is just $28! They have a good amount of colors. My mani/pedi lasted for at least 2 weeks before it started chipping. The only problem is that the parking lot is really small and cramped so it can be hard to find an open spot when it's busy. read more

The staff here is really great! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. I walked in a little earlier than my appointment was and got sat right down. You don't have to worry about waiting a long time for your appointment. Seems like they are on top of that. I got my gel manicure done by Van. He is so awesome, carries great conversation and did a great job. He is meticulous with his work and cleans up the nails really well. I cant remember who did my pedicure but she was great as well. This place a great nail salon. Only thing is I wish they had more colors and glitter gel polish. The parking lot is a little small, but don't let that stray you from having your nails done from here. Even after my manicure Van gave me a great massage with oil and lotion. It Felt great. Prices are reasonable. I paid $43 for my pedicure and my Gel manicure. My sister comes here, she loves the way Van does her nails! I'm super picky with nails, so she told me to try him! So I did! He did my nails perfect! The coffin ombré color was beautiful! I just need to get used to the long length as I am not used to too long. He took his time and did a great job! Every nail is straight, smooth and shaped right! I also got a pedicure too not by him but It was great too! The environment and the employees dont make you feel uncomfortable. Came in yesterday with my boyfriend for us both to get pedicures and a gel mani for myself. The process took 2 hours. My nails are unevenly filed, I can see dirt under my nail polish, and there's still some on my skin. It seemed like the manicurist didn't know what she was doing as the process took a very long time and my nails turned out sloppy. Almost an hour after my pedicure, my toenail was ruined. If the nail polish is too thick and no longer gives good quality paint jobs, the staff shouldn't use them. They were extremely rough with my boyfriend, and he had a painful experience. Dear Yelpers, The lady Laura whom yelped below is a crazy woman and I would've kicked her out of my business in a heart beat. I was getting a pedicure in the salon WITH AN APPOINTMENT and this annoying crazy lady walks in asking to get a color change and expects everyone to stop working on their clients, all with appointments. All the clients in the salon were annoyed AF from her being so rude and annoying. I would refuse business to clients of that manner but the salon employees were very nice to even help her out. It was easy to get an appointment. My friend and I were in and out quick . Gel manis and pedicures . They came out fine . My cuticles weren't all the way cleaned up but you get what you pay for . Pedicure was definitely better than the gel , but I would come back . I'm not too picky about those small things . It's also a small salon doesn't seem like they have that much staff. Amazing place! Lynn, Van and the entire staff are extremely friendly and do an amazing job on my nails every time! The previous comment from Laura was extremely unjust. She walked in without an appointment and was told they were extremely busy and could not accommodate her at that time. She still kept persisting that they help her. She was extremely rude and demanding. Personally I would have refused service to her but the staff here is so sweet that after all that, they still assisted her. Sooooo disappointed! A friend recommended them, so I thought I would give them a try. Huge mistake. It took 2 and a half hours for a manicure and pedicure. I had an appointment but had to wait a long time anyway. The pedicure was good but hard to relax with the woman on her cell phone next to me speaking loudly. When I said something, they said they couldn't help me. The gentleman who did my manicure was very nice but did a horrible job. Another nail technician tried to fix it. She did her best but it just wasn't great. I'll never get those 2 and a half hours back and I have to get them redone. Came there - they were like "oh your nails look kinda short we can make them look longer" I was like okay do whatever you want... then 20 min later I felt that there's some scam going on lol asked them how much is it gonna be - they said $40 !!! Do not go here. I went here over the course of a few months and got acrylic nails and pedicures because they were affordable. I switched salons because my manicures were complete trash. Uneven and rushed. My new salon almost didn't take me as a client because they said the chemicals on my nails from Q Nails were illegal and could harm their technicians. On my pinky finger the nail and skin had separated because of the illegal chemical and it has never grown back. My friend got a pedicure from here that gave her a toe fungus that took about a year to completely remove. Shame on you and your cheapness Q Nails. You're risking people's health by your laziness. read more
