WOW!! July 4th and they were open!! I called ahead and was seen as soon as I walked in the door. Steven greeted me and offered me a glass of wine or champagne- I had the Merlot! I was in desperate need of being pampered and they didn't disappoint. One of the cleanest most inviting nail salons I have ever been to. As I sat getting the most amazing leg and feet treatment EVER, by Diane, I was entertained by Steven sharing his life story with me. It felt as if I had been a life long customer and we were chatting as old friends. Diane was a hoot! I loved being pampered and talked to the entire time. It was so refreshing that the techs weren't speaking amongst each other in their native language (no offense meant) , but speaking to and WITH each customer, making their visit as unique as the individual sitting in their chair. They pulled out all the stops, lotions, hot stone massage, exfoliation with oranges and limes, moisturizing with honey, milk, hot oil....it was seriously luxurious! I'm going to update my review because Steve the owner took care of me. He messaged me after I posted my original review and not only did he apologize but he offered to redo my nails how I wanted them. I felt odd about going back but I was just so unhappy with my nails so I made an appointment for the following Sat. Steve was very nice when I arrived. He asked me what I wanted exactly. I told him I just want my natural nails with color. He had Tina redo my nails. I thought I would feel uncomfortable sitting there and having the powder removed but they both made me feel comfortable. I really appreciated him contacting me, offering to redo them to make me happy and checking on me during the process. He stands by his promise that he is there to make sure the customer is happy. Like I said before, the salon is very clean and nicely decorated. I told him when I was leaving that I would be back again and that this time I was very happy. My regular nail lady is on vacation and the rest of the shop is booked today, and I was desperate to fix my nails. I wish I waited rather than come here. I made an appointment for two manis and pedis for me and my boyfriend. I asked for the deluxe pedi for both of us (additional massage, callous remover, mud mask, and hot towel). It was said to be a 35 min service, but I felt like they barely put lotion on my feet before she was moving onto my mani after only 20 mins. My boyfriend, however, had a full service. I figured my lady forgot I wanted deluxe and, in her rush, gave me a regular. Then after my boyfriend's pedi finished, the lady left. No one came to do his mani. They again rushed to the next person leaving him hanging. When moving onto my mani, my lady continued to rush and did the roughest filing I ever had, kept messing up the gel mani, and needed to file it down to start again. Now, my nails are so over worked, feel like sharp knives for nails, and they still charged me for a deluxe pedi. I am not the arguing type so I paid, left, and was so thankful I already have my go-to spot because this seems like a definite hit or miss place. Here... your final product depends entirely on who you get but poor quality service is a standard. read more

I was in SD for the whole weekend and Monday and really needed to get a new set of acrylics done on my nails along with a mani/pedi. So my girlfriend referred my to this new nail salon, Nail It & Bar, that just opened and this is her new spot to get her nails pampered apparently. So I was able to squeeze in for some pampering yesterday at this salon before I headed back home. Pro: -The manicurist did a beautiful job on my point-shape acrylic full set on me. Her skill is perfect and I'm so happy with her work -The pedicure was so nice and relaxing. The mask that they used, on my feet and bottom leg, made my skin so smooth and soft. -The place is clean, beautiful, and modern. -Service here is so friendly and they attend to your needs to the tee. Along with serving you with many selection of beverages including wine. -They even play old classical music which helped me relax which added to my full experience here. Con: -The salon is too far from where I live I wish I lived closer so I can get pampered here more often but, I definitely will be coming back when I'm back in town. read more

I had my first dip powder mani done yesterday and I'm so in love with the results. It wasn't the color I thought I chose from the samples, but Tina did an amazing and efficient job. While she was amazing with her technique I have had past bad experiences with dremels, and prefer hand buffed nails. I stumbled on this place a few months back while walking by. I had been wanting to try a new salon and it seemed really nice. I've now been going there exclusively since the summer and I always leave happy. Tin does my nails and he always does such a good job. He works really hard to get the specific shape I ask for and is always professional and on time. I've been here several times and always left feeling "meh." Most recently I was extremely disappointed. To start, this time I opted for the least expensive pedicure option that included callus treatment - $30. The tech asked if I was sure I didn't want the more expensive options and I reiterated that I wanted the $30 option. Horrible pedicure. I basically paid $30 for a polish change. They could say they did the callus remover on a technicality, but they just rubbed the teeniest amount of remover on my feet and then put my feet into the water to clean it off. I have just as rough feet as when I arrived. Even more obnoxious, I recently lost a toenail...like, I am completely missing it. Even though I told the tech, she still tried to use the cuticle trimmer on it, used a nail file on it, and PAINTED MY TOE SKIN. WTH. Anyway, I'll be finding a new location to get these services done. Other things to note, another tech came over and put her face right into my newborn's face...I was not thrilled at her lack of awareness of giving babies personal space. Also, even though they are a "bar" they did not offer me or anyone else who was with me any refreshments at all. read more
