Lina had a great solution and did an amazing job matching it with an acrylic extension--you can't even tell in the photo. That said, if you're in a similar situation, I'd recommend asking for Gel-X instead of acrylic. The acrylic ended up feeling loose and didn't hold well, so I had to come back before leaving for a trip. To their credit, Sunny Nails squeezed me in the very next day. Another technician quickly assessed the issue, removed the acrylic, and replaced it with Gel-X (a full, strong nail--not just a tip). The result was flawless--she shaped it beautifully, and I was able to enjoy my trip with perfect nails. The only downside was the experience during the fix. The technician seemed frustrated, didn't respond to my thank you, and abruptly turned off the blue light and walked away without acknowledgment. It felt a bit uncomfortable--especially since I had already paid extra for the initial service and had to come back. Overall, they made it right, and I appreciate the quality of the final result--just wish the customer experience during the correction matched it.

Never had one problem at all at the salon. Today I had an absolute awful experience. I don't know if Linh is not experienced in Gel-X fill (she didn't even clean underneath my fingernails at all and they came out all lumpy) or she just had a bad day. Automatically she was in a bad mood the minute I sat in her chair. She had on a "stank" face and the way she spoke to me was extremely rude (what did IIIIIIII do to you??). No big deal I thought, everyone has a bad day! But then she proceeded to do my nails and literally made almost every single one of my fingers bleed! Like blood was coming out! Coming to the salon should be relaxing, but she made me stress out so much that my hands started shaking! Couldn't enjoy the pedicure that I was getting done at the same time at all!!!! I'm including a picture, and mind you that's after cleaning up all the blood. And it's only my left hand, my right one is worse!!! I've been trying to find a nice place that actually takes their time when providing their services and this was definitely the place. I had two older ladies who helped me out with my manicure and pedicure. I got a regular manicure and did the volcano pedicure, it was definitely worth the upgrade. They use all the products within the package. It's not your standard stuff, they also have a cobi package available. If you're debating they show you the packages and you can see what you'd get! Overall, I am very happy with my experience. I love finding little hidden gems and this place was definitely it. It was also very extremely clean which was so great to see. I know lots of places get busy and forget about the overall look, not this place. Their prices are also very fair. They have manicures ranging from 20-52 depending on the type and if you want gel. For pedicure I believe it goes from 30-72, again depending on the type and if you want gel. I will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone here!
