I went in for my first appointment last week. My nails turn out the way I request. I mention I like thin layer and almond shape. I don't understand much about gel and powder. I was looking at gel colors selection. Then she remembers our conversation and reminds me powder will give me a look I want. My nails came out perfect. I receive many compliments for the look. Although I am bothering the fact, they helped out the guest who ran late first. She was 20 minutes late, and I was 10 minutes before my appointment time. I arrived 5 minutes prior she walked in. I ended up waiting 10 minutes when the staff was available. She received the service right away. It is frustrated to feel like someone cut off the line. If you are picky, be specific so he does it just the way you want. Don't be too shy to tell him you've changed your mind or to change he something, he'll happily do it! He took off my old set of nails and put on my new set of French tip nails. He made them short like I asked for and he was friendly and answered all of my questions; he even told me about their Instagram page! Vincent is the only person that does my nails and I will never change my mind. They are usually flexible in the day time, come after 4pm and your chances are slim with him. What a friendly nail salon in a convenient location! These folks, no matter who you get, are gentle, fast, and accurate with their work. I've done everything here from regular pedi/mani, gel, full sets, all were done right each time. I take my daughter here with me and she loves it. If I could give 0 stars I would! **A better recommendation for anyone looking for a good nail salon with great service is Happiest Nails in Oceanside off of mission Ave. you're welcome Extremely rude customer service, anytime I told him I wanted a design they would say no and do what they thought would look good, no common courtesy or even simply making the customer feel comfortable. They were shaking their head, clearly talking negatively about their customers, when really everyone else should've been upset with the treatment they got from this place. I've never been to a salon that charges so many extra made up fees to make more money and rip people off. * $5 extra to cut cuticles ( as if a manicure service doesn't include that) so bizarre *$5 extra to have more than one solid color on your nails *$5 extra to remove gel (even though you're getting gel done again ) * $2 extra to use your card (when the real charge is $.35 literally everywhere else) Talk about upselling to make money savagely from paying customers. I thought this place would be my go to from now on but I'll pass on getting robbed $17 extra every visit. This is so absurd !! And to really top it off you guys are rude as hell here!! Instead of gaining 3 return clients they chose to add all these extra fees and give horrible service. Will definitely not be returning nor recommending this sloppy salon to anyone. read more

Just got a pedicure with Sari and she is so rude. On top of being rude she made me file my own toe nails after I asked her to straighten them out. She trimmed my nails and didn't file them so they were uneven. It wasn't an unusual request. It's natural to file after trim. read more

Requested natural looking nails so lady who did my nails used powder on my natural nails. Two weeks later my nails started growing out and they started hurting. If common courtesy and customer service is important to you then do not go to this salon. They are completely lacking basic customer service skills to the point it is painful to experience and watch!! I showed them an inspiration photo for a very basic set of nails (four marble nails), asked if would be able to do it and if they couldn't I was completely fine with choosing something else. Two women assured me they can do it. When it came time to do this, it looked like she had dipped my finger in betadine rather than marble. Another guy came over to try and help her, then he noticed she had let nail dust stick to the finished 6 fingers since she did not wipe off the final sticky layer before filing the marbled nails. He began to fix her work, meanwhile she is telling him to use acetone to get it off and he is explaining that will not take it off- just pure sloppiness at this point. He begins painting my nails white and trying to do a marble brown over the white which was nothing close to the picture. At this point my appointment has dragged on for 4 hours, something that was supposed to be enjoyable and relaxing has done the opposite. I thank him for trying and tell them it is fine, just convert the four fingers left to be the same color solid color. About four of them begin talking in their language, the guys who is doing my nails is shaking his head, and at this point they have made an uncomfortable situation even more uncomfortable. Completely awkward while he goes through to fix the other woman's sloppy work and to convert the four nails to green and three woman hovering and talking the entire time. I go to pay and suddenly there is $5 more for cuticle trim for my dip, $5 more for removing the gel I had on, and $2 fee to pay with my card. All I could do was laugh at this point. At no point did anyone apologize, I mean I should have been the one shaking my head and frustrated not them! I will never return to this salon! Awful service and awful staff. Her is a picture of what I wanted, but instead I left with a full dipped green set when the only reason I chose this is because of marble on the other fingers. read more

I enjoyed getting both manicure and pedicure from Nail It & Spa. The techs are super friendly and courteous. They take their time carefully working on your nails to make sure it is perfect. -- Perfect shaping, color, extra layers, and length. No cuts, no injuries. Just perfect, the way you like it. Best, I don't have to worry about my nails chipping and it would last about 3-4 weeks until my nails grows out. With that, I've been coming back for more. Walked in this afternoon with a friend for a two pedicures and a gel manicure for myself. We were seated right away at the massage chairs and I placed my toes in COLD water. For starters the hygiene of this establishment is questionable. Multiple women neglected to wash their hands in between client pedicures. Lack of attention to detail and had to ask multiple times for the same length for each of my nails.
