Lana is highly skilled and pays a lot of attention to the structure of the nails. They always look thin, elegant, and natural instead of thick or heavy. When I asked where the charge came from, I simply wanted an explanation. Unfortunately, Vincent was very unprofessional and rude when I asked about the additional charge. Customers should be able to ask questions about their bill without being treated disrespectfully. I expect clear communication and better customer service, especially when there is confusion about services that were requested versus what was charged. I hope management addresses these concerns so future customers have a more positive experience. On a positive note Helen did great on my manicure! In response to your response: I never attempted to not pay for the service, I started with "I'm going to pay for it, but I am trying to understand where it was decided that I was going to get a pedicure." You immediately became defensive and offered a snappy and rude response. I never agreed on a pedicure, even at that, all I came to you with was trying to understand where this extra service was added on. The receipt you provided at the start totaled out to $110, when I was done the final cost was $175. I asked how much a pedicure was you said they start at $35. I said I did not wish to proceed and I only wanted gel. Regardless of the price difference all I asked for was a professional explanation of what I was being charged for. I came in for an acrylic fill and pedicure and showed a reference photo of the cat eye nails I wanted. The owner immediately told me they couldn't do cat eye, so I agreed to switch to chrome instead. When the chrome was applied, it wasn't visible at all. I mentioned that I didn't want to pay extra for chrome since there was no noticeable effect. At that point, my nail technician told me they actually could do cat eye and brought over another technician to do it. Unfortunately, the finished nails looked nothing like the inspiration photo, but I accepted that and was ready to move on. The problem came at checkout. I was charged an additional fee for both gel and cat eye. I politely asked the owner to remove the cat eye charge because of the confusion and because the final result wasn't what I requested. Rather than taking any accountability for the miscommunication, he argued with me, talked over me, and insisted I pay the full amount. I've overlooked imperfect nails in the past because everyone makes mistakes. What I can't overlook is poor customer service and refusing to take responsibility for a situation the owner created. After years of being a loyal customer, I expected much better. Unfortunately, because of how I was treated--not because of the nails--I won't be returning.

She got super glue all over my fingers, and even her gloves were sticking to my skin and nails from the mess. At one point, she actually dozed off and burned me with the drill bit. I immediately said, "Oh my gosh, you just fell asleep!" I repeatedly asked--at least five or six times--to have someone else finish my nails, but my requests were ignored. Instead of making things right, I was forced to sit there for nearly two hours while my nails got worse. I walked out crying on my birthday. The quality of the work was awful, but what made it even worse was the complete lack of customer service. When a customer is clearly unhappy and asking for another technician, the salon should listen instead of refusing. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this salon based on how I was treated.
