This was probably one of the worst gel nail pedicures I've ever had. And they WAY overcharged. Basic gel is $45.. that's what I got on my toes.. they charged me $55.. bio gel is $55 that's what I got on my hands. Two diff people had to do my service ( which originally it was only one.. and because she did such an awful job had to bring in someone else). This other person argued with literally every single request or comment I had.. with MY nails. I'm so unhappy. My nails weren't even painted right. Everything is out of the lines, it's streaky, it's bubbly .. I mean it's just awful! And all I wanted was for it to be pretty for my birthday this weekend:( I really want a refund. This place is meh. The only thing this place has going for them in their location and interior decor. It's clean, I will give them credit for that. I came in on a Saturday morning, I made an appointment for 10:00am. It was SO hot inside? Almost like they were not running the AC, super uncomfortable. Around 10:30am I was still sitting there waiting for someone to start my nails. I finally asked how much longer. They started me after I asked. I don't understand why they had me waiting for over a half an hour. Complete waste of my time. I wanted to change the shape of my acrylic nails, I was told there is an additional charge for shape change. Ok.. my nails are finally finished. They did a good job, I am happy with them. However, Maya burned me so much with the drill. I have never experienced so much burning! I was VERY disappointed with this place because 1. I had my appointment at 9am and they made me come back at noon because no one was available. I was very understanding and not bothered by this at first but then they used the wrong color of gel. I chose a pastel baby blue color and walked out with sparkly turquoise color after multiple layers were added. To add, their menu clearly says "$20 for acrylic fill + $5 gel top coat". I came in for a fill and they charged me $35 as if I was getting a NEW pink + white set. The regular new acrylic set doesn't even cost that much. 10/10 would NOT recommend this place. Coming to Nail Luxury was an absolute delight. Hannah gave me a mani/pedi, and the whole experience was one of the best ones I've ever had at a nail salon. My gel nails look incredible, and she had such a shining demeanor that made it a pleasure. Her brief massages were quite good as well. If you ever go, book it with Hannah if you can! She's also an excellent saleswoman- she talked me into a callus removal that I definitely do not regret (baby soft feet!). I have a love/hate relationship with this salon. I love the powder dip nails. I don't however love the inconsistency of how it gets done here. One time it's great, next time it's a botch job, crack, lift, lumpy, break. They charge more than anyone else & they don't like to guarantee their work. The Manager is a nightmare to be around. She's so rude. Makes uncalled for comments that leaves one feeling uncomfortable. I had one set of nails that were faulty, the girl who did the dip didn't do it right. I went back & after fixing, the Manager tried to charge me again. Another time the girl tells me she needs to attach a tip to make my nails even. I said ok. Never once did she say it was going to cost extra. You don't find out about it until the end & you want to pay. I don't understand how this Manager hasn't been replaced yet. I was looking at reviews & I'm not the only one who has this same complaint about her. She's flat out rude !! I need my nails done & Im going to find elsewhere because of this manager. She's also rude to the technicians working there, rushes them, orders them about like they are HER slaves. Very uncomfortable. At first, I thought the Manager was the owner, surely no Business Owner would have such rudeness running their business but when I asked the girl doing my nails. She said she was the Manager, not owner. Manager racks up hidden extra charges & then demands cash? If I was the owner, I would have red flags popping up all over the place. And with as many complaints as I have seen on Yelp. The fact that this Manager hasn't been replaced yet, maybe the Owners don't care how their customers are being treated. read more

I really appreciate a nail tech that takes her time and takes pride in her work. I will say, I did have my nails done once by another girl and I wasn't a huge fan. She did okay but Hannah is my girl. I have mixed feelings about this place. My first time here, a little over a month ago, I scheduled an appointment for dipping powder and a pedicure at 5pm on Friday. I drove out of my way to come check out the salon and the raving reviews. Upon entering, it's a beautiful salon. Clean, pretty decor, tons of colors to choose from and just overall welcoming. I was told to pick out a color and someone would be right with me, this is while there were 2 other people waiting before me for services. Every spa chair was taken so I waited a good 15 minutes. The receptionist (perhaps the owner) is very good hostess, she kept checking in on me and letting me know it's almost my turn. I watched a woman walk in with what appeared to be a broken nail and they took her right in, I understood that she had been there a few days before so they were repairing her nails. Except she ended up doing a brand new set, taking over an hour. It was now 5:30 and I had been seated on a spa chair soaking my feet until someone came to do my pedicure. An older gentleman came and started on my pedi-no one has touched my nails at this point. At around 5:45, a girl finally came over to get the process started in removing the existing dip powder. I sat there with foil fingers for about 30 minutes until finally the girl that was repairing the broken nail started on mine. At this point, I'm tired and I just want to leave, and so does the nail technician. I didn't leave until 7:30, that's 2.5 hours for a pedicure and dip powder. Not okay. But I decided to give them another chance because the end result of the dip was pretty good, not great though. My second visit was just 2 days ago and when I called to make an appointment, I kindly asked them that if they are going to be short staffed again, that was their excuse the first time, to please let me know ahead of time so I can reschedule. I was reassured and told it would never happen again. This time I waited 15 minutes before someone started on my pedicure, that's acceptable and normal. I waited about 25 minutes before someone started on my nails. What I realized is happening is that they are over-booking their appointments and causing the nail technicians to rush. The girl doing my pedicure was so flustered, she cut my toe while cutting my cuticles and it bled for a while. She didn't do a good job scrubbing and did a really job applying the top coat to my toes, they are uneven on every toe. The girl doing my dip powder was also rushed, many times letting the mechanical buffer slip or letting it rest too long on my nail and burning. Again, mixed feelings. read more

This place is AMAZING. Emma was my nail tech and she was fantastic. I came in with hesitation because I just got my gel nails done at another salon and they came off 5 days later. The receptionist Diane was very sweet and promised me that if I tried the dip gel I would love my manicure and it would last. I'm excited to see if they last as long as bio gel! So sooooo disappointing. I've been coming to this nail salon for a couple years and I will not be returning. First off I had scheduled appointments for my friend, her daughter and I to get mani/pedis. We ended up having to wait for over 30 minutes past our scheduled appointment time. What is the point of making an appointment if you have to sit and wait that long?? Second. My friend and I both requested the bio gel, which has worked the best for me and lasted the longest. Except, I received a gift certificate for my birthday for a different nail salon, tried it for the first time, loved it! So we request the bio gel and right away for some odd reason several of the ladies working there especially the woman at the front desk start hating on the bio gel. Super weird right?? We go ahead and get the bio gel anyway. It's been less than a week and several of my nails are already peeled off and the paint on my toes are chipped as well...not cool. I paid $85 plus tip. I expect to get at LEAST 2 weeks out of them before I start to see any damage ESPECIALLY for paying $100 or more. I mentioned this to my friend today and she too is not happy with her experience. She requested tips with bio gel and she already has two broken nails! Her nail technician was quite rude and seemed to be struggling with the process. Her nail tech took SO long on her nails by the time she was done she didn't have time to get her pedicure. By this time we had already been at the Salon for almost 3 hours! We were over it. Her nails looked terrible and yet my friend still tipped her nail tech. We just wanted to get out of there. Now I feel awful because I'm the one who made the appointments and brought my friend to this place where she wasted her hard earned money. I've always enjoyed the chill environment and nice people but apparently things have changed. It's quite sad and disappointing. I hope this review helps them improve there services. I was very offended by the way they treated me here. I brought my daughter who is 2 whom I have been bringing since she was a new baby and she sits if my lap colors has snacks or I talk to her. We both enjoy ourselves and right now if I want to go anywhere she has to come with me. Well today when I started they had me sit down at a booth and the technician gave her a chair that swiveled. She sat on still on the chair without standing or playing around but the owner came over to me and kept harping about how the insurance if she starts to play around would cost her so much. She must have said it like three times Nothing was even happening and they gave her that chair. I felt like I she wasn't welcome there at all because they didn't want her on the chair and didn't want her on my lap. After that she sat on my lap and yes she was a little squirmy but nothing excessive and she stayed on my lap not bothering anyone. At the end the technician told me it was too difficult with my daughter and the owner told me how the technician was complaining about how she missed out on other clients because it took longer with me. We were still out of there in under an hour. The owner and technician were not very tactful with their delivery and were really bashing on my parenting style and my daughter. In the end they said not to come back. For a place that looks like it caters to kids with the butterfly chairs they are very intolerant and judgmental. They don't care about loyal customers and are always harping about how they want cash instead of using any type of card which is annoying. read more

Stopped here on a Sunday morning. It's a beautiful salon - nice and quiet too! I received the classic pedicure and couldn't be happier with results. The sweet young lady worked quickly, but didn't rush like the usual places I go. She even gave me an amazing foot and leg massage that lasted over the usual 5 minutes...Loved it! Price is reasonable.
