I don't know why this salon has such low ratings! I'm here to tell you that I had an absolutely lovely visit! Check-in was a breeze, and they even offered a loyalty program. I went with my girlfriend first thing on a Saturday morning. It's a busy location because they're good! They don't take reservations, so go early! I opted for the most expensive pedicure package with all of the bells and whistles. My pedicure package included hot stones, hot towel wraps, about 4 different massages, lotions, etc. It was super relaxing and the technicians were friendly. Everything was clean and sterile. They used all new tools and foot tub liners for the pedicures. I opted for a gel pedicure with a cool purple and black metallic streak that is obtained from using a magnetic wand. (Chrome nails?) It's truly stunning! I felt funny about posting pictures of my feet for this review, but you get the idea! There's something for every budget at this salon. Don't skip the self-love, ladies and gents! (And yes, there was a surprising number of men getting pedicures. So, bring your man along!) Overall, I am looking forward to my next visit. The new Nail Max location is STUNNING! As soon as I walked into the newly renovated/new location, I was IN AWE! Tracey greeted me immediately, and I was a walk-in today. I recommend the new botanical herbal gel polish pedicure, with hot stone massage! Plus I was fit right in for a gel manicure afterwards! I don't know how ANYONE could give Nail Max a bad review, but I guess you can't please everyone. I think it helps that im very easy going, and not too demanding. I really didn't want to leave. I was given not one, BUT THREE massages! One by the pedicure tech, one by the pedicure chair, and my nail girl, Vanessa gave me one before I left! Vanessa is a doll! She even ran to the front with 2 of my VERY EXPENSIVE rings I mistakenly left on her desk!!! I just love these ladies! Tracy is just the sweetest woman ever. I hope 2024 brings her nothing but more success than she has ever had! I was offered many different pedicures to choose from, and of course I choose the best for $80 because I AM WORTHY OF BEING PAMPERED, And boy-oh-boy was I pampered today! I keep coming back to Nail Max Mentor because THEY TREAT YOU SO WELL! I spent roughly $130 on feet and nails, and it was worth every penny! I have to say something about a review I saw, it's really bothering me, as I have NEVER experienced what she said. No one was rude to me! I don't get how someone can say that! They bounce you around from one technician to another ... and is there really $5 tax on a $70 service?

The quality of work was okay, but the over all service was not good. They are racist and charge made up prices. They have in writing French is additional 6 but charged me 15. I feel the service they provide their black customers is different from other races. read more

I went with my daughter for the first time. We didn't have an appointment. We waited a while to be seen which we didn't mind. We were in no hurry. They had 7 people out on vacation and handled it very well. Everyone was very nice. The place is beautiful and clean. We were both happy with our nails. On the way out they gave us cuticle oil and a travel mug! We told them it was ok and they insisted. What a sweet gesture. We planned on going back even without the sweet gifts. Amazing salon. I first started coming here a couple years ago when they had their smaller location. Since they've upgraded to their new building, it's beautiful. They're always super friendly. Never had a problem coming here. They always do an amazing job when I get nail dip or a pedicure. Yes it usually is pretty busy. So always try and schedule and appointment or just don't expect to come in and get seated right away. read more

I got my nails done here a few days ago, and the quality and time that the nail techs spend with you are unparalleled. I got a gel manicure French tip with 3 to 4 different colors which they facilitated super well. It was so busy on a Saturday that all seats were taken but they were able to let me in. I did have to wait several minutes because everyone was busy but they apologized. I also feel like the price of the nails were very fair! I was charged 27 four base gel +7 dollars for design and extra colors. Will definitely come back again! read more

I'm love Nail Max and will never go to another nail salon. I have been coming here for 3 years (with recommendation from my Mom) everyone here is so friendly and they all do a great job. They care about your nails looking the best they can. Also, the pedicures are the best I've had. They actually take their time and allow you to relax. You don't feel like they're rushing you to get to the next guest. I would recommend an appt to be seen timely as they are busy -obviously because everyone knows they do amazing work. It was my first time going here yesterday, BUT THANK GOD I left. We went in for a simple manicure and pedicure. They told us 30-40 minutes. After waiting an hour, I go back in to ask "How much longer" When they tell me again "5-10 more minutes". That was BS!! We waited another 20 minutes. I decided to leave and go to another salon. if I could give a 0 rating I would. My daughter and I went their for a birthday gift to each other. it was horrible for both of us. We both got a pedicure and a manicure. Treated very curt and was not relaxing in any way. Felt like we were an inconvenience. Paying 155 dollars for this. What a waste of money. To top it off our toes and fingernails were all uneven. did not ask me how to shape my fingernails. I do not like square which is what was done. I am now refiling all my nails. Was pleased they were able to take 3 of us for pedicures with little notice. My husband got an amazing pedicure and the lady was very thorough with his foot massage.That was the good now onto the bad...Mine was terrible. The guy doing mine barely touched my feet, he focused more on rubbing my calves. I kept wondering when he was actually going to massage my feet and it never happened. (Every other pedicure I've ever gotten came with at least a brief foot massage.) 3 days after pedicure and my feet are rough and dry and other than the polish they look the exact same as before I had them done. Definitely a hit or miss with good service, unfortunately I probably won't ever go back, way too much money spent for a calf massage and crappy looking feet. read more

Came here with a friend to get nails done for my wedding. The ladies here did an awesome job! They look amazing and they were all very friendly. However, the young man that works there made a remark in response to a conversation I was having with my friend about how she was skinny and I was fat. Getting my nails done is my me time and I usually go every 2-3 weeks depending. I've tried a few salons in the area but always come back to nail max. There are 3 people who work here who I usually go to regularly. I've only had 2 experiences where I wasn't totally thrilled and in love with my nails. Every time I get my nails done here I always get compliments from family, friends, and co workers who want to know where I got them done. They do tend to be very busy on the weekends so I try to go when they open or during the week. The salon is clean and I've never had a problem with my nails breaking, lifting, or otherwise. In fact my nails can at times last me about 4 weeks and I use my hands a lot at work opening boxes. This place is full of rude workers, many of them don't know what they're doing. Me and my friend came in and my friend received bubbly, crooked, and jagged nails along with cuts all along her cuticles and even the bottom of her fingers. Me, instead of cutting my cuticles with a simple cuticle cutter this guy that sits in the front booth in front of the window took the drill file and filed all of my cuticles even after they were all cut up and I was visibly flinching and pulling away. I also got nothing near the picture, me and my friend went home and cut them completely off and painted over the awful designs. We called and complained and was met by a guy who called us liars and him and the so called manager refused to refund us any of the money. Worst experience. read more

I watched them discriminate against a young woman that's disabled in an electric wheelchair. Her first time there and she had an appointment. The employee told her that they were only allowed so many customers at a time and she needed to wait outside (it was 32°). Yet! Another woman walked in and she told her she could go sit in the back. Then they told her she needed to have an aid with her. This woman didn't need an aid. What she needed was respect and treated like a human being.
