Love this place! I chose this place to get my mani pedi when I was having a bad day. Everything was sanitized (I watched employees open everything new). Most importantly, the service was great. I am hesitant to give this a 5 star review, only because i have never gotten a mani-pedi before, so I would have to go back a few more times in order to accurately judge the quality of my mani. read more

Nail Nook is brand new (as of summer 2015) and a really cute spot. My gel manicure ($35) was great and two weeks later it is still looking perfect. They offered a beverage as we walked in and the service was great. The furniture all looks brand new including the pedicure chairs. Will definitely return. read more

I came to this nail salon for the first time, and for the first tine ever, I can say I'm 100% satisfied with a nail salon's work on my manicure. I've been satisfied at other places but there's always little things that I'm not satisfied with. Friendly staff, quick in getting you set up, very pleasant work, and wonderful results. I have to say I expected the price to be a little lower than $35 for a gel manicure, but it doesn't bother me because I'm really happy with the outcome. read more

It is a beautiful facility and they did a great job, but I found their prices to be MUCH higher than other comparable nail salons. I realize this was completely my fault for not confirming prices ahead of time, but imagine my surprise when the cost was almost double what I have paid elsewhere! (Interestingly, they do not have their prices listed anywhere visible in the salon, either.) I would recommend them in terms of quality, but would encourage any potential customers to ask to see a price list of the service(s) they desire before they begin. read more

My experience here was just okay. Not terrible, but not fantastic either. I had to wait a really long time -- which normally I understand as it can get busy at times but they sat me at a chair and told me "2 minutes" only to have me wait another 15. They told me to put my hands in the bowl of water and just left me until my hands turned so pruny I took them out. My gel nails are kind of splotchy you can tell which part of my nail has more polish on it than others. Also, if you notice someone bites their nails don't ask about it and say you notice.... $35 for gel nails and was in and out in about an hour and 15 minutes. I did get my eyebrows done here a few weeks ago and was very pleased and was in and out in 10 minutes -- so I guess it's a hit or miss. read more

While the service was OK, the price was shocking. I am new to town and was in a hurry to get my nails done, so I stopped into the Nail Nook as it was the first place I saw. NO PRICES ARE POSTED. That was my mistake--I should have asked. A manicure and gel was $38!!! At my old salon (out-of-state) I received the same service for $25. I just saw that another Yelp reviewer sald she called to find out their prices and they would not give prices over the phone. They wanted to know where the caller lived..... What?? Do they charge more for people from Golden Eagle and less if you are from elsewhere? I will NOT be going back. read more

I must have gone to a different place than all the others who wrote a review here I made an appointment for a pedicure, was kept waiting for 30 minutes. When they put me in the water, it was cold and proceeded to get even colder over the next 35 minutes I was kept waiting with no offer of something to drink. An inexperienced tech finally appeared. She didn't speak any English. When she asked me if the water was OK, she didn't understand cold and someone had to translate. She then made the water scalding hot and didn't understand the words too hot. She moved the chair up to a point where my feet would not fit in the bowl and I was very cramped. She put forth next to NO effort to give a proper nail and cuticle trim and didn't do any meaningful massage - just rubbed lotion around the same spot on my shin. I asked for someone to explain what I wanted but no one was able to get her to understand. I stopped her, asked for a towel, got up and left, telling them to train this person before letting her work. RIP OFF. Not worth what they charge. Chairs VERY uncomfortable. Go somewhere else. read more

As a patron, I have been going to this salon for an amount of time. They are unaccommodating to repeated customers (with networked clients), and although they have changed locations to upgrade, the service has been severely diminished. Looking for a new place to get my nails, eyebrows and pedi. The service is okay, but the owner has one goal, and that is to go home.... he should go home. read more

Soooo unprofessional ..I didn't get any services done here ..I just called this past Saturday to get a pricing on a manicure and pedicure since I was in Tallahassee for the weekend .. And the guy who picked up the phone was like "hello".. For a second I thought I got the wrong number. I had to ask if it was a nail salon. He was like "yes", I asked how much a manicure and pedicure would be..he asks me "where are calling from?" ..I thought that was odd, I'm like "I'm in Tallahassee (duh) but my number is a California number." He's like "your number is a California number and you say you're in Tallahassee." I'm like yes..he goes on and ask me "are you doing this for someone?" ..(wtf?).."no"..he's like "if you want the price then come to the salon, I'll give you the price"....so ridiculous ..the point of me calling was to get a price before I drove to the salon..smh* idk what his problem was..excuse me for having the same phone number I've had since high school ..Cali born and raised ..as if people can't relocate or be on vacation...anyways I ended up going to millennium at midtown to get my pedicure done and nails done and they did a wonderful and PROFESSIONAL job there. read more

Great nail salon, I've been here twice in several months for pedicures when I'm in town visiting family. Nothing but great things to say, the facility is very clean, nice decor, very friendly staff and attention to detail, both pedicures look fantastic (and both technicians were gentle with my feet), price is very competitive. Sorry but I thought this was hands down the worst pedi I have ever gotten! When I rubbed the side of my foot and complained that it was still rough I was told "well it's better than it was!", toe nails cut unevenly like he was scared to touch my pinky toes! 2 weeks later it needs to be done again. Very disappointing as it was a pretty shop...too bad the hep wasn't better! I will not be back and neither will any of the other 4 ladies I brought with me! read more
