I may have found my Chicago nail salon for the "I have time for a mani pedi today" I originally noticed this salon coming out of a neighboring store in its lot. So clear Chicago bonus there is parking!!! The salon itself is clean and the ladies were all nice. I had asked if they do dip but they unfortunately do not. They do have the no chip as well as the dazzle dry which is supposed to last 14 days but doesn't use a uv light to dry your nails! I decided to get a regular pedicure with callus remover($10 to add) plus the dazzle dry manicure. First of all my nail tech was very sweet and made sure the water was appropriate temp through the pedicure. The chair is comfy and neither service was rushed. The shape isn't perfect but it was my first time there so I'm sure that will improve as we know each other. I do have two little smudges but I'm sure that was my fault. My nail tech even went as far as to wrap my toes before putting my socks on so my pedicure wouldn't smush! The total price for my services before tip was $72 which is very fair compared to what I've seen out here. They even give you a punch card and will store it at the salon for you! I was a walk in and it was a rainy day so I got lucky with not waiting but I'd suggest you make an appointment. I will certainly be back looking forward to trying a green tea pedicure for a pamper me day! read more

Tucked away in the plaza by Elston, we set in for our 1pm appointment, I was apprehensive because new shop and new world happening too. I got a no chip French manicure and several times asked the woman to be sure the white strip was very smooth and not jagged. It just did not seem she was capable of doing it even using a brush. From a far distance my nails look nice but up close the white part is slanted and jagged and looks bad and my cuticles look a bit butchered. Bleached beachy wooden floors, pretty and relaxing wall colors and beautiful manicure and pedicure stations create a really calm and peaceful setting. Even the decor is nicely done. My manicure took more than 40 minutes, which I LOVED. The technician took extreme care to really give my little nails the full treatment. No seriously, tiniest nail beds ever. Technicians far and wide giggle with glee at my toddler-sized nails and hands. They had a huge selection of polishes and an equally large selection of no-chip colors. I plan to come back on Sunday for a no-chip and pedicure. Speaking of, no-chips are just $30. THIRTY DOLLARS. I came in as a walk-in for a mani/pedi and was taken right away. They started the pedicure and I asked for the 50$ organic lavender pedicure because I wanted to try it out for the first time. The lavender was nice and all but it was definitely not worth 50$. The lady didn't even scrub my feet and when I said something about it they did at the end right before paining my toes. The bottom of my foot is still super dry and rough. As for the manicure, she started it while I was getting my pedicure and at the end they pained it clear (which I asked for). I wasn't greeted by the nail tech , she pushed and pulled my feet aggressively during the pedicure, then she painted the wrong color on my toes. The service was extremely rushed, lotion was applied but there was no real massage. My no chip manicure was sloppy.
