It was ok. I went in for a refill on my solar, polish change on my toes, & my eye brows waxed. However I ended up being charged for a solar full set. The lady who did my nails wanted to make my existing white powder color match the color they had (she did not tell me that she charge me extra). Over all it was ok. She did not trim the sides of my nail well. If the nail edge & powder are not edged up well it can lift up & cause the nail to turn green due to water getting in the nail after hand washing. The polish change on my toes was sloppy. My eye brow wax was ok. Nothing special. The lady who did my nails was really sweet and carried a nice conversation with me but I'll won't be returning. My go-to place! I love how personable all of the staff members are. Making an appointment is the best way to guarantee you aren't waiting more than 15 minutes. Very clean, and their various pedicure spa options keep me coming back to try something new. I've tried 4-5 different technicians and all of them give great foot massages if you choose a package with that option! Try and get Quang if you can, he's amazing! Takes his time to make sure you're getting everything you want, but is super fast at French gel manicures! I moved from San Francisco and stopped by the Nail Spa for a pedicure. The building is huge and reminds me of a nail salon factory. Lots of workers busily rushing around taking care of everyone. It's not a quiet, zen, posh spa at all but it gets the job done: - They offer a lot of pedicure and manicure services ranging from 20.00-50.00$. You'll be able to find a service that fits your needs. - They have plenty of pedicurists and spa chairs that your wait won't be too long - The check in process is pretty high tech with a touch screen where you enter your name - OPI polishes to choose from, they also offer shellac - Customer service from the receptionist and my pedicurist were great - I got the Indulgence pedicure w marine mask and it was really great. The massage was really good and the entire service was about 30 minutes long. The scrub and exfoliation were great and the polish application was meticulous. - If you are looking for an upscale ambiance, this is not the place for that. - The decor is like a Hodge podge of furniture, outdated and could use a good cleaning as far as dust and tidying up. It feels a little cluttered. - There are a range of prices but I paid 35.00 for my service. I think that price point is a bit high for this city as pedicures in San Francisco are 25.00-35.00. But I was happy with my pedicure and will be going back and the fact that this place was pretty busy with patrons is a good sign. read more

Honestly, I really wanted to like this place. I've been here three times now and was fairly pleased my first time, a little less pleased my second time, and I went last Friday and can't stop thinking about how frustrated I am. My first two times I went in and got acrylic powder with shellac on top and though the color the first time did something weird and started to turn colors, I dismissed it and did the same thing the next time I went with a different color. Again, color started to turn after about a week. This used to happen when I tanned in a tanning bed, but I haven't done that this time and it still happen, so that's frustrating. With this happening twice I decided last Friday to just do pink and white solar, what a mistake. I told the woman, who's name I can't remember, that I wanted dark pink and bright white. As you can see, this is NOT dark pink, though she kept insisting it was. On top of the color being wrong, she did the white powder first and then the pink, so the pink powder bled onto the white, now the lines aren't sleek and the white has a weird pink tint to it. Also, the lines aren't very sharp, which I wold her I wanted a lot of white and for the lines to be very sharp and clean, they are not. She made them a tad longer than I wanted, I have a baby so I like to keep them pretty short, but if that was the only problem I would have been fine and I would have just filed them down the next time I for a fill. As if my displeasure with the appearance of my nails wasn't enough of an issue, my fingers and nails have been sore since Friday. She was very rough and at one point during her doing my nails, my skin on my right ring finger pad was burning so bad I though maybe I had cut it open and then she had gotten acetone in it, that was not the case and I don't know what was going on or why it was burning so bad. I have many friends that go here and absolutely have loved their experiences. They all use the same girl, Elaine, and I guess from now on I will just have to schedule my appointments to make sure I have her because every other nail tech I've had have been less than friendly, and not done a job that I was happy with after more than a few days. read more

This was always the place I would go to get my nails done in college. It's obvious that they are busy around ring day, but they have plenty of workers and plenty of stations. The workers do a great job in making sure there's no smudge or mark on your nails. If there is, they make sure to fix it. This is the best nail place in college station! At the time I was getting my acrylics refilled. The lady that was working on me was being so rough I yanked my hands away from her multiple times and told her that she was hurting me. All she did was laugh and say sorry every time and continue to be rough. I went home and experienced some soreness in one of my fingers and it eventually turned into sharp pain. I couldn't even put any pressure on that finger. I took the nail off myself and found that she had ripped one of my nails off the nail bed. I have never been back there since. Been going here for a year. Every time i've made an appointment i've never sat down for more than 10 minutes waiting. I just get the basic pedicure. They do it very well and fast. My nail color stays on for a good 3 weeks. Wonderful customer service, easy to use appointment scheduling on there website, and paying out is easy and fast. They offer coffee/ tea on the side. I have been coming to Nail Spa since my freshman year of college and now I am a grad student (so really, I've been coming for almost 7 years). I have seen this place through its ups and downs. What keeps me going back is my manicurist - she is seriously the best! She is meticulous and takes the time to really concentrate on my nails. I go every two weeks on the dot, and the price is also the best around town. I can even upgrade my pedicures and add paraffin wax because they are budget friendly! Sometimes, my shellac mani lasts for three weeks if it's really good. My concern here comes with when I am unable to have my manicurist. I am very particular with tools being used. Sometimes I see them take the tools out of the autoclave bag (that blue bag used for sanitizing the instruments) and sometimes I don't. It's quite disgusting knowing that the tools used on you had been used on someone else. They also "clean" those things they use to rub your feet on right in front of you as if it was a kitchen fork. It will gladly be used by the next person getting a pedicure after you. Second, I had a really bad experience with one manicurist when I couldn't book with my regular. It was 6:15 on a Thursday night and they close at 7. It was obvious that my manicurist wasn't feeling it - he didn't chat with me at all, he just looked disgruntled, and even put the wrong color on my fingers after I told him NOT to get that color because it was too pink. I decided to just shut up because it already looked like he was pissed off and ready to go home. I had been to nice nail places in my hometown in the DFW area, and they always use tools straight out of the autoclave bag (this is a big health code requirement, mind you). They also use linings on the pedicure chair bowls. Despite all the cosmetic upgrades that this place has gone through, I wish they would shift their focus on their sanitation and customer service. read more

Nice place but terrible quality! Got my nails done and the first day, the entire gel polish came off of my thumb nail. The worker cut my cuticles so far down that 3 of my finger were bleeding nonstop. My nails are chipping after 4 days and one of them is broken. read more

I had a terrible experience at Nail Spa, and I will never be returning. I came in with a design in mind, and had reference photos. I asked my technician if he could do it and he said yes. I then watched in horror as the disaster unfolded. My technician completely ignored my immediate hesitation at what he was doing: that wasn't what I wanted. It was completely obvious that he was trying to rush through me to get to the next person! When I was unhappy with the result, he just painted over the acrylic nails with nail polish! When he was done, I went to the desk and expressed my displeasure and they told me they didn't have time to fix it today and to come back tomorrow! When I came back the next day, they said they couldn't squeeze me in, and so I got a refund. I was ready to drop a pretty penny on my nails, I love unique and beautiful designs. Instead of gaining a loyal customer, I will never be returning, and I will never recommend anyone go here. I refuse to pay that much money to be ignored and rushed through. I loved this spa and would go every 3 weeks for months. Then I came in one day for a dip powder manicure. I had to have my old powder removed but instead of soaking my nails the technician took cuticle clippers and began pulling the powder off my nails. It hurt so bad! I'm not usually a customer that likes to demand how things are done but I spoke up and said "this hurts. Could you soak them instead?" He said "but this is faster." My reply was "i don't care. It hurts." He then huffed because he was obviously annoyed and reluctantly got a bowl to soak my nails. I was so embarrassed at first then quickly became angered. It what world is ripping off powder with cuticle clippers expectable?? I'm someone who will keep my mouth shut and tip well, and all I ask is the technician treat me with respect. This was not the case that day and for that I will not be going back to this salon. read more

The service is impeccable and pretty consistent from nail technician to nail technician. Everyone is friendly and the salon is large and extremely sanitary. Overall I had a decent experience. I like the atmosphere and the organization of the salon. However I do have a few issues. One being they don't use plastic liners for their pedicure chairs, which isn't very sanitary. Another issue is the lady that did my nails I feel went a little too fast. Less than an hour leaving the salon my nail polish started chipping on a few fingernails, and my nails keep getting caught on things because she didn't file them well enough. As for the pedicure, it was fantastic! They were a little pricey for what I was expecting but my technician Isabel did a wonderful job! Yuri did my eyebrows and did a good job, although I feel she could've cleaned up a little better around my arches. Besides that not too bad. Might go back, not quite sure yet. read more

I don't think this place is anything special, they are just good enough to be above the rest but they don't go above and beyond. I had my eyebrows waxed and the girl did a terrible job and left tons of stray eyebrow hairs. My mom and I also got a pedicure, we were going to do the same color and my mom decided to do another. When she asked the nail tech to grab her any pink they had the girl said "can you not get up and get it" which was really rude and lazy of her. I don't think this place is bad, I just don't think they do anything special. They are just trying to get by and they don't really care to much about the actual service they provide. read more
