When on a work trip for four weeks, I found myself both needing a nail refresh and some relaxation after long days setting up a new site to open. The foot pedicure was absolutely delightful with the massage and hot stone massage. I wish this place had cat eye polish as that's my preferred at home, but still found a fun shimmery red glitter one. If I'm ever back here for work, I'd return as this place was clean, comfortable, and friendly. Much needed!

Love my design!! I found this place based off of a yellow review and what customers were saying. I'm busy at a town of Maryland and I broke my middle finger. My wait time was roughly 10 to 15 minutes. I was off a refreshments while I waited. Opted for can I design. Loved my nails and toes, didn't care for the experience. I mentioned multiple times before sitting down for my pedicure I didn't want gel polish on my toes, however the only colors I was brought were gel colors. After a frustrating back and forth, my pedicure was complete and very pretty! Next to the manicure station. The seat I was told to go to was completely covered with clipped nails and polish bottles from a previous client. The tech wiped off a section of the station, just enough to squeeze my arms in. She looked at my picture and got to work pretty quickly. She gave great suggestions and I loved the way my nails turned out. Checking out. This is such a chaotic process, because at one point the last person that worked on you and the front desk attendant are both standing watching you pay. Guiding you to enter your tip, and watching you swipe you card. It's definitely too much. read more

I went for a birthday gift to myself, got a basic pedicure with gel polish, also got a full set with gel polish and chrome and I liked it surprisingly. It's been 2 weeks now lifting(I did lose two nails today but that bc I work with my hands lifting stuff all day so it was expected for 2 weeks but would have liked them to last longer as the quality isn't the best. I walked in at 7:45 on a Friday night and the business is about to close at 8:30 but they were so kind to me and they took care of me for my pedicure. It was one of the best ones I've had in a long time And the tech was very gentle and gave a good foot massage. I highly recommend this place and will go back but next time I won't put them out and I will arrive earlier than I did tonight. read more

Town Center is VERY BUSY..... I despise waiting- this establishment turns it over... BUT the VERY BEST full set I ever had! The color selection room is unmatched! This is an experience- wait time, cleanliness, selection !... I started this a few months ago and have been back twice. Each time it's worse. JACKIE who answers the phone is CURT & aggressive. Unless you know your nail tech, you can't make an appointment. So I walked in... earlier today & my finger tip was drilled off by Alex, who thought trimming nails was best with a drill. My nail Polish is on my fingers & not to the cuticle. My daughter got a full set with 1/2 of the acrylic used in a full set. For starters they waxed my eyebrow in half and tried to hide it from me and tried to charge me until I called them on it. Then they cut my cuticle during my manicure and also left streaks down the nail but at this point I was so frustrated and just wanted to leave. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your time here. read more

This was my first visit to Polish. went here for a fill in. On the website this is listed at "$21 and up". At checkout I was charged $36. I have no idea why it was so expensive. I had one nail that was lifting and the end chipped off while being drilled and required some extra powder to fill. Was repairing one nail $15? I felt incredibly uncomfortable the whole time; while masks are required and I was given a pump of hand sanitizer at check in, I was seated at a middle seat then had two other guests were sat on each side of me, each less than a foot from me. I had the front desk staff directly behind me, to the point they were bumping my chair. This place was uncomfortably full for covid-19 times. Several employees not busy with customers were out on the floor on their cell phones and just chatting, hovering around each other and guests. I'm not a claustrophobic or overly germaphobic person, but I constantly had between 4-8 people within 6 feet of me during the length of my fill and was in a situation where I couldn't move away from the crowd. The technician did a good job and I'm pleased with his my nails look, but with the price and crowd, I don't think I'll be back. read more

After recently moving to Jacksonville I started looking for a new nail salon. After trying a couple I came across Polish. I'm so glad I did! I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure. I was lucky enough to get Tanya. She does an amazing job. She is very meticulous. She is also very careful to make sure you are comfortable. Trimming cuticles can be a bit painful and she takes extra precautions to make sure she isn't hurting you. Tanya also is great a color choices. I can give her an idea of what I'd like and she finds exactly the perfect one. She does a gel manicure a little different than I've had before and I can honestly say my nails have never looked better! When I leave my appointment with Tanya, my nails and cuticles are always perfect. My polish lasts much longer having Tanya applying it than anywhere else I've gone before. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment with TANYA! You're hands and feet will be so happy you did! read more

I made an appointment for my boyfriend & I to get pedicures here to look sharp for our vacation. When I called to make an appointment, the receptionist was very friendly & clarified what we needed done prior to our arrival. When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly face. They had a HUGE color selection & a variety of pedicure options. They also offered us drinks to sip on while we got pampered ! The man who did my toes was very friendly & did great work; my pedicure & gel manicure looked very nice & clean when he was finished. I come here pretty frequently and I must say each visit I never have a problem. The staff is really respectful and always greet customers as they walk in. I expressed what I wanted to Vivian for a full set though I felt like I wasn't explaining exactly what I wanted correctly, she understood completely and even gave me 2 other options to choose from. I had an incredible experience tonight at Polish. My technician Chenda was consultative, offered suggestions for color and product when I showed her a photo of what I wanted. She went above and beyond with quality for my gel pedicure and gel polish change on my hands. She even stayed past their close time to ensure that my services were taken care of, with the highest quality at that. Chenda is a perfectionist and did a superb job on my nails. This was by far the WORST full I've ever gotten. Not only did it take an hour and a half. But i was filling and ombré and she just made my nails white. The shape was supposed to be coffin which i already had and they look square. On top of everything she cut me THREE times with a NAIL FILE. She didn't cut me with the drill, she literally filed into my skin. I told them i wasn't paying full price for this and they proceeded to take only $5 off. Worst experience I've ever had. read more

I can't praise this place enough. My nail tech was the absolute sweetest and was very friendly and adorable. I showed her a reference picture and nailed it perfectly! She even went to grab the perfect blue when the samples I was given weren't quite as light as my reference. The atmosphere was very relaxed and I felt welcomed the moment I stepped in. I go out for a pedicure on average once a year. My mother-in-law had the kids today so I decided to treat myself. I was able to walk right in, pick out my polish, and get seated right away. I only waited for a short time before very nice lady named Nancy came and began my pedicure. Because I was short on time, I only got the essential pedicure, which was $27. It was my first time here, I usually go someplace else but I was in a rush & nobody was available. The inside is gorgeous and clean. I scheduled an appointment for a fill in with gel, and they seated me within 10 minutes. My nail tech was Ivy, she is AMAZING!!! Im evacuated and decided to get my nails done. I got a standard pedicure and a gel nail polish. Lynn was absolutely amazing. Best pedicure I've ever had... and I go regularly back home. She spent extra long on the massage, was very kind and patient, and massaged my hands after my gel polish even though I didn't get a manicure. 100% recommend!! read more

I have gotten my nails done here multiple times and the service is above average. They are always super busy but you still are seated within 10 minutes. My first appointment was in April for a short square acrylic French tip set. The nails came out beautiful, and while I felt the $85 charge for a soak-off and new set was higher than many other salons in Jacksonville, I was happy with the final result. I returned in mid-May for a fill-in, which cost $60. Again, I thought the price was steep for a fill, but the work was done well enough that I decided to come back. Unfortunately, my experience on June 4 was unacceptable from both a service and customer service standpoint. I came in for another fill and specifically requested that my nails remain the same length and shape. I have consistently worn square nails during my visits to this salon. The nail technician working on me began filing away a significant amount of the acrylic despite my request to keep the length. I also noticed that she only applied acrylic to the grown-out area rather than rebalancing the entire nail, leaving my nails feeling extremely thin and vulnerable to breaking. As she continued shaping them, I noticed my square nails were being filed into a coffin shape. I politely asked if the sides could be straightened because they looked too curved. Since there was a language barrier, another employee came over to assist. Instead of addressing my concern, I was told that the shape had changed because the technician was "following the shape of my natural nails" and that hitting or banging my hands could change the shape. As someone who has been getting acrylic nails for over 15 years, I know the difference between normal wear and a nail being reshaped during a fill. The explanation made no sense and felt dismissive. When I reiterated that I wanted square nails, the same shape I originally came in with, I was told that if I wanted square nails, I should get a completely new set. I found this confusing because I wasn't asking for a different shape; I was asking for the same shape I have had during every visit. When I questioned this, the employee and the technician laughed. Whether that was their intention or not, it came across as incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. There was nothing funny about the situation from my perspective and I felt my concerns were being dismissed rather than addressed. The employee then stated that I was clearly unhappy and suggested stopping the service altogether. At that point, I agreed, got up and left. I spent my time coming to the appointment, sitting through the service and trying to communicate my concerns, only to leave without a resolution and in a worse mood than when I arrived. What makes this even more frustrating is the inconsistency in pricing. My previous fill was $60, but this visit I was quoted $55. There seems to be little transparency regarding pricing from one appointment to the next. To be fair, management did reach out to me after the incident, apologized for my experience and offered me 20% off a future service with one of their more experienced technicians. I appreciate the gesture and the fact that they took the time to contact me. However, the issue was never just about the nails themselves, it was about how my concerns were handled in the moment. After feeling dismissed, argued with and laughed at, I simply do not feel comfortable returning. It's disappointing because my first two visits were positive and that's the only reason I came back. Unfortunately, this experience overshadowed those previous visits. Professionalism and customer service matter just as much as the quality of the work and in this case, both fell short.
