I visited this place yesterday because my usual go to spot was closed and I needed to get my nails done ASAP. I went to yelp to find a nearby salon with good reviews and stumbled upon this place. I meant to go to a different one nearby but was in a rush and didn't realize that I went to the wrong salon. Big mistake! The man that greeted me was friendly and had me seated quickly. Then a lady started the process of soaking my old set of SNS nails off. I literally sat there soaking my nails for like 20 minutes or so. My fingers were in the acetone so long that they're super dry now. Since I was in a time crunch I inquired about how much longer it would take. By that time my old set of SNS nails were already soaked off. The man that had greeted me told me that the lady that was going to do my nails would be right with me. She was working on another client so it took her a bit before she started working on my nails. I asked her to do a SNS pink and white ombré. I'm not sure how experienced she is with the ombré process but my nails did not turn out how I wanted or how they were displayed in the sample they had. Not only that but she ended up nicking one of fingers with her drill. While getting my nails done, I asked to go ahead and pay since I was already running late for an appointment I had. The man knew that I was in a rush so he told me that I could come back after my appointment to get the topcoat placed. That was a nice gesture. I came by later that afternoon after I was done with my appointment and the man quickly seated me again. He applied the topcoat for me and noticed that one of my nails was already chipped. So he had the lady that did my nails come over to fix it. She attempted to fix it and applied another topcoat to my nails. I'm not sure if their gel polish is old or if they don't know what they're doing but my nails are already chipped today. For the price that I paid($45 plus tip), my nails should not be chipping already! I will not be coming back to this place. read more

I absolutely love this salon! The atmosphere is relaxing and the salon is very clean. The workers here attended to my every need, they even managed to fix my half broken toe nail! I come here every 2 weeks to get a mani/pedi and each time it seems like they just add more colors for me to choose from. Highly recommended, 5 stars! Update: I just recently got SNS here and compared to the other salons in the area I would say that they can do it a lot cleaner. I get my nails done a couple of times a months. I was in a hurry and couldn't drive to my regular nail salon, so I dropped by Nail Style for a mani/pedi. Honestly, I will never do it again. Although the place looks clean and nice, there are a few problems with their cleanliness that become obvious only after you are in the chair receiving a service. First of all, their foot SPAs are not cleaned properly. They just drain the water and hope for the best. No wipe down, no sterilization, nothing. They do not sterilize their tools either. I saw a manicurist reuse clippers that she used on me on another client without even wiping them down! Makes me cringe just thinking about it. When I was getting my manicure, the manicurist did not cut back the cuticles properly, left a bunch of dead skin behind, shaped the nails wrong, and when she was done polishing my nail there was a bunch of nail polish spots left on the tips of my fingers. Did I mention that I got cut in the process of getting my manicure? I really hope that I will not get an infection because of their poor hygiene practices. I could have done a better, cleaner and safe job at home. This place is not worth your money. read more

I went in on a Friday night for a full set. My nails have been bare for a couple weeks recovering from a bad set of SNS nails at a different salon who shall remain nameless. Consequently, my natural nails were short, uneven, and had split layers and painfully thin nailbeds. Tina greeted me immediately and helped me make sense of the price/services menu. (After a full week of work, my brain turns to jello on Friday evening!) She was patient and friendly while doing my nails, being extra delicate with my thin/sensitive nail beds. The staff was so kind and friendly. While I was there a disabled woman in a motorized wheelchair came in with her aid for a mani. The staff all worked together to make her comfortable and accommodate her needs without complaint! So beautiful! My nails look great! There's a slight wrinkle in the gel on my left thumb that showed up later in the evening after a shower. I'm probably the only one who will notice. I started coming here when the management from my old nail salon moved to this location. I really liked the manager and his wife and their employees. However, I have not been as satisfied with the service since they moved to this location. For one, the wait time is HORRIBLE. I got to the salon when they opened today at 12. It is now 12:50 and I still haven't been helped. And the quality of service is not what it used to be. They rush, especially when it's busy. I rarely see the owners anymore...I'm not sure if there has been another change in management or what. But I think it might be time to look for another nail salon after being here for years. read more

A few of my coworkers went here to get their nails done yesterday and one coworker had a story to tell about what the tech said to her. She was told to invite friends to get their nails done at this location but no one black was allowed! The tech said this all the while there were black women there at the time getting their nails done. I'm so glad I didn't come to this salon with them. I would have been extremely uncomfortable. Especially since they talk in their native language.... Who knows what they would have been saying about me!? Never again. I asked for a specific design and assured it could be done. my nails were nothing like what I asked for, but it was an ok ombre job so I let her finish. Then I noticed the 'sns was to thick and asked for it to be filed down a bit. Wasn't what I asked for but I had sat there so long and asked for corrections that I finally just let the end result go cause it was not too bad. There is literally one guy who gives excellent pedicures..and he had placed his equipment near my tub...but the lady who couldn't get my nails right literally slid his equipment out of the way and started to do my pedicure tub...I immediately just wanted a callus removal and paint...cause after my nails I saw she could only handle the basics. Not to mention her nails were tore up so how could I think she would get mine right. Lesson learned...I've already found a new spot... I'll miss the guy who gave wonderful pedis. read more

Large, clean establishment with numerous pedicure/massage stations, always use the clear plastic pedi footpath covers, the shop even has two child-sized pedicure stations! Walk-ins are welcome, new owner Tina does my mani/pedis, she is so sweet! Salon offers waxing and facials too. The pedicurist cut the side of my toe (very deep cut) and tried to hide it. I had two doctor visits, had to miss work and could not wear a shoe for a month. The salon owner called it an accident but does not want to take accountability for it and compensate me for the medical bills, wage loss, and pain and inconvenience. The salon (which is a new location, they also own a location in Atlanta off of Power's Ferry that goes by the same name) was open doing business for weeks before their insurance policy went into effect. I was cut on April 25th 2015 and per the owner's husband (Anthony) their policy went into effect on April 27th. I have the funny suspicion that they only got coverage because of the incident with my foot. The owner's husband has begun telling me that his wife is very ill and in the hospital (7/13) and today said she is very very ill and out of the country. If it is true, I wish her a speedy recovery. However, the timing of it all makes me believe it's a lie. Think TWICE before having a service at the salon and spa they may not be insured (they may have gotten it for a month and let it lapse) and obviously don't care to do right by their customers. read more

Really wish I had read the reviews on this place before stopping by for a gel manicure/ pedicure. Although the interior of this place looks trendy & high-end the nail techs here are far from that. First of all upon arrival on a Friday afternoon there was only ONE other customer having their nails done. Sign number one I should have politely left, however being new to the area I decided to give them a chance. The lady at the desk asked what I would like to have done and I told her I always get SNS ("powder dip") nails which is a safer, healthier alternative to acrylic nails. No only did she have no idea what I was talking about she suggested I get pink and white after I told her I do not want acrylics as I am letting my nails recover after YEARS of acrylics, she said that a gel manicure may be much better then. I said alright after I realized this nail tech had no clue what SNS or "powder dip" nails were. The gel manicure was just alright nothing special although they charged me $25 and did NOT apply any cuticle remover, she didn't place my hands in the little heating pads, nor did she give my hands or arms any type of massage. I am an avid salon goer I get my nails done every 2 weeks minimum so I am pretty use to mani/pedis and the routine of procedures that should be done. Automatically I felt a little gybed, but that wasn't a total deal breaker yet...since they only had 2 nail techs working at the moment the same lady also had to do my pedicure after she finished my hands. So now the bad experience gets worse, there are probably 10-15 total spa pedicure literally there are that many & mind you I am the ONLY other customer in the salon, the lady sits me at a chair in front of the door which was open the entire time, it is only 48 degrees with the wind blowing 90mph. Next she turns on the water and puts NOTHING in the tub except for a plastic liner. No sea salt, no antiseptic, no Epsom salt nothing just straight water and plastic trash bag. Next she went to remove the gel that was previously on my toes, instead of gently filing it and then soaking my toes in acetone to get the polish off she grabs my toes and literally grates the polish off with a nail file until it's gone...OMG I was literally speechless like my toes are on fire at this point. Also, she never turned on the foot massaging tub jets. I asked her about them and she said "oh no it broken" so then there's that...basically I had a pedicure in a trash bag with water...no soaps...no good smells...no relaxation...just a lady grating my toe nails and putting polish on them. She NEVER massaged my feet, NEVER massaged my legs and NEVER asked how I was doing the entire time!! I felt like I was doing them a favor just being there at this point and probably should have asked to see her license because I have NEVER had an experience quite like this one. She was never rude, but she wasn't super friendly or accommodating by any means. So when I'm finished she says "ok all done" literally my $40 pedicure took all of 20minutes tops like is that a Joke? The entire time the only thing this lady kept asking me is if I wanted to "upgrade"...."it better for you" I politely declined every time because why in the world would I continue to add money for services that are not being preformed??! I'm sitting there regretting even staying and just wanting to leave and drive back to my old salon that is 45 minutes away. It made me sick to my stomach to pay this nail salon $62 for half-done crappy service. I now know why there was only ONE other person in there the entire time. This place actually has a nice modern look to it and has potential, but they NEED NEW MANAGEMENT ASAP! I don't know how they are still in business and they are even in a prime location right next to a grocery store! I am so disappointed and will never return there. Please do yourself a favor and save your money- go elsewhere there are like 3 more salons all in the same area, guess I'll be trying one of those instead next time. read more
