However, after multiple visits for waxing services, the results have consistently been unsatisfactory. The wax application is done in large patches and not pulled in the direction of hair growth, which results in the hair not being removed from the root. This leads to an uneven and unclean finish. I find this especially disappointing because I know what a proper, clean wax should look and feel like. Unfortunately, because this has happened repeatedly, I will no longer be returning for services.

She could've been way more gentle when removing the existing extensions. She pulled at the extensions and rubbed at them with whatever remover she used which irritated my eyelids. But I let that go because that part passed pretty quickly. Another thing I noticed is she didn't ask what shape or length of lashes I wanted. I'm used to being asked those things, plus if I'm ok with the length of extensions they're going to apply, etc. When I got home, however, I examined my lashes in the mirror and found that I couldn't brush through them. Somehow there was glue on the the tips of the extensions which I found weird. Also I noted during my appointment she had placed a full set in under 2 hours. Fast forward to today (1/10/23), and I finally got an appointment with my usual girl. She said the fans were unusually easy to remove, despite me washing them every other day and brushing them (when they allowed). She also said she could tell they were premade fans, which isn't always the way to go in my experience. The way they're glued together makes for a very unnatural appearance. She noted that there were multiple fans on one lash which weighed them down and she found a few that were stuck together. So all of this told me that it was a more rushed appointment rather than her being efficient. Overall, I'm not saying don't go to her or anything, I just want her to see this review and hopefully use it as constructive criticism and improve her techniques in the future.

So, I wasn't going to leave this review- I was just never going to come back…read more So I was getting Gel X done with extensions, the girl who helped me trimmed my cuticle and caused me to bleed a lot. In her panic, she put super glue on my cut to stop the bleeding, then put a washcloth back on it to stem the bleeding but ended up supergluing the washcloth to my finger. She then ripped the washcloth off my finger (which HURT) and had to spend 5min tweezing off the bits of washcloth that were not glued to my finger. She also gaslit me and said my skin was so thick, so it was my fault. Not only that- but she often applied too much glue and had to keep redoing her applications. Even after that horrific experience- I was going to let it go. I even tipped her $30 because I'm too nice and hate conflict. But we're barely 3 days in having these nails and already my thumb nail popped off in front of my friggin boss. Beware of this place. There's a reason why some people never return.

To my pleasant surprise, the new staff was much nicer, more skilled, faster, and even more polite than the previous staff. They told me 10-15 min wait. I waited about 20 minutes before being seen. I kept hearing great reviews, I was told that Mon-Wed they have $5 off gel manicures.
