Tried this place out for the first time as it's closer to where I live now and I'm so dissatisfied and disappointed. I paid 126.00 not including tip for both ladies to feel embarrassed to have these nails on. The staff was very friendly but that does not compensate for the poor quality of work they do here. Really makes me wonder if the pics of the nice nails are fake. My full acrylic gel set was over 75 dollars which I did not even try to argue it I let it be and paid my bill but it hurts me to spend my hard earned money on this quality work. I made an appointment for 2 full acrylic sets at 11:30am on a Sunday at one day in advance. Their availability was nice since lots of salons are busy on Sundays. It got busy with walk-ins when we arrived so we had to go one at a time which made our visit take longer than expected. We weren't in a rush, so it wasn't a big deal but I suggest telling them ahead of time if you are on a timeline. My full set took less than one hour and came out very nice (photos included). This place was a great find that my sister-in-law recommended. Best to make an appointment ahead of time when they open, especially on a Saturday before they get busy. I was able to get a regular pedicure with callus (by Jennie P) and powder dip nails with tips (by Kathy FS) added on since my nails were really short for a great price! They did it in one hour at the same time! Amazing on time. That's great considering for all that I would have spent 2.5 hours and $70+ tip on top at other nail locations in the city. They did a great job and made sure I was happy with their work. Good choices in colors and have them in gel, powder or regular polish for options. They said if any of these chip, to come in and she'll fix them free of charge. Also, water, tea and soda are included if you'd like. The service was great and they were kind. I will be back again when I visit my family here. Great that it's around the corner, too! There's food around these shops too if you have someone with you waiting and they're hungry. read more

And I mean approx 10-15 years...a long time because that's how long I was going there. Last time I was there before they left, new staff was rude & cold and only nice if you were gonna be seen by new staff. I no longer go there and found a new salon & they're great. But he took off his glove and the little rubbers he had on his fingers when he STARTED my pedicure. I've read a lot of reviews about people saying it was really busy so I came around 10:30am on a Friday. I was seated right away. Andrew did my pedi and Kathy did my french tip gel nails. I really love this place! I have social anxiety so I get nervous when I go to nail salons sometimes. They were so friendly and made me feel comfortable. The prices are also very decent for the work they put out. Andrew really took his time with my pedi, I didn't feel rushed at all, and the nail polish came out perfect. Kathy was so fast and efficient with my nails! She said she's been working there for 16 years and has been doing nails for longer. It really shows! She's excellent at what she does. Update: I loved this place, they did a great job.. in the beginning. I became a regular (twice a month for about 6 months) , always tipped 20%, yet my nails wouldn't look consistently great. That didn't stop me (though it should have) , what stopped me from returning was they did not value appointments. I am used to showing up for an appointment and waiting about 5 minutes. I can understand that. But, the last time I went, I arrived for my appointment and was told to come back the following day. I had made the appointment because I had special evening plans that night. I felt like because I was repeat business they weren't worried about me, they stopped taking care, and trying to maintain their repeat customer. All that being said: I always saw Kathy. So I asked the owner how much longer it was going to be . She said "well you left so I gave you spot up" I blew up on her for how terrible her operations are and her service. I had her remove my nails and I left. Will never spend my hard earned money their. I was sitting right there and she tried lying to my ace and putting the blame in me. don't waist your money. If you go in as a group expect to be there 6hours None of theirs technicians are cross trained so only two people can do sets and only 2 people do toes and only 2 people to manicures . I would rate it -5 if I could. The owner doesn't how to handle customers or maintain customer retention . She has done this 4 times to me. This will be my new go-to salon. My original nail salon had been busy for the past two days, so I decided to look for another shop. I stumbled across this hidden gem on Yelp. Ha did an amazing job on my French gel manicure. She took her time and was very thorough. They were very busy, but she never rushed through my service. Everyone is very friendly and speaks English very well. I would recommend making an appointment. I came in as a walk in and waited about 30 minutes. I used to go to the other nail salons in the Eastlake area and thus far I do love this place. The worst place I've ever been too. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS SALON. I called and made an appt earlier today with Mimi at 2:30 (the salon requested that time). At 2:15 when I'm already on the way I get told that they want to move the appointment to 3 PM. I let them know that I am already on the net on the way but if Mimi is not available then I would take an appointment with Kathy. I arrive at the salon and M shown to a table. No one really communicated with me when I walked in, I merely announced that I had an appointment with Mimi or Kathy. I end up getting Kathy for my appointment. I mention that I am getting my nails done for my birthday and she shows me all of the choices to pick out my colors. Once she starts doing my nails and placing the acrylics on I noticed that she is choosing really small small sets that look crooked on my fingers. I mention something to her immediately. once they're on, then I mention that it looks as if a bunch of my natural nail is sticking out from the side under the powder. Kathy then tells me that I'm being really picky. And I told her if she think she can make it look good then OK. At this point another manicurist (with a customer) butts in and starts berating me for asking questions, complaining etc. I tell her she doesn't need to tell at me, and then Kathy tells me she refuses to finish. I got upset and walked out with a disgrace on my hands. Literally. Kathy was extremely nice as she refused to service me in the middle of service, which is extremely conniving. I am so sad that this place treated me so poorly and I hope that they treat others better than me. Excuse me as I struggle to find a nail salon that will fix this mess. NEVER COME HERE.
