I have been going to Yenny for about 8 years now? Before her, I never even stepped foot in a nail salon. I originally met Yenny at "Cutie Nails" across from Costco and Walmart off of East H street in Chula Vista and Yenny & Lee decided to open up their own shop and I followed them. I moved to LA MESA 3 years ago and call me crazy but I still drive up to see Yenny there's so many nail places near me but I trust Yenny, I love her personality, and just the overall atmosphere with Yenny & Lee is just so inviting. Yenny knows my style of nails and I always get compliments! I read that there's a CON at this location and that's parking. I never once had issues with parking. You can park behind the other shops nearby in the alley or in front of the spa and nails that many don't know about. What I also love is that Yenny is ALWAYS available for me. First time here and honestly my last I was excited when I saw they had good reviews as I'm seeking for a new regular pedi spot but this was not it :( I didn't get the lady's name that did my pedi and unfortunately my whole review is based on my experience with her so please keep that into consideration I gave one star for the fact I didn't have to wait The other star is for the friendliness of the other technicians My lady did not communicate a single word with me I tried asking how her day was literally got nothing in return (which is fine I'm sure there's just a language barrier) but then she kept getting gel around my toe nails which she cleaned one up after I asked her to and the rest I cleaned off myself the worst part for me and this is the only reason I would never go back is my favorite part of a pedicure is the massage I am pregnant and yes even 5 minutes of massage are very important to me so she signaled me like we were done and I asked her if we were actually done and she said yes I asked if she was not going to do a massage and she lied and said she did I don't know if this was an honest mistake where she thought she did but I promise you she did not give me a massage she did apply lotion and then wiped it off with a hot towel but never actually massaged my legs or feet not even for any kind of second so that was really upsetting because I told her she didn't hoping she would realize maybe she was distracted and skipped it but instead she literally looked me dead in my eyes and told me she did I couldn't believe it So if you're looking for a good pedi with a nice little massage this place is not it hope this was helpful read more

I would not recommend this nail salon at all and I have reason to suspect that they use MMA monomer! The gel on my nails was not fully cured and peeled off a day after getting them done. Uncured gel is not safe on skin or nails and can cause contact dermatitis. When it came time to soak off my acrylic nails at home, I noticed the acrylic was gummy and did not flake off, which is an indicator that MMA monomer was used. MMA monomer is illegal and banned by the FDA for nail use. They are cutting cost at the expense of customer safety! read more

I think by far this was the worst pedicure I ever had in my life. Honestly, I was in disbelief and thought I was being punked after she finished. The young lady that did my pedicure was supposed to do my manicure, but I refused to let her touch my hands. She did not nip cuticles, get any ingrown nails or scrub any dead skin off. (You know the reason we actually get a pedicure) She literally just put gel on my toes. I'm just in shock. My feet look so bad, and I will never in life go back here. Please don't ever go here they have the worst nail shaping and design my nails were too thick and clumpy i asked for ballerina and she gave me coffin my nail looked pregnant she put a lot of glue on the diamonds wich made my nails have a big bump I was so mad my nails looked so ugly I had to file and shape them down when I got home these women here said they been working for 20 years how you work for that long an be absolutely terrible at doing nails and she didn't even know what ballerina shape was like you work there for so long and don't even know the names and the shapes they did my shit half ass because they wanted to hurry up and go home. 3rd time each time a different nail tech; I wish I could say which one I like better but all three have been great and have send me happy with the designs, service and quiality of the nails. I get the pedicure with regular polish, gel polish over accrilic on my hands. I have found them to be a great price for good quality work. Mimi is the BEST! I am so picky and was bugging her to fix the tiniest imperfections but she bared with me and I left so happy with the cutest birthday nails!!! They've lasted and kept their shine! A full new set with gel and stickers only cost me $45 and I tipped another 10 because she was so patient with me even though i bumped my wet polish 3 or 4 times.
