This place is not my favorite but my mom really likes it. Definitely not the most organized or tidy of places. Even though the space is large, it looks like they just pile stuff up in corners. Staff is rude, my daughter an I went in there today for two pedicures, they told us wait time 5 mins. 20 mins later we we're walking out and they stopped us and sat us down and among themselves we're talking in their language and looking at my daughter and myself. Calming atmosphere with excellent music - mostly quality classical. I've only visited once so far and none of the technicians engaged in the normal nail salon cross chatter in their foreign tongue, which always feels so rude to me, especially somewhere I've come to relax and "tune out". I have to admit, it has been a while since I have written a review. I'm a workaholic who's does hair for a living so I must constantly keep up with my nails. I had a difficult time getting in with my usual nail lady and couldn't wait any longer, so randomly while making a bank stop i decided to give Nail Time a try, i can honestly say it's been about 15 years since I had last been there. I had STEVE do my nails from the moment I came in the owner/manager was welcoming and took me in even though it was about to be closing time. The manager even talked me into getting a pedi on top of getting acrylic, which I found fabulous considering I was exhausted from work and was due for some much needed pampering. Customer service was excellent my pedi was amazing and very detailed. Steve worked on my acrylic as I was getting my pedi and i didn't feel rushed in fact i felt very relaxed even with the two working on me at the same time. STEVE took his time to do my nails and got the shape i wanted down perfectly. I'll be posting a before and after pic because he truly did an amazing job considering i went in there with black hair color stains. I will definitely return to him he was professional, attentive and most important very detailed with his work and gentle. read more

I have been coming here for eight years. I had my regulars Ann and Steven do my Nails. This spring they left to open their own nail shop in Burbank. Unfortunately, they tried to take all of the clients they possibly could when they left. They had accumulated contact info mine included and continued to text me to get my business to their new shop. If anyone as owned their own business you know how badly it hurts when clients are dishonestly taken away. I can't in good faith go to their New business. Since they have left a few of their previous customers have jumped on yelp to give Nail Time bad reviews. This to me is very unethical. WARNING DONT COME HERE!! It took the girl ( short girl black short hair) 2 1/2 hours to barely finished my full set and I could tell that she didn't know what she was doing the entire time. at that point I couldn't wait any longer to get gel nail polish on top. By the end of the night I had moisture under all my nails which WILL cause fungus to grow. I went back this morning and asked what they could do for me. You could clearly see that the girl that did my nails last night was upset and all four of the workers didn't say anything and left me standing there until I said, " so am I just going to stand here and be ignored"? And then another lady was really messed up teeth proceeded to argue with me for 30 minutes having the same argument going in a circle going nowhere. I told her I just wanted my money back so I can go and get my nails taken off somewhere else since she didn't have time to do it now and she apparently didn't understand that I didn't have time later ( this was the loop conversation I was stuck in) she then told me that I could only get my money back if I cut them in front of her so I asked her to handed clippers and I cut them and she threw my $25 at me. Very unprofessional and all this was going on well it was packed full of clients in there. I went to Nail time today with my mother, sister and Cousin and the service there was horrible. I had gotten a pedicure...I didn't know I asked for an "express" pedicure. The pedicure took (no exaggeration) ten minutes. The woman used cuticle clippers to cut my toe nails, without asking what exactly I wanted, IE cut or filed. She put lotion on my legs, not on my foot then proceeded to drowned my toes in nail polish remover. After, I was sitting at the drying station when she loudly asked for my form of payment. I understand I had asked for a $5 extra but for a ten minute pedicure and $5 charge it ended up totaling to $23.00 for something I would have thought came from a child. The atmosphere was very unappealing, the floor looked as though it had not been swept or moped in weeks if not months. The Staff talked behind your back or after you had left the building. I will not be returning to Nail Time any time soon...if ever. I do remember going there before and not being fully satisfied. I rated the price as pricey because the charge did not match the service. I have no problem paying thirty dollars for a pedicure, but only if the service is preformed adequately and not "mickey moused." read more

Now that Steven has left the salon I no longer go there. After he left I tried two other manicurists at Nail Time however they rushed, used methods that weakened my nails (used a nail file to take off polish rather than waiting for the nail polish remover to work), and the polish from the gel manicure started to come off in 6 days. When Steven did it, the gel manicure would last 2 1/2 weeks. Unfortunately no one in the salon will tell me where Steven now works. If anyone knows, please post the information. read more

The ladies were super sweet and joked with us. They made nice conversation. My friend and I both wanted gel and they quickly scheduled an appointment for us an squeezed us in. They provided a huge array of colors that we gladly looked at and chose the same one . But they did an amazing job on the gel. They were quick but careful. Great facial tatoo shop hidden in this little strip mall nail salon. Owner is so helpful and listened to everything I asked for. Was VERY patient with me which came in handy because I am super picky. I must say, I shop at Pavilions, which happens to be right next door to this salon. Honestly, I never noticed salon there. I have been using this salon for almost a year now. I think they are fantastic. No complaints here. I especially like the mineral rub they use. It is a little bit extra for it bit well worth it. My skin feels divine after wards. Also, I am usually very picky about which manicurist I use, but not here. I will say this, for the best pedicure ask for Linda. The only problem is she only works weekends and is usually booked. I give Nail Time 4 stars because I get exactly what I expect: a decent spa pedicure at a reasonable price ($18 + tip). Nail Time is nothing fancy, but they get the job done. I recommend Anne for spa pedicures and manicures. She does a good job and I really appreciate her efforts. My roommate, who has never had Anne because I hog her all to myself, recommends Lani for spa pedicures and Steve for manicures. Yes, Nail Time takes walk ins, but I always try to make an appointment and ask for Anne (or Lani or Steve) so I don't get stuck with Sue. I have had Sue twice and I have not been happy with her service. I feel bad singling her out, but I want Nail Time to stick around and for my fellow Yelpers to have a good experience when they go there. Also, Nail Time accepts credit cards (I believe they charge a $1 fee), but they will not allow you to put the tip on your credit card, so be sure to have cash for the tip. read more

Went to get a polish change. I told the manicurist not to file my nails. But he started to do it. I asked him 3 to stop. 3rd time he stopped but did use a sand block to sand down the top of my nail. They use cheap products. My nails were goopy with nail polish. Never dried. I had to go home and remove their polish and start over again. Will not return. read more

I would not recommend this nail place ever. I had called and ask how much for a full set but I will be bringing my own tips and the guy that answered the phone said it would be $25. I was excited to try a new place and when my friend and I walked in the man was friendly. We sat down and my friend started to get her nails we pulled out the our own nail tips and they said that would be $30. I told them that I had called and he said it was $25 on the phone and that is the reason we went there. The nail techs started to argue,making u feel as if they done want to do ur nails and then everything was an issue to them. I asked for a nail brush to clean my hands first and they told me wait and never brought it to me. The people that work there are the rudest laziest and had the worst customer service I have ever seen at a nail place. These people will tell u one thing on the phone and another when u get there.
