Martin does my nails, and he's always kind, professional, and somehow manages to bring my random little nail ideas to life. One thing I really appreciate is how open he is to feedback. You never know how a nail tech will take it when you want to tweak something, but Martin always listens and makes adjustments without making it uncomfortable. That's huge for me because it makes the whole experience feel easy and respectful. The whole team is attentive too. They've offered me water every visit, and sometimes even snacks while I'm there. It's those small touches that make the place feel welcoming. The spa chairs are a hit btw, and I also love the mini hand/foot massage at the end. It's such a nice extra. Yen does my pedicures, and she's wonderful too. She's thorough, gentle, and consistently does a great job. I know gel nails with designs can get expensive fast, but M Nails Studio has been really fair with pricing, especially for the quality and detail. I had to ask several times for things to be fixed that I've never had to ask at a nail salon (can you cut this cuticle?) Girl doing my pedicure looked 18, and basically painted my whole toe then went back and removed polish from around the nail? Which is completely obvious on my nails. Had her hair down and had strings of hair getting in polish while she's painting , and on my feet. Also the woman stood over me at checkout time and pointed to the tip, then stared what I was putting in for the tip. Extremely uncomfortable experience. Won't be back . I noticed the prices were constantly changing and I frequently felt like I was being overcharged. What ultimately made me stop going, though, was developing a SERIOUS fungal infection in my toenails. Two of my toenails became so damaged that I essentially lost them. I brought the issue to their attention right when it started & they said I could take vitamins & it would go away.... When I brought the issue to the salon's attention, instead of showing concern or taking any accountability, I was told it was simply something I must have contracted on my own. I was also left with the impression that it would eventually go away. It didn't. Once I finally went to a doctor, I was immediately told that the infection was consistent w/ something contracted from a nail salon and that I needed to stop getting my nails done while it was treated. I really wish I had been encouraged to seek medical attention sooner instead of having my concerns brushed off, because I may have been able to prevent the amount of damage that occurred. After spending years as a customer, the lack of concern and accountability was extremely disappointing. Nail salons have a responsibility to take sanitation seriously, and when a longtime client raises a health concern this significant, it should not simply be dismissed.

What sets them apart from other places is that they really care about your nail health (won't overdrill/overbuff, very careful with removals, etc). For my birthday, my friend and I decided to get our nails done together, and I thought Organic Nail House was the best place to go. Julie was my tech that day, and she was absolutely lovely. I got hard gel nails done in Japan, and it took awhile to remove, but she handled it with such care. My nails still felt strong. I chose to do white 002 with #13 chrome and it turned out so beautiful!!! I am literally obsessed with this new color and can't stop looking at it in the light!!! I may want to just do this combination every single time!! The salon itself is a very relaxing environment. Especially coming on a weekday, it was extra peaceful and lovely. Also, the owners of this place were very nice and cleared up the misunderstanding we had during my first appt. I appreciated the genuine and kind follow up from them, which means a lot to me! While I eventually switched to gel and didn't mind it, part of the reason I continued coming was because I live nearby and the location is convenient. What has been most disappointing is that I appear to have been blocked from calling the salon. When I try to call from my phone, the calls do not go through, but they do when I use a different phone. I have no idea why this would be the case, as I have always been polite and respectful. At my last appointment, the owner ended up fixing my nail because the salon seemed extremely short-staffed. When I first came in to have the nail repaired, I waited about 30 minutes before being told to return another day. I did not get upset or cause a scene, I simply came back as requested. Throughout my visits, I have been patient but my nails kept chipping. As a business owner myself, I understand that staffing shortages and operational challenges happen. I appreciated that they eventually fixed the nail, especially since I had experienced repeated chipping that appeared to be related to newer products being used. It's also sad to see so many of the original team members no longer there. Walked in at 4:10pm and got a pleasant, warm welcome from Jamy and her husband Nick. The salon was empty except one other woman doing her pedicure. Vast selection of nail polish colors. Regular and gel. Jamy, told me to take a seat, and without an appointment they welcomed me with open arms. Nick, her husband did my pedicure, and did heck of a great job!! He was also very funny. He was professional, knew his job well and was extremely meticulous about his work. They have 4 chairs to do their manicure, and 5 massage chairs to do their pedicure. Thankfully, the TV was on and it was not the depressing, sad, violent news. They were showing Americas got Talent. Also, soft music would have been nice to listen too. After he was done with my pedicure Jamy, took me inside their room where they do waxing. I needed to wax my under arms, and eye brows. She did a great job; and for both services they charged me $58.00. Even though they are the business owners, I still tipped them well. Place was super clean, with cute decor here and there. Parking shared with other businesses, and one gender neutral restroom also very clean. She even gave me a $2.00 off for my waxing. My only critique is that the massage that Nick did on my legs/feet was too short. Didn't even last 3 minutes. I also like the pressure to be medium to medium hard. He hand strong hands, but didn't deliver. I will definitely visit this salon when I am in the area. Highly recommend to others.
