The guy working there was rude and would to put an acrylic tip on when I asked because the acrylic was lifted up. Instead of doing what I asked, he refused saying it was unnecessary. He called over a girl that works there and they were talking about me and my rest, in there language. I could tell because he made a gesture with my finger and he said "tip" in English. I still tipped him but knew the nail would crack. a few days later it cracked off and there is a fungus in 5 of my fingers under the acrylic but they were not lifted. The brush or grinding tool was unsanitary. If someone refuses to listen to a customer's request, do not use them again. read more

Mary greeted and seated me in a few minutes and got to work as I watched Dr Phil on the medium sized mounted LCD TV. My hands looked or look SO CLEAN and pretty after she got done with me. And she didnt fret about my bringing my own polish. She encouraged me to relax as long as I wanted to be sure my nails were dry before leaving. $10 is typical for a decent manicure complete with heated towels and massage. I have been coming to Nail Tyme since they opened over 12 years ago. Corey has been doing my nails for just over 14 years now and he's always done an EXCELLENT job on them. The place I used to get my nails done at, also in Corona, used to tell me I needed a new set almost every 3 or 4 months which seemed excessive to me. When Corey did my nails at this "other" nail salon I asked if I needed a new set, he said no. This really made me question the honesty and integrity of this "other" nail salon that I had been going to for a couple of years. I came here to get my nails done between duty stations. I am Active Duty Navy and we have nail regulations. I let them know ahead of time that I needed to see what the colors looked like on the actual nail instead of their pictures samples which are all on thick plastic so the color comes out different. They assured me that it would be fine. So the guy starts dipping my nails and the color is showing up bright pink. And I tell him, no this color isn't going to work. So he calls the manager over and she starts raising her voice saying that it looks fine and it doesn't matter because the color is nice. I explained to her that it does in fact matter because it looks very pink and I wanted something nude and natural looking. She told me I could leave and charged me for removing my previous set but it's dip powder so now I have to have the new set they did removed in order to fix it. I loved it here! They had a ton of options for SNS, and the customer service here was great! The prices are so reasonable, and it's not a "get what you pay for" type place. came in to get my nails done yesterday before I go on vacation, my job doesn't let me have any nails/nail polish so it was nice to have a great full set done being the first time I've had them done in over a year. I got a square shaped full set with only medium pink powder and they look great. I've visited this nail salon several times since I've loved in this area. I enjoy going there. The staff is always friendly and they do a good job. I've only gotten pedicures there and love it. I always get the European pedi service and it runs about $28. It includes callus treatment and citrus scrub and it's so nice. Nail polish color selection is great. I had a hard time choosing because there were so many cute ones. The look of the store is fine. Nothing fancy. It was clean as far as I could see. The massage chairs are really nice. During my visit today I had Jenny as my all tech. She was very friendly. She made light conversation and made sure to check on me to make sure I was comfortable.
