A place almost 5 stars for me. AFTER reading Jill + Shara's reviews. I went there with other 2 girls for my best friend's birthday. I talked to Mr. Hou 2 days before my reservation. He is very nice and sweet, especially I told me PLEASE PLEASE take care of my friend since this will be her first nail salon in the U.S. on that day, my friend loves this place. They did a good job. However, the only problem is the manger on the duty is not kind at all. we spend almost 300 on that day because we bought the best program for her. we didnt really check what they did or what they didnt. the lady who helped my birthday friend forgot what we bought, and she just gave her the basic mei+ peduicure.......so she tried to fix after we done all french nails. and she is not going to tell us. just right before she gonna put wax on my friend's hand.... we stop them( for sure, who will put wax on after u just done your nails) the manager on duty, she is not kind at all, she didnt think that is a problem although I told her today is my friend's birthday, we want her feel good and get the best. She didn't say sorry or anything, she only give us $ 5 back. ( i very regret of paying them 20% tips before everything is done). i really want to give them a one star, but i can,t . if i do that one star thing by my anger, I am not a yelper and I SHOULDN'T use yelp anymore. I like the girl, summer, she is nice and kind. she made the perfect french nails for me and it last for 8 days. the place is nice and a lot of color choices . i will go back for summer, but i will just walk out if I see the manger is there. read more

I love this nail salon but it is a little bit pricier than my normal place. I only come here when I can't get into my regular salon. A gel manicure and regular pedicure + 20% tip= $76. The massage portion of the pedicure is awesome! Super friendly and lots of chairs so there isn't a lot of waiting either. They offer an organic manicure that looks intriguing as well. read more

This salon is my new go-to spot. The customer service was excellent. I went in for a pedicure and had Renee as my tech. She and everyone in the salon were so kind. They obviously do great work and have a good relationship with their clients because several people came in and the staff were able to greet them by name. The salon has a computer check-in system where you can select your service and a preferred tech. I got the Spa Pedicure which was $35 and it was completed in about an hour. I really appreciate the fact that they use timers so that you're getting the full length of your massage. I am very impressed with how clean and organized everything is as well. read more

Went in on Thursday which was 30 minutes before closing so I slightly understand. Yet the Gold color is the color i came out with. I thought i had stuff on my toes and it was polish. I came back today(after i said i would never try them again) the pink color is the color they did. I begged the lady to please cut my toes correctly she wouldn't said she could make me an appointment. My feet look painted better but i just want my nails painted correctly and the nails cut rite. I am not happy at all. I wasted my money and the polish is still on the sides of my toes and everything. Why did I pay $40 to have my nails looking like this. The paint from my last pedicure was still on my feet. I am so upset i am leaving this review while in the parking lot. This is the 3rd time I give up on them. Poor service and not clean. I attached a picture I took as I waited for my nails to dry (lint brush with dead cockroches on it). My regular place was full, so I only went in for a pedicure thinking it'd be full proof- nope. Polish was sloppy, and my toenails were cut unevenly. It only got worse when the nail tech rushed me to pay and forced me to write the tip amount on the bill. He did not earn it, but I felt pressured into it. Plain and simple: they do not clean their equipment very well- if at all. I have gone here about 5 times and thought it was a pretty good, average nail salon. I actually loved that they had a large selection of dip powder colors... but after this most recent visit I was noticing severe swelling, redness, pain and itchiness on two of my fingers near the cuticle. I went to the doctor because it didn't go away after a few weeks & didn't look like any little cut or scrape I've ever gotten from a nail salon before. Long story short I got a nasty infection from this nail salon & have to go on antibiotics. I am a germ freak so this absolutely disgusts me. I'm thankful it's not staph, but who knows what else is crawling around that salon. Just beware, even if you've had good experiences here... because I actually loved this salon up until this happened! Oh and it was the shorter man did my nails... it definitely looked like he hadn't cleaned his kit in ages. He's also not friendly at all- I believe his name is Tom. read more

Everyone is so nice and they have so many options for Dipping powder(nexgen). I think this is going to be my go to spot now! And they are affordable! So happy I stumbled across this nail salon!! I have lived in the Greenville/Knox/Upton area for almost 8 years and have tried dozens of nail salons to finally find THE ONE. The owner, Hao answered the phone with delight and said to come on in (I didn't have an appointment). I was then greeted by several wonderful people that helped me find a color and led me to my chair (it's not like it was a ghost town and I'm the only person they had to take care of...they were genuinely happy and eager to assist). Thu was my nail tech, I got Nexgen dip w design and she was so sweet, made me feel right and home, and performed a miracle with my nails (I'm a recovering nail biter)! :) Annie did my gel pedicure and genuinely cared about creating an excellent experience for me and did my toes perfectly!! Overall, the customer experience, hospitality, and talent of this salon was second to none. What a breath of fresh air. Thank you Nail Works for bringing the joy back to "nail day". I called to say we would be there 5 mins late, they said they had let all their techs go for the evening. Even though they are supposed to be open for another 2 hours as per their website. I have always had a good experience here. I really appreciate that they stay open later than most nail salons. It allows me the time to get what I need to get done and end the day relaxing and spoiling myself a little. I was in and out really quick, which is also a perk for me. I cant say enough good things about this salon. My roommate and I came in for dip manicures. I also got my toes down and they did a phenomenal job. Janet and JC cleaned, buffed, and painted the best I have ever seen. I never write reviews but their work motivated me to-- like that's how good they were. I feel like a brand new person leaving this salon, no joke. No sloppy work, super friendly, and actually such a quality job. I will absolutely go back. They should give me a better technician since it's my first time & if they want me to come back. The person who initially started the pedi clearly needs some training but was super nice.Then the person who took over was not friendly at all and didn't really do a much better job. Had an appointment for a specific nail tech, and after waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time, I was paired with someone that was not who my appointment was supposed to be with. My nails are uneven after FOUR layers of dip powder, and extremely short because they were cut down more than I wanted. If you expect to have returning customers, I highly recommend you fix your wait situation because it's absolutely not worth anyone's time or money to sit there for an hour and a half and end up with a subpar manicure. read more

I went her on a Friday after work and the decor of the place is really great. There was a guy in the front who was super friendly and helpful with finding a color. But my manicurist Lee did a HORRIBLE job with my nails. I got a gel manicure and it was starting to come off by Sunday (3 days!). I went back on Tuesday and showed the front desk guy and he agreed that it was unacceptable. I waited and got Lee again. Who was very rude this time around, and unwilling to try to understand (a slight language barrier), when I tried to get the guy to explain for her.
