Terrible experience. Got a standard dip manicure. Upon leaving, I noticed my nail did not fully cure. Went back in and they fixed it. However, they thinned my nails out so much in the process that I had four of my NATURAL long nails break in a week. One of which broke down into the skin and now I have a bleeding injury which may require a Dr. visit to prevent potential infection. These broke by just doing ordinary daily things, very easily. Nail on left hand ring finger is the one which is the worst and very painful. All I did was hit my nail again my arm and it broke down into the skin. read more

This is not the place to go. First visit was fine and they did a good job with fair prices. Next time we went, there were no price lists...anywhere. When I asked for one I was told I could come back the next day for one. Obviously was not doing that. What they charged us for a fill was wrong and not even what we had done. They overcharged on purpose. The fill was more than a full set. We got out to the car and could see there was a hair in the fill and it was very poorly done, extremely thick. One nail broke of the next day. Went back in and got half my money back. They are scammy and will try and cheat you, be aware. read more

I tried many nail salons in DTSP area before I found Nail Zone. They are the most consistent, imo. Rose always does my pedi, and she already knows what I want when I sit down. She's EXCELLENT and I always enjoy my pedicure. Recently I had a full set of acrylics, and Holly & Anne both do a very nice job. Square and thick. I always feel uncomfortable micro managing mail techs, but sometimes it has to be done. I don't like my nails. The tips are wider then the base, the mail is glued to my skin, my cuticles weren't even cut. And they filed too high and cut my cuticle. There's gel on top of my skin. Extremely disappointed. Went into Nail Zone this morning because my regular salon was fully booked and I was on a time limit. I went in with extra long acrylics and asked for them to be cut down to a medium long length. My nails were basically completely cut off, and after trying to communicate that they were too short sent on my way home. I asked to sit down and get a full set to rectify the situation because of how terrible they looked and they said I just needed to wait 30 minutes. Once I was sat down I was given a gel change, and told it would be another 2+ hours to get another set. They offered me a discount on a full set and to come back Monday. Worst gel mani I've ever had. Chose a dark color which needs three coats. Nope. Didn't cover whole mail completely and didn't remove color fr my skin or cuticles. The sterilization is 30% out of 100% I went there yesterday and was charged 55 dollars for my gel toes and the lady there cut my toe with the nail filer so bad I couldn't even stick my foot back in because the water burned so bad. Couldn't enjoy my pedicure and they didn't even have the colors I wanted. Got my nails done too and I ended up staying from 12 pm. To 4pm. Because they kept trying to find somebody that could do my nails. 130$ and not worth it I was in pain the whole time and just wanted to relax! Also for an update my fullset what was 66 dollars that I got done yesterday is already lifting and holly did them. So upset with this service!!!! Super pleased with this salon. I've only been twice but both times i was very happy with the results. Today i had Thu and she did an amazing job. I got a full set acrylic manicure with gel polish. $70 for a gel French manicure and a regular pedi with callus removal...$5 more...$5 more. They charged $5 more to remove my old polish that wasn't even gel from my toes only!!!! This just seems incredibly high for me. I will say I like the place though. They are very professional, very clean and I probably won't go anywhere else here in St. Pete. But I will definitely be more careful about adding anything on. The $5 to take off my polish from my toes was what really got me. They cut me very badly and then the lady decide to put some crusty ass powder all over my nail and said it was better and it wasn't better she didn't even feel bad she just kept doing her thing and my friend The nail lady kept ruining her nails and saying she wasn't going to redo them it would cost an extra five dollars and overall the nail job was pretty decent just the interactions in the cutting wasn't so I say if you don't mind bleeding or paying money then go here. Went back again with my fiancé. We both got an amazing pedicure and I got a french gel manicure. They paid so much attention to detail and I'm pretty darn picky. The foot and leg massage is one of the best we've had. My fiancé is on his feet all day so this was a well needed treat. He was so surprised at how relaxing this was and even hours later he complimented on how impressed he was with the foot massage. After reading all of their reviews I was excited to check this place out and make it my new go to spot. Unfortunately. I was greatly disappointed. I walked in and wasn't even greeted. I signed in and asked what the wait time was and they told me 10 minutes. No problem. They took FIVE other clients (that came in AFTER me) first so finally 45 minutes later I was seated. I understand it's busy but come on. The first person to start cut my nail so deep he made me bleed. Not like a drop of blood but full on cut. The second person filled my cuticles and also cut me. They kept getting up and servicing other clients as I waited for my set to get done. I asked for long and thick nails and got short and thin. Each nail is basically a different shape. It was my first time going here and I'll never go back. They don't even have nail dryers . After sitting there with my hands under a table fan for 15 mins I went to leave for my nails to mess up a second time I had to go back in and ask them To just take it off and leave it with no color . Asked for My Money back she said she couldn't and I can come back for a re polish ?? Why would I do that when the same thing would happen because they don't have nail dryers !! I was looking for something close by to where we're staying on vacation to get a pedicure. We called ahead to set and appointment with no problems. When we showed up we were immediately seated in comfy massage chairs with perfect temperature water and offered something to drink. The staff got right to work on our feet. The basic package was more than just a basic pedicure and they paid special attention to our toes! The foot massage was nice and my toes haven't looked this good in a long time. Don't do it. Their technicians are very hit or miss. Just left in tears, wheezing, and with only one foot buffed, all because I have a lavender allergy. Yes, it was my fault I forgot to double check if they used any products with it, but how it was handled after is was what made it so horrible. The young man acted as if there was something majorly wrong with me, along with other customers and his coworkers. He forgot to buff one of my feet, and the pedicure only lasted a total of 20-25 minutes. When I left and tried to share my feedback, the front desk person had no clue and was no help. When I called and was connected with the manager/owner, she wasn't helpful either. My issue wasn't with paying, but the quality of what I was paying for and how I felt while a customer, and upon leaving, is what's so upsetting. No one should ever be made to feel so uncomfortable. read more
