This place actually does great work. It's unfortunate how unprofessional they are. First of all, you can't get in unless you book 2-3 weeks in advance. Then the first time I finally got an appointment they kept pushing back my appointment the day of until it was an hour and a half later. They said one of their techs called out. My time is valuable just like everyone else. I let it go even though it totally screwed up my work day. I went to book again and there was no availability for over 2 weeks. My nails and pedicure in super bad condition but wanted to go back and give them another chance. I sucked it up. Once again THE DAY OF my appointment gets changed from 11:45 to 11. I accept to be accommodating. Then I get a call 10 min prior to my appointment that the tech "had an emergency" and now I can't go until 12:30. Also, I can only get my nails done and not my pedicure. So unprofessional! My second experience and it happens again? This is no coincidence, they are incredibly unorganized. I had an important event this weekend and now I have to scramble to hopefully find someone to take me in before then. I do not recommend this place if you expect your appointment to happen on time or for it to happen at all. Super disappointed in you guys. I can't understand how you run a business like this. You do great work but that doesn't mean you can treat people's time like this. Get it together. read more

Finally I found my favorite nail place in Miami !!!. First I was afraid of parking, but they have plenty of space either on the street and in a shopping center right next to them. The salon is very clean and the managers and the ladies are very nice, Carolina is awesome, she did a very relaxing pedicure which I needed and a great gel manicure (see picture) for 50 bucks, very reasonable for such an excellent service, and they offer complementary drinks. This place is so unprofessional. If I could give it zero stars, I would. I had an appointment at 2 today but family complications came up and I forgot about it. I got a call asking if I'm coming in and I explained my situation the best I could but I got cut off by whatever boy was working the front by saying 'WOOOW' and hung up without even asking if I wanted to reschedule, which I did. I wish I could say that I liked the place. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the service and the what seemed to be the owners of Nailbox. My nail appointment with the nail tech began with my feet and did not begin well. She was extremely distracted, looking all round except the area that she was supposed to be looking at, my nails and the work she was doing. She was also constantly on her phone to the point where the owner called her attention in front of the whole salon. The tech's nail instruments where not in a sterile pouch and we're thrown in her bin. I asked if they were sterilized and another tech said they were, even though they really didn't look sterilized at all. Fast forward to my hands, she began the process as normal. I did Gel Manicure. When she went to apply the base she had, I asked if she had the brand Gelish (I had seen another tech use this brand on her client), the owner came over and brought the base I asked for and she began her work. After about 5 minutes, the owner came come over and asked me how I even knew about that brand and why I didn't want to use the other brand. I explained to him that I usually use the brand Gelish because no other gel brand lasts on my nails and I saw another tech there use the brand. He replied with "well that's a very expensive product and that nail tech buys it herself because of how expensive it is." While finishing off my nails, I overheard the two male owners speaking about me, they were saying that I was crazy for wanting the base coat I asked for and proceeded to mouth off about me. At the end of my appointment, I went to pay and the nail tech that attended me went to charge me, she said everything was $70 and I asked why, I was under the impression that everything was $50 because that is what they say on their website. She was confused and explained that the price before was $65 and they had just increased the price to $70 and called one of the male owners over. He asked what I got done and explained to him I got Gel Mani and regular pedi. He said that the total was $65 for those services. I explained to him that his website said otherwise and he said that their website was very old and he hadn't updated it and I would know that they charge $65 for these services because when you make your appointment through Instagram it tells you. I proceeded to explain to him that I made my appointment over the phone as I don't have an Instagram account. Overall, I was charged $65 with a 3% convenience fee for using my credit card. The nail tech lied about the amount of the services and their website clearly had false information. The nail tech did a good job on my nails overall, I had no complaints on the work on my actual nails. Professionalism and services definitely needed to be better. I was definitely not pleased with the customer service and lack of professionalism in this nail salon. read more

I've never left a bad review in my life but i had to after my experience at Nailbox. I have gone to Nailbox 3 times and all 3 times i have arrived and they "mistakenly" had me written in their schedule at a later time than I booked and on my confirmation, making me wait 40+ minutes every time, however i returned because I liked the technician, Andrea. Today it happened again and i waited an hour and 10 minutes, but again I looked past it until i went to pay and there was a $30 pay increase that I was unaware about and when i questioned it there was a ridiculous explanation. About added fees for services i had previously gotten and never costed more. Needless to say I will not be returning. read more

Had the most wonderful experience at Nail Box! I have lived in Brickell for 8 years and I have always had to drive as far as Coral Gables for a decent nail salon. Nail Box has all the latest colors, offers dip (for a better price than anywhere else) OPI gel, and acrylic! The salon has an intimate boutique vibe, is clean, and aesthetic wise ON POINT! They also have a technician that does brows and facials. Definitely my new go to spot. It's less than a 5 minute drive from Brickell. read more

Literally just called to ask for a quote on a dip fill in and the guy was INCREDIBLY RUDE. He seemed annoyed to even be talking to me and just wanted to get off the phone. He was telling me no because I didn't originally do it there and he's giving me the run around saying they probably they don't have the colour. I then mentioned its funny bunny and he was like oh yes we have it and still insisted I cannot get the fill-in and would be forced to redo it. I'm kind of in a rush today and don't have too much time to spend on this but have an important meeting tomorrow so I need to get this done. When I finally gave in and asked the price he said $40 and was super pompous saying I won't find anything cheaper. I then proceeded to tell him there's somewhere else that does a great job in South Miami that charges only $35 he then got super aggressive and told me to then go to them. This guy is the worst customer service person, he needs to get a new day job. I can imagine this business will eventually be suffering due to this attitude. read more
