I really wanted a pedicure after being at the beach all weekend, so I settled for trying another place that had decent reviews.... BIG MISTAKE! I called and asked if they had availability for a pedicure, the lady who answered said " Yes, in ten minutes, see you then." I walked as fast as possible to get there and picked my nail color. Possibly the worst "classic" pedicure I have ever had. I try not to go to salons on the beach because they're all pretty terrible. This one hit a new low. I made an appointment for my spouse and me for classic pedicures. They sit us down and immediately start cutting the nails, on dry beds, they push the cuticles back, no soaking. After they've pushed the cuticle back, then they soak your feet. Soak is a stretch, they put your feet in water and immediately start working on them. A little scrubbing a pat dry and then directly to nail polish. My spouse got a little massage and some moisturizer while I got none of that. Once polish is done, they leave you sitting in the chair, your feet resting on the wet towel till you lose your patience. So, for $40, you get a 10 min express service billed as a "classic." No soap scrub, no moisturizer, very poor quality nail care, the polish looks like I do at home. Didn't wrap the polish, didn't even get to the sides. Look at the pictures. Go to Sky Nails, at least for $42 you'll get a normal pedicure not some lazy, half-assed thing that I got here. I left very angry at being taken for a ride by extremely lazy amateurs. These great reviews are either for manicures or they're fake. read more

I was so embarrassed and hesitant to go into any salon with the state of my nails. I reached out via IG with questions on what method would be best for my nails because of the damage they had incurred. The owner was super sweet. She responded quickly, went over several options with me and helped me feel rest assured, comfortable, and confident in booking my appointment. Once there, the nail tech not only made me feel comfortable and not judged, but she also took such great care with attention to detail, even mapped how we can continue care that supports health and growth moving forward. Before moving onto the gel aprex, she spent at least an hour tending to my nail beds, cuticles etc - making sure my nails were actually cared for before just covering them up to make them look better. I got a manicure and pedicure that day, and both ladies did an amazing job between my manicure and pedicure, idk the last time I left a salon feeling this good! I called to get a refund and they refused and said to come in and they'd redo my nails. I was already out of town for the wedding. They didn't care. Never in my experience of getting gel manicures, including this exact color has this ever happened. Also, the nail techs were fighting with each other most of the time about who didn't clean what the day before. Extremely unprofessional. Not to mention the whole thing is so expensive considering how run down the place is and the quality of the services and the unprofessional nail techs arguing - ruining an otherwise relaxing experience. $45 for basic pedi and $35 for this disgraceful gel manicure. It pains me to leave a less than perfect review for this place because of how excited I was to find "my salon" But the search continues .... The first time I came I got a perfect dip manicure ... and was looking forward to getting a pedicure next time with the same tech as I had a lovely conversation with her in Russian. Today I came in and they were nice enough to take me in without an appointment because I broke a nail. While my nail was soaking they asked a tech to do the nail for me, I got worried because last time a client who was having her nails done at the same time as me asked to have them redone for her because she wasn't happy. But I also thought maybe it was just that one client. I picked a sparkly color instead of trying to match my nail color. But I was hoping the shape would at least be similar ... the pictures speak for themselves. The salon looks beautiful, service is great. And everyone is friendly.
