This is probably the best organic nail spa I've ever been to. Things that I love in no particular order: 1. The spa is free from chemically smells that you would typically find in a nail salon which is a big plus because I would normally get a headache from the smells. 2. I got the #4 pedicure "natural herbal elegant spa pedicure" and it was delightful! It included fresh lemons and an herbal sugar scrub where I could actually see the herbs! It was like aromatherapy and an amazing exfoliating massage in one. They offer peppermint, rosemary, rose, lavender, lemongrass or eucalyptus as choices for the herbal scrub. I had the rosemary and it was great. 3. The technician who did our nails was warm and inviting. 4. Some of their pedicure offerings go above what you would normally expect, like a paraffin foot treatment. 5. Finally, the massage was above average. A lot of times I find technicians massage too fast and vigorously for it to be enjoyable but the technician's technique was deep, steady, and relaxing. This is my new "go to" nail salon in north Scottsdale. I say this for many reasons. One major reason is that they offer a phenomenal "detox" pedicure. It is outstanding. So nice to feel and know I'm actually doing something to benefit my body health wise whilst also enjoying a pleasurable pedicure and maintaining great personal hygiene. Also, my old nail salon a short distance away is under new ownership, and neither the service nor quality was the same so I decided it was time to try something new. So glad I did. They were extremely accommodating to a friend of mine whilst he was in town from LA, and he is difficult to please. The fact that he was so happy with his pedicure was also quite impressive to me. Pls see my latest check in photo so see the great variety of colors they have to choose from on their "color wall." All pedicure massage chairs are not created equal. Not to date myself, but I have been enjoying pedicures in the valley for over 25 years, and Nailganic's chairs are among the best I have found valley-wide. They have many options available with regard to the level of pedicure you want, whether you want gel or traditional polish. Dip is also available for your manicures. This salon also has an easy to use computerized reward program. You simply type in your phone number to view rewards, accrue points, etc. It is so much nicer than the traditional punch cards/stamp cards salons have used in the past. I have no complaints at all that I can think of with regard to the caliber of their work or customer service. They are all around brilliant. My husband, daughter, and I went in today for a family pedicure date and had such a great time! My daughter is already a regular here since it's closer to home, but I'm so glad we made the drive to join her this time. The salon is spotless, the staff was so kind, and the attention to detail was fantastic. We all got Pedicure #3 and really enjoyed it. It was peaceful and not loud or hectic like a lot of the Scottsdale salons can be, which made it super relaxing. Afterwards we grabbed sandwiches next door--there are a bunch of cute lunch spots in the shopping center that make it a perfect little outing. First visit Gel Service done on Tuesday, May 27th, started chipping on Friday May 31st. Apt for 3:30. I'm one of 3 customers. Requested gel mani/pedi. Pedicure began after I was asked if I wanted my eyebrows done. I said no, she leans in exams my brows and says "you need it". She's right, I do, but I want a brow professional to do all the things so I was growing them out. Although none of her business, I let her know the comment was not very nice. She was surprised by the correction and apologized by telling me she isn't mean. She began pedicure on dry feet. Removing polish, trimming nails, removing cuticles. I have never experienced that before... when I was told to put one foot in the water it was piping hot. In her defense she asked if I liked hot water, I said yes, but not hot enough to take my skin off. Meanwhile another lady is doing my gel manicure. Both required the infrared light. So, while dipping feet in and out of the water, I am maneuvering feet and hands to accommodate their instructions. Juggling their devices and positioning per request. After painting my toes, the lady (eyebrow comment) placed the infrared device on my wet toenail. She said I did something to make that happen. I could not move as one of my hands was in device in my lap. I was afraid I would drop it in the water. Had I requested a rush, I could see this being necessary, but I did not. Nothing about this experience was relaxing but expensive for what I got. Finally the website says $10 off first visit. That did not happen. And, they have a surcharge of 3% for credit cards. Something you don't know until you check out. That's the last $115 I will spend for less than basic work! read more

I would never recommend this establishment. We arrived early. They told us to come back on time. No problem then we sat around and waited for them to "start" over 15 minutes later. when I called I requested to have the nails and the toes at the same time, this absolutely did not happen. I kept on asking when they would start my nails. They should've at least started taking off what I had during the pedicure and that did not happen. Honestly, when we first sat down, we looked around and had a feeling that we should've left and cut our losses in time. Their pedicure chairs massage we're horrible. They barely worked. Honestly, there were so many signs that we should've just left. I could go on and on this was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I honestly cannot believe that for two people I paid almost $400. My nails look like absolute crap. They are uneven and the shortest I've ever had them! Everything was an up charge and we did not get what we wanted Save your money and Time somewhere else this place is a disaster. I wish that I could contest my money and how I even gave them a tip is beyond me, but we just wanted to get the hell out of there since we were there almost 3 hours. Unbelievable. Lesson learned. Now I have to wait a month or so for my nails to grow out to a normal length instead they look like tree stumps. read more

Worst service. Went in for acrylic toenails. I let them know I needed to be out by 45 minutes and if they were going to have time to do it, they said yes I also didn't like how they push me to get a more expensive package even after I told them I needed to be out. Haven't gotten a manicure in a long time and my nails were growing out nicely, so I decided to get one. This place was nearby so I stopped in (walk-ins welcome). I went with the classic manicure and chose my color: OPI Live Love Carnaval which is a pretty orange/pink shade, perfect for the summer. My nail technician shaped, filed and buffed my nails, massaged my hands with lotion, and did quick work applying the base coat, two coats of polish, and the top coat. I asked her to redo my thumb cuz it didn't turn out great and she did that quickly and efficiently as well. Nails came out great and the value of the price was fair at $15. I'd like to return for a pedicure since I've never gotten one of those! There's a check-in offer to pay for a pedicure and receive a free manicure, so I'll have to utilize that another time. read more

She was a kind woman that was willing to try something different for my nail art as well. I will definitely be back next time I am in town. I will add after reviewing my charges I was slightly overcharged for the service which when I called I was told that it could have been the fees or taxes. She is so sweet and has the patience needed for this kind of detailed work. I got a standard dip manicure from a man that works here as well and it lasted a super long time, which I really appreciate since I have a tight budget. He also gave a pretty good pedicure-- though I thought it was a *bit* pricey at $54 plus tip for a gel pedi. I am visiting Scottsdale and had the BEST pedicure. I love that they use organic scents for the water (you get to choose your scent). Tony gave me the best pedicure ever! I had looked up on the shelf and noticed a number of political chochkas, all with the same politician's face. The owner asked me if I liked it. I told her not really. She then proceeded with her questioning what happened to America? We've lost our freedoms. The media manipulates. I was getting more and more annoyed at her confrontation. She said a lot of people don't like it and don't come in anymore, but she didn't care. It's her opinions. On top of that, the website prices don't match the salon's. When I questioned her about that, her response was that it wasn't her website. It was the previous owners and couldn't be changed. Not sure what that meant. She did give me the cheaper price. I was so excited to take my daughter to get her nails done. We were out doing an afternoon of Christmas shopping and were filled with the Christmas spirit. We decided to go get mani pedis and my daughter was getting nails out on, since we are on break regarding sports. We called and got an appointment for both of us at Nailganic, which we thought in itself was nothing short of a miracle. I opted for a mani pedi and went to sit in the big massage chair. My daughter was having nails put on. She told me she wanted a light sage color put on. I donated before she did and patiently waited for her. Once she finished up, as we were walking to the car, she started to get very emotional. We sat in the car and she burst out in tears. The man that was doing her nails was extremely rough with her hands, fingers and nails. She showed me finger after finger where this barbaric man either cut her fingers and did a terrible job with glue. As a nearly 50 year old man myself and someone that has never done nails, after inspecting this hack job, I feel I might be able to do a better job if I had all the tools at my disposal. I asked her about the color and she said that it isn't the color she asked for. 3+ strikes: hurt/cut fingers and a barbaric way of doing a child's nails = strike 1. An insane amount of glue all over the fingers beyond the nails = strike 2 and not using the nail polish color asked for = strike 3! I wish she told me this before I left them a hefty tip. She is so upset about this that she refused to walk back inside with me to get them to correct it. I hate leaving a bad review but sometimes a business earns it. Here is a bad review for a very bad experience. Avoid Nailganic at all costs. read more
