It felt like nail polish heaven when I walked through the doors. I went to Nail Supply House on Valley for the longest time and everything was just the same. They didn't carry some collections I wished to see. Ahem, Hunger Games. Sure, it's a really small store, but they have aisles and stands of polishes and nail art supplies. Seriously, I bought more in 10 minutes here than I would ever at Nail Supply House. Their selections are great and they are NEAT. Their polishes are organized by their color palettes so they were really easy to find! Definitely a great gem. :) Parking is amazing as well! My only thing with them is that they're a tad more expensive than Nail Supply House, but I'm okay with that. They have better service (employees that smile at you and look welcoming!) and they're super clean! :) read more

I've been coming here to pick up my nail needs! The prices are decent and the employees there are pretty helpful. I believe there is a language barrier at times. I have called to the store a few times to check if they had a product in store but the employee was a little rude because he couldn't hear him since he was talking very low. They have a lot of different nail polish brands but my go to brands are usually DND and Caramia since they tend to be cheaper and they both come with the gel and regular polish in a combo pack! The place is pretty small and packed with a lot of stuff so if you are claustrophobic you might want to go during non-busy hours. read more

This place is awesome! Everything you need for nail care at a salon or at home. Everything is VERY affordable compared to other places like Sally's Beauty Supply and drugstores when it comes to nail polish prices. They have top brands like OPI and Essie for great prices. I will be back to splurge on a UV light and gel polish so I can do my own nails at home from now on. The other yelpers are right about the aisles being small. They had their grand opening recently, and I was super excited to check it out. It's really nice here - not very big, but it doesn't feel cramped, it's well-lit, and it's very clean. For nail polish, they stock Essie (about $3), China Glaze ($2.5), Orly (about $3), CND (not sure how much), OPI (about $8 but there's a 30% off grand opening special), and some but not a lot of other random ones. They also have Seche Vite top coat for $2 full size. Good deal! The color selection for Essie is the biggest I've seen as nail polish supply stores so far. Their not organized or labeled, though, so you have to flip the polishes over to see what the names are. Maybe they'll get a display rack for them one day - I don't know. Some of the Essie polishes are a little old - you can see the oil separated at the top - but it's not too bad. Their selection for Orly, OPI, and China Glaze are not as big as Nail Supply House, but they're still sizable. But they're on display racks and are generally organized by the names. They have most of the new collections, too, like NY Ballet for OPI and the Hunger Games Capitol Colors for China Glaze. The prices are cheaper than normal, except for OPI - which is normal at $8, but they currently have the 30% off discount. Not sure how long that'll last, though. The OPI polishes are located in the back where they also do manicures. That part of the store feels like you're walking into the "adult" section of a video store, though. They have a ton of other nail supplies, too. It's not too much that's it's excessive or overwhelming, like Nail Supply House, and most of the stuff seems usable for regular people at home. They have the gel manicure machines. They have glass nail files for $2. They also have tweezers for $6 - so much sharper than $20 tweezerman tweezers. They also sell cuticle cutters for $6 to $9, and they have a variety of other nail tools, like fake nails, acrylic nails, and nail art supplies. They also stock some random beauty supplies like lashes and duo lash glue. So glad so many nail polish stores are popping up around everywhere. No one should have an excuse to buy $8 nail polish at the drugstore anymore! read more

Love how neat and clean everything is! It's a lot better than Nail Supply House, in my opinion. The people who work here are also really friendly and helpful. I was looking for a specific color and showed a worker a picture and he didn't have that color anymore, but he spent like 10 minutes trying to find alternative colors. So sweet. That would NOT happen at Nail Supply House. They have pretty much the same items as most nail supply stores - OPI, China Glaze, Seche Vite, Essie, Color Club, gel nail polish, fake eyelashes, nail tools, etc. Everything is really organized. Like most other girls who are on the style trend watch, nails and nail design are HOT! Paying for nail polish at retail prices are not. I am so happy Nailis Supply Store opened up because for the longest time I like many other yelpers had assumed the Nail Supply House (green store on valley and san gabriel blvd) was the place to get the best priced nail polish. Wrong! Nail Supply House undoubtedly has the largest selection of nail polish from multiple brands, but if you like the typical OPI, Orly, Essie, China Glaze, Color Club etc then Nailis is by far cheaper. OPI is $4.50...way cheaper than Nail Supply who charges close to $6. Essie here is $3.50 (use to be $3.25) where Nail Supply is over $4. Sometimes you can get OPI or ORLY on sale for $2.75! And you don't need a nail tech license. I also like that I had been looking for nail foils and spoke to the girl, she didn't stock them, but because I had asked for them on 2 occasions she made sure they picked up stock the very next month. Talk about listening to customer wants, awesome! Cant get any better right? The only bad thing is because of this my polish hording is taking over my vanity. read more

My oh my, its been forever since I first spotted this place, I been waiting for months for this place to open and FINALLY, it did. Store is much smaller then what it looks from the outside. But that didn't stop them from stuffing their store with everything! So far I only been here once, I with the bf, after having lunch within the same plaza. I got myself a few cute little Hello Kitty nail art stickers for my little cousin and *ahem myself. :) They were so cheap, $1.50 a sheet, even if it was $2.50 I would have gotten it. At Sanrio stores, its at least $5 then there is tax and the girl at the register nickel and diming you about their stamp cards. -_- Really? How much trouble can they get in if they gave me one more stamp? Prices are reasonable, the prices are standard, same as other nail supply stores. Some of their item may be cheaper. Really just comes down to what you are looking for. Example: The OPI set, Spiderman edition, they were selling it for $6.50. I got mine for $8 at the Nail Supply Store on Valley Blvd (former Blockbuster location). Parking, they are located within a plaza, so they share with the shops all around. Not a huge fan of this place. I have only been here twice. Once when I found it on Yelp. After that visit, I said I would never come back. The second time I came because I had driven all the way from Claremont in traffic to go to Nail Supply House and they were mysteriously closed. This place is cheaper than Nail Supply House but I do not mind paying a little extra for good service. Nailis is quite cramped and a tad unorganized. They have fit so much stuff in there that it is hard to walk. All of the nail polish brands are in the same general area but the colors are not in order and always mixed up. It would also help if the prices were posted. I bought four polishes that came up to $15. No idea how they came up with that number but did not want to ask and have to stand in the middle of clutter for too much longer. Overall, the place isn't totally horrible but I would never go out of my way to come here again. read more

Love this supply store! As a nail tech, I frequently have to go to supply stores to stock up for work. I've been to many different spots in SGV but this place is my favorite! The sisters working here are all very sweet and helpful. There's always someone available to answer my questions. And even though they have people around, none of them try to hover around me while I shop. It's a pet peeve of mine when people follow me around the damn store to make sure I'm not stealing (many of the other supply stores do this..they send their watch dogs to sniff at me). Here, though, they are courteous and let me shop in peace. Plus, they have good prices and now that they've extended their store to include hair supplies and some makeup, there's even more goodies to buy! read more

Love love this place! I had to buy 70 nail polishes for a sorority event, and was introduced to Nail Supply by my best homegirl Hao. Located down Garvey in a plaza, this store is large, spacious, and clean- great for all your nail needs! They had a selection of nail polishes on sale for 50 cents, so I was able to scoop those up. They even helped me carry my box of nail polishes to my car and advised me to go to Ktown for a set of nails I saw on Instagram. Five stars for the wonderful service! read more

I have just found out about this place today and decided to go right away! Prices are pretty cheap compared to drugstores, and to be honest, I don't think I'll ever buy nail polish at drugstores ever again! The store is pretty crowded, and they have a fairly large selection. I only went there to get a few nail polishes but I ended up leaving with a bag full of polishes and stickers! Nail Wrap: $4 (beats Walgreens that sells it for 8 and give only 16 wraps... um hello i have 10 fingers!) so it's 20 stickers (or wraps) for 4 bucks. Basically 2 weeks worth of perfect looking nails! China Glaze for 2.50 or 3.50. and IBD for 2 bucks. (8.5 mL) Ok so this store is a pretty great find. I'd recommend it especially if you just want to try out new colors cause they sell small bottles (IBD) for 2 bucks! Will definitely go back (unless i find a cheaper place :] ) read more

This space is very small...the aisles are tiny so it's kind of hard to get through especially when you have more than one person trying to look at the same product but it's cleaner than most nail supply stores and they carry most of the Apres Nails product line. I've purchased many chromes and pigments from them and they work very well on my clients. I like the customer service here as well, they're efficient but polite and they take time to listen to what you need and make recommendations on new products to try. read more

I stopped by here after going to the nail supply house in San Gabriel. Sure the prices are cheaper, they tax btw. But it's still slightly cheaper OPI comes out to be .35 cents cheaper. The isles here are smaaaaalll & cramped. It makes it very difficult to shop. It does t have that strong nail polish smell which is nice. I still prefer going to the San Gabriel store over here. Only downfall to this place is there are TONS of polishes that they have... wish they had a polish sample of what you are about to purchase instead of observing the bottle and guessing the color. (Not aloud to open the bottle and see the color) They also have a big sale sale going on right now so the polishes I got (gel) were cheaper than usual! Big plus!
