I got my eyebrows waxed here and I am extremely disappointed. I could of waxed them myself at this point. She didn't clean them up. Did not shape them. I pointed out the hairs to her to clean up and she did not do it. She also waxed more off on the right eyebrow compared to the left so now my right eyebrow is skinnier. read more

Yes!! I love this place! It is my go to nail spot every few weeks. I have had my nails done by multiple people & every time it is great. I usually come in for a mani pedi & I even brought my mom in one time & she loved it too. It is so nice that you can make reservations online & they do a fantastic job of staying on schedule. I do basic dip but I have seen them doing some really cool designs in there. Everyone is super sweet and you get a drink during your pedicure (try the vietnamese coffee!) The vibe is so cute. It is very clean but decorated so cute!! I love this place! read more

I enjoyed my service. First time here and they were kind. I showed a couple pics for inspiration and she copied every detail which was nice but I wish they had a little more creativity as an artist and the confidence to put her own spin on it. She also didn't apply any cuticle oil or any lotion on my hands after AT ALL which i feel is a nice finishing touch instead of leaving with dry hands especially after tipping almost $40. All in all, I'll be back and I'm excited to give it another go read more

I absolutely loved the way my nails were done thats why this is hard to say. However, when somebody is continuously late when you make an appointment I don't appreciate it. My time is valuable also and as a loyal customer, I would think that would be important to the business as well. The other problem I had was the price changed every time I went. It was never the same, but I got pretty much the same service every time. I mean, you should, at least make sure you're charging your regulars the same price every time and on top of it I would tip $15 every time. Its just not worth it to me anymore. read more

Amazing! Mary, Linda, and Jenny each helped do my nails. Literally made sure I was comfortable and checked on how I liked it each step of the way to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. I just took this picture and I got them done a week and a half ago and they're still going strong!! Definitely recommend and definitely coming back! read more

Adding an update - the owner, Jenny, reached out to me via text but did not address me being cut and my blood contaminating the polish, which is concerning. I understand they did a fill even though I twice clarified I wanted the acrylics off, and she explained why a fill was faster, but not addressing me actively bleeding during my manicure and as I left is not alright. I responded a 30 mins later she said she was going to respond to my sanitary concerns but was dealing with a customer. She then walked me through what they do to disinfect their products... I was not offered a refund or even an apology. read more

It saddens me to even make this post but I got my toes done by them in November. I remember my right toe burning during the acrylic process but I didn't think anything of it. The nails were cute! They lasted really long but I started noticing green/brown under the acrylic toe only (big toes). So finally after them being on for a good month or so the big toe finally chipped off.... What was under that nail was actually disgusting. Never in my life have I for one ever got fungus from a nail salon but for two seen something so gross on my nail. When I tell you my toe nail is fully gone, when I took the nail off there was excess water build up under the nail the nail smelled sooo bad it was pussing and my actual nail was dead so it came right off it was bleeding and the smell again was horrific. I'm very disappointed and scared my toe nail is never going to grow back. And on top of that, the urgent care so it now has staph infection and I'm not sure how to go about this but I am genuinely upset & disgusted. read more

I forgot to leave a review here so ill do it now: I've been to this salon a couple of times and initially had good experiences, but my last visit was extremely disappointing. The nail technician repeatedly made unnecessary comments about my toes, even after I acknowledged that it had been a while since my last pedicure. Instead of moving on, she continued to bring it up in a way of making fun of me, making me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed in front of other clients. The service itself was ok compared to my previous visits. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. You problably select and choose who receive good service from you, really bad vibe. Do better read more

I come here every 3 weeks for my gel manicure. I've never had an issue with the gel chipping, which I've dealt with at other salons. Not only is everyone super nice but they're very accommodating to fit people in. Also the forearm/hand massage after the manicure is 10/10. read more

I came here kind of randomly as i booked a stay at Mission Bay Resort and didn't want to pay their prices for nail services. Looked on the map for nearby salons and found this place. Making an appointment online was really easy, as was rescheduling online! The staff are all very nice and welcoming. I opted to get the tropical pedicure and absolutely loved it. My pedicurist gave me a wonderful massage on my legs and feet. They provided me with water and tea too which is always an appreciated touch. Great price point, definitely worth it. The salon itself is small but very clean and bright. Loved my experience here for sure. I live too far, otherwise I'd for sure come back! read more

I always take my gf to get her nails done here and customer service is so amazing. on top of the great customer service, jenny has so much skill when it comes to what she does. every time my gf gets her nails done it turns out exactly like the reference photos. there is never any flaws with anything there. also the kittens they have there are so so cute !! The two women here did absolutely amazing. My French tip turned out even better than the photo I brought in! They were able to take me extremely last minute and perform my mani & pedi at the same time swiftly. They were both so nice and has nice music playing with visuals on the TV. Good place for a quick unplanned full set. I drive 30 minutes to my nail salon usually but periodically I randomly book a place closer to me just to see.... Sunny Nails and spa in Santee is still the best I've ever had. This place is two minutes away from my house. I deducted one cause the pedicure guy had bad energy and kept shaking his head no. I get it. My nails were bad but come on, dude. Fix them and one cause I have white spray all over the tops of my hands from the ombré and it was 30$ combined more than my other place but overall they did a good job! First time here and I'll say this is a decent place if you want a SIMPLE manicure or pedicure. I wouldn't recommend if you want any sort of design or attention to detail. I don't remember my nail tech's name but I had to keep asking for things to be fixed such as nail shape, polish coat, design etc. . . She didn't really get it though. Honestly I gave up in the end and just accepted this was as good as it was gonna get. I wasn't happy with the design, shape, and the coats of polish just looked lumpy and uneven. I especially wasn't happy I paid $69 for this full set. The photo with the heart is what I asked for - the photo with the gems/sequins is what I got. ***Edit: The base price was $60. The technician was nice so I feel bad leaving this review, but the way she removed the gel from my toes was awful! She filed it down, put acetone and let it sit for a bit. Then she proceeded to peel off the old gel and tore the corner of my nail OFF. She then proceeded to say I had thin nails! I've been getting gel pedicures for a while now and NEVER has anyone tore a piece of my nail OFF! As a technician, even if my nail was thin she could of used a machine to remove the gel instead of tearing it off the way she did. I was so upset! She tried to tell me she would add a piece, which I declined so I just told her to cut what she could without leaving my nail too short. I will never return here. Maybe some folks like this method of removal but I did not and will not be returning for a pedicure. I will add the chairs were comfortable and I also got a gel manicure which he added so many layers too! There was one lady too that came by and was just talking to the technician who did my nails and the vibe just felt uncomfortable! I will never return!

I unfortunately had a terrible experience here :( I was passing through town on my way to the islands, and wanted to get my nails pretty before the trip. I googled it, and based on the reviews it seemed great. Right off the bat, everything seemed great. It's clean, there is virtually no nail salon smell and the two techs in there were fairly friendly. I asked for a dip powder manicure and they said great. They gave me some colors to choose from. I told them I'd also like a toe nail polish change to match my fingers but that I was short on time so I wasn't sure if I could do it. The lady (presumingly the owner) talked me into getting a pedicure and said they would do my hands and feet simultaneously and that it would only take one hour to do both. I told her that would be great and I agreed to the up charge for the pedicure vs polish change. Everything was going as per usual when a woman came in who was selling produce. My nail tech completely stopped doing my nails, didn't even say hang on a sec or anything and starts talking to this lady. After a few minutes my tech buys some stuff and gets back to my nails. This farmer lady came back two more times and each time my nail lady stopped working to buy and never once apologized or said hang on or anything. She was also the SLOWEST WORKER IVE EVER HAD. Knowing I had very limited time, she still acted like she had all the time in the world and my time was worth nothing to her. To add to the crap, she puts three coats of clear dip on my nails and then gets the gel light out saying they didn't have any dip powder and that I'd be getting gel. She didn't bother to tell me that BEFORE she started my nails. Meanwhile, there is a gentleman doing my pedicure and he is taking his sweet time as well. They advertise 10 minute massages. The massage was mediocre at best but I wasn't too concerned about it. Once she was finished, she wanted me to pay *literally* immediately. This woman tried to reach for my wallet and grab my card out!! WTF. I was so mad that I paid and literally walked out without tipping. I get my nails done every two weeks. I have never ever ever not tipped. To add insult to injury, 45 minutes after my polish had been applied I went to put on my shoes (I had the foam flip flops on) and my polish still wasn't dry. It was so sticky and old, it just wiped right off with a dry paper towel. I seriously had the WORST experience here. I have NEVER had anyone take so long and spend so much time and do such a sh*tty job. WORST NAIL PLACE EVER!!!!!! read more
