So I went here because I procrastinated getting my nails done. This place is not good. At least for what I like, stiletto acrylics with black gel. I left with the most ridiculous nails ever. The points are uneven, the acrylic is bumpy, and none of my nails match in length. I will provide pictures of what I asked for, and what I actually got. I sat for an hour and 30 minutes and watched my hopes and dreams of cute nails run far away from this place. I have come here twice now with a girlfriend and will definitely keep coming back! They do a great job with gel manicures and it is affordable which is a huge plus! So I been here a couple times, they always do an amazing job with the pedicure ! I cant complain about that. I usually get my nails done by the lady who sit on the first chair but she wasn't there when I went :( On (4-5-18) the lady who did my nails cut me three times! I was upset bc I went home with my fingers hurting. I wanted my nails long and she ended up cutting the second hand shorter so she had to go back and cut the other nails short to match. So I ended up with short nails ! When I was paying she asked me if the tip was going to be cash or on the card. I was like What ?! . ummm I have never been asked for a tip even though I always leave them one. I decided to go back (5/25/18) and just my luck I go the same older lady with glasses who cut my fingers last time. I really like the owners of this place so I was like okay fine. She did the worst nails I have ever had. I wanted round shape and she made them look huge and ugly! what made it worse was that she cut every single finger!!! Yes every finger and still asked for a tip (again) at the end. I went back the next week and the owner fixed the nails, but after paying so much money more than once and not getting the results I wanted I decided not to go back. read more

We went at lunch for me a gel manicure and my bff any acrylic fill. Lana did my nails and not sure of the gals name that did Jens. Loved the mani massage. Very hard and deep on my hands and arms. That's kinda where the good stuff ended. My natural nails were freaking filed like she was sanding a dang chair. My fingers hurt and I had gel onto my cuticle and fingers. It was not an even paint job but not noticeable from a distance.... but I knew. An hour & half later we were late for work... then Jen got charged 3 times (see pics) and it locked up an extra 70 in her checking. I usually don't write yelp reviews but I had an awful experience. Ive been to this place twice now. The first time, I got my acrylics removed and got a new set. The new set was pretty nice but the way they take off your acrylics hurts so much!!! I can't stress that enough. I decided to give them another chance because I thought it was my fault that I didn't say anything during the process. The second time I went was to get my month old acrylics removed. I should've known better from the first experience but I was desperate and they were the closest and open at the time. This time I specifically ASKED if I can soak my nails in acetone and do it a more gently. Not even 10 minutes in, the nail tech removes my nails from the acetone and starts clipping at the tips of my acrylics, even breaking my real nails underneath. I was actually scared because sharp shards of my nails are flying everywhere and I was afraid to get hit in the face or something (eventually I did get hit on my arm). I kept squinting my eyes and covering my face. Next she took a couple fake nails and used that to pry the acrylic and my real nails apart. I cannot STRESS how much this hurts because it takes off a layer of your real nail with it, making them extremely thin. As you can see in my picture, when she was taking off my thumb, the layer of my real nail that was being removing was becoming WAAAAY too deep. I told her OW so many times, she even tried to yank it off. She eventually clipped it away and kept making excuses that my old set was too thick. I definitely won't be back and please don't come here to get your acrylics removed. I'm left with thin, throbbing nails and my thumb keeps snagging on things which hurts so much. Now I can't get my nails done until my thumb heals, really disappointed. read more

I came here to get my nails done for a special event, my college graduation, and left disappointed and almost in tears. I came in and it was empty, I sat down and told the woman across from me what I wanted. I wanted a simple French design and what I was left with was atrocious, there was barely any of my nail bed showing and my whole nail was white. After explaining this wasn't what I wanted the woman tried arguing telling me this is what I had asked for and told me she couldn't fix it. Anyone would've saw my nails and say they looked horrible, I couldn't understand why she was trying to justify her design that looked so so bad. After picking out a solid color (not what I wanted, but I did not want to leave with the initial design) she promptly started telling me that what I had asked for is what I got, and not to come into a salon without knowing how to request certain things, I was shocked because to me French tips are a classic and VERY common design so I thought she would understand what I wanted. Very disappointed in the nail artists' response and refusal to fix it, even though the salon was EMPTY. read more

The guy that did my nails didn't know what he was doing, nails were very thick,and wavy ,not very well glued, it was coming off from the top of my nails within 2 days , and the nail polish was bad, far from the cuticles and sides. I guess he was learning because it took him 2 hours do do my nails. Do not waste your money there. read more

This place was a very pleasant surprise!! It is close to where I live which makes it super convenient so I really wanted to like it and I have to say, what I assumed to be the husband and wife working, they did an awesome job!! I had a pedicure and manicure. The gentleman did pedicure which was fabulous. He not only massaged my legs but hit pressure points in my feet that felt great. The lady did my manicure with gel polish and she painted one nail at a time to ensure even color! My daughter got a full set of acrylic nails and they look beautiful. She wanted a "coffin" shape and they came out exactly what my 16 year old wanted! My sister, who is super picky about her nails, also got a pedicure and full set. She fully enjoyed her pedicure and was more than happy with her nails! For there only being the two of them on Sunday, they just opened and aren't super busy yet, they took fabulous care of the 3 of us! I've been to this place in the past for a gel manicure and liked their work. This time around I decided to go for a full set. To start, the person who was doing my nails began by cutting my natural nails as short as she could. She was really rough from the start, almost tugging at my nails with the clippers. I said "ouch" to make it known she was being rough. Next, she glued on tips and followed to add the acrylic. She was VERY rough with the nail file. She cut me twice and I told her! "Look! I'm bleeding!" She went on to say she has to get close when filing. I was holding my finger because I felt a burning sensation and pain. She seemed to be rushed and in a hurry so I asked if they were closing soon, this was at 5pm. They close at 7. I asked for square shape which ended up getting round off. I asked her to make it more square and she said I was supposed to "SQUARE SQUARE".... okay. I left the place with bumpy gel polish and very thick, bulky looking nails. My pedi with the man was amazing! The leg massage was to die for and he was getting all of my pressure points. My gel manicure with Lana was also fab! I just got home from one of the best pedicures I have ever experienced. I ordered #4 on the menu. This included callous removal, scrub, mask and paraffin wax treatment. Each treatment was applied with a massage type method. I was then offered a 15 minute neck and shoulder massage during polish application... all I can say is this Salon should be renamed, "massage and Nails 4 All". Relaxing music with warm atmosphere. I love this place and I am so glad I found it. It was recommended to me by a friend and it is by far the best salon in Escondido. The prices are decent for the quality of work and they have a huge selection of gel polish colors. I have never had an issue in making an appointment and I never feel like the techs are pressuring me into a bunch of add ons or rushing through my nails to get to the next client. Start off it was my first time at this nail shop, wanted to try something new. I went in for a gel manicure and fill on my accurlic nails so they won't break & a pedicure. The lady that did my pedicure was very nice took her time, the lady that did my manicure start off really nice but once she seen people coming in got in a rush to do my nails. The whole process of doing a manicure was done backward, colored my nails first then cut my cutticuls. That same day not even 2 hours had past the gel on my nails were coming off, the next following day different nails gel color started chipping,peeling off and my real nails breaking. So I went back to have them fix it, 3 days after. Today is a week from when I got them done and the nail color chipped off again and super grown out because color was done before my curricula cutting. I just want you to know they use cheap product, they charge more then average with there advertise 15% off. Don't waste your time, I paid for a half ass manicure 30 dollars plus 18 for pedicure, and that price is including the discount. read more
