But also, their employees go above and beyond as well, we had David and Thy and OMG they were so sweet and so accommodating. They made this whole experience absolutely amazing for us!! My friend (guy) told me his ex gf goes here but didn't know who the nail tech was. I go on yelp. Pick a guy. Maybe 30-38 short hair, 5'5 about 175.. he's at the Last table near the hand washing place. So, i called in advance n Made an appt. I Arrive and he look so lost. Deadass Confused. Vibes were already off, i sit down n go, "do you wanna go home?" This man bluntly said. "Yes" in my head I'm like, "wtf." But, I say, "I can go to someone else.. who's good. It's my first time" he ignores me. He starts speaking his language with the 45-65 yo lady next to him. She's at the (Second table towards the sink wall from The bathroom, Where the tv is.. they both start talking and laughing, me and the lady she's going her nails look at each other. So it's not just me, I take my phone and do google translate. Literally read everything they were saying, So sad that you work for tips and talk about the person in there face, looking up smiling, so shameful. At this point, I'm annoyed I want to leave. But I'm like, "trust the process"... just let it go. Get ya nails done and go, maybe they will look better. He cuts me; Paints my nails wayyyy before the nail bed. But here's the details... Let's just say First and foremost there is nothing THAT pisses a female off more than, picking a length and the nail Tech rush'n so much that he cuts one, two, or three nails a little too short so now half my length is gone. And every client knows you're not trying to be a asshole but you hate your nails. I told him what he did, he acted like he didn't know, i told him. This isn't the length i said. He started talking in his language again. At this point, i want to leave. Say, "take them off and let me go home. But no, I still paid full price. Still tipped 20%, I told him. "I hate them" I don't like this, my pink and thumb are two diff lengths, he ignores me. I pay. I tip. He literally leaves me there, and leaves. Once he leaves, I find a file and say there for thirty mins in the same seat, filing my own nails after spending 60$ to him, and 34$ in Ubers. The older lady who was next to him sees me and completely acts like I was invisible. So did the other techs. More than 6, after I finished trying to make them look the same. As much as I can. I left. Never will I ever go here again. Never will I ever give them my money. And don't ever give them your money unless you want to feel like a problematic peasant and be talked about right in front of your face. Then ignored. Never again. read more

I have been looking for a regular nail salon and made an appointment to come in for pedis with 2 friends, to try this spot. The salon seemed pretty nice and the manager offered us a snack and beverage, so we settled in to make our choice of service. We all selected spa pedis ($55 +) and my friend asked her tech if callous removal was included in our selections. It was. Once our nail techs all settled in, it became clear that once again, I was not feeling in good hands with my tech. He was shaping my nails and it became clear he wasnnot planning to cut them, so I requested it. He cut one foot but then needed to be reminded to do the other. This put me on guard for the rest of the session - I wish I could have relaxed and just enjoyed the pampering, but I felt anything but relaxed for the duration. I guess some techs do certain things in different order, but once the slathering of the calves start, it seems to me that the foot file time has passed, so my friend asked if there would be callous treatment. My tech seemed confused, so I had to lift my rough heel and point out how bad it was. My friend's tech had to keep explaining or reminding him. At first, I hoped that maybe he was just learning the ropes, but I now see that he featured in another bad review a year earlier, so...what can I say, Tiffany's- this guy is hurting your business. He got up at least 5 or 6 times to get stuff. One time, he came back with paraffin in baggies for my feet that was pretty lukewarm, so doubt it did anything. When I left the salon and looked down, my big toes were not nicely shaped - cut on a diagonal and not smooth. He asked me if they looked ok when I was in the chair, but from that perspective, I couldn't see what I saw outside. I know $55 may not seem like a ton of money to some, but to me, it's an indulgence, and I am really beginning to feel like some salons, including Tiffany's, treat their customers more like a number than a person. At this salon, the nail tech made me feel like I was not valued in the least because his customer service skills were so lacking. I am usually pretty forgiving, but this guy needs some serious retraining. And my big pet peeve at salons is at the end, more times than I care to count, when the tech is done, they just get up and walk away. One would hope there would be a word, a gesture, or guiding you to the place to wait while your nails finished drying, but no! And this guy did just that - I think he must have known he did a shit job and couldn't be bothered to extend further grace to me. We all 3 sat there after the techs had walked away, kind of miffed about the overall visit vibe (one friend was getting a no polish pedi and was disgusted they wanted to charge extra to buff her nails, so just ended up getting clear coat). The techs started giving us a "you should leave now" vibe, and then just put a liner on the tub and started filling it up with us still sitting there. There were other open stations, mind you. So, yeah, you got our money today, but we won't be back. read more

First - they charge you 2.99% to use your credit card but there is no sign saying so anywhere in the entire salon. I even asked if this was posted anywhere I was told it wasn't and that it's their new policy since COVID. Second - I asked the woman who did my eyebrows to make them even without thinning them at all and of course they're significantly thinner now than when I entered. I'm also pretty sure she was double dipping the stick into the wax, and I should have stopped her there and I don't know why I didn't. Had a wonderful first experience at this salon! Background: I have natural nails. These days, it is so hard to find a salon where nail techs can do natural nails well. Most of the time, I am disappointed because it is not that much better than a home manicure. This place was different! Bryan did an excellent job on my natural nails. And he did not try to up-sell me or make me feel bad that I wasn't getting gel. In fact, Bryan is super friendly and we had a great conversation. He even gave me tips on how to prevent excessive cuticle growth! The salon is also pretty, modern, and fresh. It also doesn't smell like chemicals, though I did intentionally go during the week to avoid crowds. Also, HUGE bonus points for honoring appointment times! I was out in VA for a friend's party and looked up nail salons nearby and landed on Nails At Tiffany's and was not disappointed. The salon is...well....just beautiful! And I loved the Breakfast at Tiffany's theme. They have couches in the waiting area, a variety of drinks and TVs. The pedicure chairs looked very nice though I was only there for a manicure. I walked in without and appointment on a Saturday afternoon and was taken care of immediately. I wanted a neutral color dip manicure and the owner's mom made a great color suggestion. My manicure came out absolutely perfect and my manicurist was extremely detailed and did a fantastic job. I live in the district so I probably won't be back but if I'm ever out in the area again, I know Nails At Tiffany's is there with great service. read more

Took my daughter to get her nails done for Prom and made a last minute decision to get mine done also. We both got basic pedicures. Nothing spectacular but a good job. My daughter got a set of acrylics with nail art on her ring fingers. The nails looked ok. She ended up going back after we left because one nail was filed at a very obvious slant and color was missing on the side of one nail. I got a set of acrylics with ombré. The service I have received here from the staff and the owner, Joe, is amazing!! They offered me a drink upon entry and halfway into my pedicure, Joe brought me complimentary ice cream too! This place is clean but expensive. The most basic pedicure was $37. I opted for something that was $50. I usually bring my own polish (easier to do touch ups). I brought my own today. I also got a basic manicure, nom polish just buff it was $30. The gentleman that did my nails, Jackson, did a great job. If you pay via credit card there is a 3% fee. So, total it was $82.40. Tips are cash or Venmo only. There is an ATM inside. I didn't use it so can't speak to the fees. I liked the salon a great deal and my service. I should have known better than to book at 11am on a holiday weekend (Sunday of July 4th). It was pretty busy and therefore a bit noisy. I would imagine at other less crowded times it's quite peaceful. read more

Don't risk it! They damaged my nails without care. I went in for gel removal on my natural nails and instead of soaking off, KIM (not my usual tech- she evidently left) used the electric file to remove and dug into every single nail. She asked if they were dip nails, I said no and she said oh, ok, I'll just remove the top layer. Then proceeded to remove it all. She did a crap job on the polish, missed the edges of most nails. I just wanted to get out. Worst manicure I have ever experienced. She and her co-worker were huddled together speaking in hushed tones about the worker next to them. 3.5 rounded down. I went here with my husband and cousin for the first time last weekend. Making the appointment was easy over the phone, and they send helpful reminders via text. When we arrived, we were greeted and set up right away. They had a great selection of colors for gel and dip powder, but the techs were pretty confusing when they were explaining which samples were gel v. powder, etc. We did the volcano CBD pedi and various manis. The pedi came with a warm neck wrap that kind-of smelled like bread (not really a good or bad thing unless you have strong feelings about the scent of bread). Overall the service was good; the pedi came with a decent leg and neck massage as well as some small snacks and drinks. My toes came out alright, but one toe was smudged and they didn't fix it. Husband wasn't pleased with his toes or fingernails, as they weren't cut or filed evenly (and men's nails require much less work so we weren't sure why they came out this way). Cousin's nails came out pretty nicely but some of hers were also noticeably unevenly shaped. Major con is that they charge a 2.99% surcharge for credit card payments. Then they wanted me to use the ATM machine instead of just swiping my debit card, and I had to insist that they just take my card. Was kind of weird? Anyway, I prefer to pay with credit so I can get my points and miles, so I probably won't be going back. Besides, need to find a good nail place to keep hubby's claws in check! read more

The one star is for the customer service. My tech Kim was very nice and I cannot knock the whole experience because she really was a kind woman. I booked an appointment with a specific nail tech and when I arrive on time there seemed to be confusion and I was given to someone else. That is totally fine with me not an issue. I showed the nail tech Kim the picture of the nails I wanted (first photo) ombré dip set. She helped me pick out colors where we both agreed white to pink with glitter. The service started everything was going great. These are my real nails which were already almond shaped from my last nail appointment at a different salon. I asked for my nails to be trimmed a little in length but to keep the shape. I had a pleasant conversation with Kim and the customers next to me. It wasn't until Kim was almost done and I examined my nails and realized it looked nothing like the picture I showed. There's was no ombré it was just a dip manicure with some glitter. Kim and the tech next to her were insisting it was ombré and I confused her. They we're definitely trying to say it was my fault and shame me which was not the case because I showed Kim what I wanted we both agreed white and pinks. I was flustered at the end and just wanted to get out of there so I had no issue paying for a regular dip set (not ombré) the salon accommodated that request and I left. When I got in my car is when I noticed how awful my nails really were with awkward uneven shapes, rough edges, and a long hair caught beneath my top coat. Lesson learned to stick to what I know. I picked this place because the guy that usually does my nails ( another salon and someone I've gone to for 6 years) was ill. I usually will drive all the way to Chantilly. I booked my appointment for 10am Monday 11/21. I loved that you could book online. That's super convenient and easy. I booked a gel manicure and pedicure along with a Mani and Pedi for my daughter. My appointment was originally for 10am, I was running a little late which I did call and say I'd be there about 10:06. They greeted me nicely at the door but failed to tell me they pushed me to 10:30 since I was late. Ok that was fine, but you could have said something to me, so I didn't wonder what was going on. Mani and pedi experience is really nice, Bryan did mine. He was very professional..my daughters nails looked nice too. Btw they can only do designs ONLY on gel nails. My daughter wanted a couple Christmas designs on a certain nail and they couldn't do it because she had to have gel nails. I'm not getting gel nails for a 6 year old girl. Appointment was Monday, now we are on the next day, Tuesday 11/22... it's Tuesday evening about 5:30-6pm and i've been prepping Thanksgiving dinner. My long nails that I've had for years started to rip. They just started tearing, and tearing really short. I did call them they were about to close and they fit me in for Wednesday morning, 9:45am to fix them. At this point they were so bad and I didn't have any time that I wanted them all cut the same length. I told him I didn't want a redo, I just want them cut all the same length file down and that was it. Pretty simple. Mia did my nails, she was really nice. I really liked the way she did my nails. As she was doing my nails she was told by Bryan to charge me $20 for the fix. I've never in my life paid for a fix, especially if I was just there. Bryan even asked me if I was just there the other day.... He didn't say sorry about the nails, just gave me this look, and proceeded to tell Mia in Vietnamese to charge me 20 bucks. I told Mia that's ridiculous, and that I've never paid for a fix. Needless to say, I feel that was nasty. I feel that was rude and I totally will not go back. I did leave a nice tip for Mia when I left. She did an awesome job. My nails look like poop, but they got me through this holiday . These people nickel and dime you while smiling in your face. My gel manicure and my daughter's chipped after 1 week. I called they said come on in for a polish change. I get there and they then say they will charge me $25 each to repaint. Been coming here for over a year! It's the best nail salon and it's so clean. I 100% recommend Pink as a nail technician. My daughter and I love her and how she does our nails. I constantly get compliments on my nails because Pink does such a beautiful job. Pink is so creative and has a true talent for nail design. She is always so kind and polite, and we truly love her and how our nails are every time we come to the nail salon. As far as the salon, it's beautiful and very modern. They are organized and will send reminder texts for your upcoming appointments. You can tell a lot about an establishment by their bathrooms, and this place always has spotless bathrooms! The pedicure chairs are super comfortable and the staff will offer drinks and snacks while you are getting your nails done. Anytime they find out it's someone's birthday, they will play happy birthday over the speakers and bring a small dessert treat for the guest. This salon goes over and above for their clients. **3.5 stars** PEDICURE-- I've been several times for a pedicure and they have been super thorough. It is clean, has good AC, and have liners for the tubs. They ask before removing callus (it's an upcharge), but they have a habit of constantly asking if you want a "better" pedicure. If I say I want the essential one and *book* the essential one, there shouldn't be any upselling when I'm clear on what I want. 2 times I've had a pedicure that's less than stellar. Once was really rushed, I didn't get any massaging, and they told me I had to wait in the front because they needed a chair for another customer. It was really off putting. Second time that was just ok was this past time where the polish was not painted all the way to the cuticle. It looked like it was grown out before I left. They didn't fix it. However, I will still go here for my pedicures because of the spacious room, cleanliness, and availability. MANICURE-- I've given this place 2 chances on gel manicures and they were not good. The first time, it was super rushed and I was done in 30 minutes. They just chopped my nails off and threw my hands back at me when I was done. The polish wasn't painted all the way to the cuticle and it chipped off after a week. Second time, they asked me what shape I wanted and tried their best, but the polish wasn't painted all the way again. It chipped off in clumps in a week. I can't justify spending $38 and then tip on this kind of service. Also, the manicure area is SUPER cramped and it was uncomfortable to be that close to people. Another thing I don't like is that they add 2.9% charge to all credit card charges unless you use a debit. I don't feel safe using a debit so I get the charge. read more

I wanted to introduce my 12 year old niece to the joys of getting a pedicure in the hopes that it would be something we could do together. I made an appointment a couple of days ahead of time. I show up, there is no record of my appointment, but they tell me they have space for us anyway. Thankfully my niece's experience was fantastic. Mine was lacking, to say the least. Unfortunately I didn't notice any of the issues until I was home. The woman who did my pedicure painted 1/2 of my pinky toe. She also left paint from my previous pedicure on my toe and didn't paint over it, so now I have a blue spot on a hot pink toe. On top of the fact that she seemed irritated that I didn't want to get a more expensive pedicure, and barely spoke to me, I likely won't be going back. It's a shame because everyone seemed really nice. I just can't justify going to a place where I don't get what I pay for. read more
