Vera and Mimi are great nail techs. Thet go above and beyond. I always like getting flowers and Mimi today said, you're getting more. I love them!! I enjoy the spot.

Mimi did a great job with Gel-X French tips with chrome powder. The staff is very friendly and the service was not overpriced. Mimi also made sure to give me tips on how to make the chrome powder effect last longer, and she was very informative! Will be coming back for sure :)

Got my nails done my MiMi and she did an amazing job! She was super gentle (my skin is very thin and usually I bleed but this is the first time I didnt!!) and my nails have no bubbles and are super smooth. She also made sure I liked what I got and was very patient with me. Will be requesting her when I go back.

I've been coming here for a couple of years now, and not once have I had a bad experience. The staff has always been friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. What I appreciate most is how transparent they are about pricing they always make sure you know if there are any extra charges before starting a service. Today, though, I witnessed something that really stood out and I was actually sitting right next to the customer the entire time. A girl came in and started complaining about the cost after her nails had already been started. From the beginning, her tone felt rude and dismissive. When the manager came over to help, she tried to calmly explain the pricing, but the customer kept interrupting and responding with a passive-aggressive attitude. At one point, she even told the manager to lower her voice in a disrespectful way, despite the manager remaining professional the entire time. To make things more uncomfortable, her boyfriend started adding his opinion, even though he had nothing to do with the service. Instead of helping de-escalate the situation, he made it worse by defending his girlfriend, even though she was clearly in the wrong. It would have been more appropriate to let the customer and the person in charge handle the situation directly. Another manager stepped in and patiently pulled up her past transactions to clearly show what had been charged before. They explained that sometimes removal fees are waived, but it's never guaranteed and they always communicate that upfront, which is something I've personally experienced and appreciated. Even after being shown proof, the customer continued to be upset and dismissive, saying things like, "Whatever, just finish my nails. I'll pay, but I'm never coming back." After all that I understand why staff didn't want to service her anymore. She left the place with nails on and she still didn't pay. The staff handled everything with patience and professionalism, even when faced with unnecessary rudeness.

great service and atmosphere. i love how upfront they are about pricing and how patient and understanding the workers are when it comes to quality and requests. gel x nails with french tip and a gel pedicure for $125 but when you pay cash they give you a 5% discount. this is my second time coming here and both times i have left extremely satisfied !!

I was in desperate need of getting my nails done & I came across Nails BB! I happened to be in the area & they were the only place taking walk-ins at the time. They were able to get me started in just 10 minutes by the time I arrived! I chose a design that was pretty intricate but Nikki is so detailed, she will make sure you get exactly what you want. Everyone is so kind & welcoming, I'm so glad I found a Long Beach nail salon!

Amazing place! Very modern chic vibe inside. They do get PACKED if you are a walk in. But they help you right away! I came in in a Saturday around 5pm, just a walk in. Signed in on their iPad waited about 3-5mins and I was able to get my gel manicure done. I completely forgot my nail lady's name but she was amazing! I might've found my new nail spot :)

Place is clean and tools are clean, Mimi was great!! Love my nails :) will definitely be back!!

Nails BB is my go-to salon in Long Beach. I really appreciate their commitment to their appointments (which has not been the case for a lot of nail salons) as well as the consistency in end results. I have probably come here about 5 times and have had different nails techs every time and I have been happy with my nails every single time. Most recently, I had Jolene as my nail tech and got V-day nails with a light pink base with little red hearts as my design. I think this place is the most reliable as well as reasonably priced. A gel manicure is $30 - with a design being an extra $10. This place accepts cash/card but if you pay with card, there is a small fee (although the pro is you can just tip on the card as well).

Had kind of a specific request to get hard gel on one hand with my natural nail and gel x with tips on my other hand! I called and talked to the owner with questions and he was very kind and helpful, informing me of the best possible options. I requested Mimi after seeing her work on Yelp and she was so patient and extremely sweet to help me with what I was looking for. I loved the music in the salon and everyone seemed really sweet. Prices were great and there were no surprises-- Mimi planned it out with me on paper prior.

Wow ! Instantly loved it here. Came in asking for a short almond Gel x, with a pedicure and I was greeted so kindly and almost immediately seated. I was in desperate need of a pedicure and chose this place simply because it was the closest to me. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just a classic pedicure with polish. Once seated, I chose my polish color. For $30, I wasn't expecting a luxury service, but I did expect a basic level of attention to detail, service and cleanliness. While the nail tools (clipper, cuticle pusher, and nippers) appeared sanitized, I was uncomfortable with how the callus scrubber was handled. The technician pulled it from a random spot in his cart, used it on my feet, then rinsed it in the same bowl my feet had been/ currently still soaking in before placing it back in the cart. It didn't seem hygienic and made me question the cleanliness of the rest of their tools and procedures. As for the pedicure itself, the sanitized tools were barely used. My nails weren't clipped, and It felt like barely any buffing or filing was done at all. the noticeable chip on one of my toes was still there exactly as it was when I walked in. The foot massage was a nice touch, but unfortunately, the polish application was disappointing. No top coat, uneven layers, and it already looks like it'll chip within a day. I don't usually feel this picky about my pedicures, which is why I can confidently say I'm genuinely unhappy with the result. Although I really love the color and the technician was polite, the overall experience felt rushed, like he just wanted to finish and be done for the day. I'm now planning to go elsewhere just to get my toes fixed. UPDATE: ONE STAR TO THREE STARS I came back in today after they reached out, eager to make things right. I brought my little sister with me for a promised "girls day" and decided to return to the same salon, she got her nails done while they fixed mine. The experience this time was a solid 10/10! They upgraded my service, and my sister's nails turned out amazing. They worked quickly and still delivered quality work. The attention to detail was great! Everything looked neat, and well-done. She really took her time shaping and cleaning everything up. This time, it genuinely looks like I had a proper pedicure, and my cuticles were actually trimmed, Beautiful work! Everyone was super kind, and you can tell they truly care about their business and customer satisfaction. Many places wouldn't go out of their way to make things right like this. Huge thanks to Ivy, Lynn, and Emily for taking such good care of us! My little sister absolutely loves her nails, and I can now say that I'm really satisfied with the experience too.

Love this place. Had no problem getting in on a Saturday. The location is new and has only been open for a few months. Everything is clean and organized. The lovely ladies who did our nails were extremely pleasant and did a great job. Only reason for four stars is the gel nail polish came off of hands after a week but the regular polish on feet still looks fresh. We will come back again for a regular mani/pedi. read more

Worst experience I've ever had with getting my nails done. The shape I asked for was almond, I had to ask her several times to fix them and they still turned out awful. Also when I was HALF way done and asked to wash my hands I left my phone and card on the counter and this lady takes my card off the desk and charges my card with out my permission. Never going back! Worst experience ever! read more

This is hands down the best nail salon I've been to. Raymond is a miracle worker and my gel nails stay chip free for 3 weeks (although I'm sure it would last a month). I am very particular about the shape and length of my nails and I always leave the salon with perfect nails. Kat is also great, she's so friendly and personable and I always enjoy talking with her while she removes my gel. I'm happy I finally found my go-to nail salon! read more

Let me just say, best expetience hands down in a nail salon. I did not once, and i mean once, feel uncomfortable or rushed. I did not feel like my opinions went unnoticed. This is a family ran business that just opened a few months ago and let me say im sad i didnt find them earlier. Im happy to report i have found my go to nail salon!! And that is hard to say since ive never found THE 1. Cat, Raymond and Elaine are brothers and sisters and their uncle, who i might say is just totally hilarious manages and is an architect and designed the place! Theyre all so friendly. So friendly. Elain did a wonderful job on my nails and Raymond made my feet so baby soft, ive never had them this soft from a nail salon. He also took his time to look over a few things with one of my nails that i had a problem with discoloration and fixed it!! They truley make you feel like family and take their time with you. Their generosity did not go unnoticed. I will be back in two weeks for a fill and a pedi and then two weeks after that! Support local business, stop by and say hi. This place is brand new and the atmosphere is infectious. Shout out to Cat!!! read more

I got my nails done the other day by Paul and I am so amazed and in love with them! Paul didn't seem rushed AT ALL and he went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and super happy with what I asked him to do. I asked for flame designs on two nails and he nailed it! I've been here twice in two weeks!!! Elaine did my full set and i loved how she she left them!! I'm really picky when it comes down to my nails because I haven't found anyone who makes perfect almond shaped nails!!! When I saw my nails i was in love with them and I knew I would keep coming back!!! Raymond did my pedi and he was so sweet and just had such a great personality!!! He's so gentle and took his time!!! First of let me just say that this salon knows customer service. Just moved to long beach area, and looking for a nail salon that can fit all my criteria. My first impression of this salon is that it is very clean and employees there are very welcoming. I came in to get a gel mani/pedi, i have Raymond worked on me. Let me say that he has a very funny and has cheerful personality makes me feel very comfortable. I told him jt was my first time there, so he made sure i was in good hands. He was very gentle while doing my pedicure, his work ethic shows how professional he is. he also gave me the best foot massage ever! The results afterwards was the best when he did my gel pedi it turns out beautifully! I love it here! If you're looking for a perfect nail tech Raymond is the one to ask for!! I would say this nail salon is very new age, which I prefer. They told me they have been open for 6 months so they are relatively new. I went in for just a gel manicure. I left feeling taken care of which is something I haven't felt in a very long time at a salon here in Long Beach. Raymond was super friendly and together him and cat took care of me. A few of their regulars came in and they couldn't stop bragging about how long their gel manicures lasted. Raymond took his time on my cuticles and made sure that I absolutely loved the color and let me look at many before I actually decided. Upon leaving cat made sure to remind me that if anything happens within the next few days that they will be more than happy to fix it(even though I'm not even worried about this after their regulars bragged about how long their gel lasted). Overall my experience was really good and I hope to be back to try out a pedicure. read more

I was looking for a new nail salon that was close to home so I looked on yelp. I came across this yelp page and saw all of the good reviews so I decided to give them a try. Raymond did an amazing job on my gel mani. He was very gentle with taking my gel off. Also this place uses only a nail file instead of the filing machine if you ask for the gel mani. I'm picky about my nails being perfectly painted and Raymond was also very picky about how he painted them and not missing areas. I love my nails. The owner is also really nice. She sits and has a conversation with you. read more

I went to get gel acrylics a week ago. I liked their customer service but their nails were not the best. I was left with acrylics that were kind of lumpy and some were crooked. there was some nail polish on my cuticle which made them look messy. After less than a week i had already lost a nail, there were dents in the polish, and they were already getting loose and lifting. if you want gel acrylics i wouldn't recommend going here. but they are good at pedicures and regular manicures. read more

Very Nice place, clean, spacious and the staff is always polite and sweet. I have done my manicure and pedicure with Raymond he's just the best and does an outstanding job! Always precise, leaves my feet and hands perfect every time and always treats me fabulous with the help from Kat who always takes care of me and my appointments when I call or show up. Bad customer service; when the manager is not around, some of these employees be speaking Vietnamese while giving these American guests services and sometimes these guests think the staff are talking bad about them. One time I overheard a staff said that this girl got acrylics done because shes a "student" with the assumption that that guest is cheap cuz shes a student. Also, when a guest walk in the door and the staff were working on the other guests, no one stood up to greet the new incoming guest and I don't think that was professional. There should always be someone at the reception to greet the guests. Also, this one older lady didn't wear casual professional clothing to work instead she had on sloppy clothing. I think these little factors adds up. Also, the bed that they use in the waxing room, Im not sure if they change the towels on the bed after each guest because someone could have lice on his/her head and the next guest that lay on that same towel might get contaminated. The reason I give this location is a three stars because of the manager there, Julie is super nice and she always tried to make you feel that she does actually cares about her guests' opinion. read more

This is honestly the best nail shop in town!! Everyone here is so friendly and they make you feel right at home! Very attentive and know exactly what you want without having to say it. 11/10 would recommend to absolutely anyone. I will definitely be back. The salon has such a clean and inviting atmosphere, it instantly put me at ease. I recently had my bridal nails done there, opting for Gel X with chrome, and let me just say, they turned out absolutely stunning! Nikki, the technician who worked on my nails was incredibly skilled at what she does, but her friendly demeanor and attention to detail truly made the experience unforgettable. I wanna just start off by saying I've felt very disrespected by the receptionist while she raised her voice at me and said no one in the salon wanted to service me at all when all I asked was for my toe nail to get fixed ! We pay the price for it to look nice ! And to pay 90$ for a pedicure and to be treated so poorly by employee still requesting payment when nails have never been this worst like today mind you I already also do my nails and pay up to 120$ for service and just to be almost kicked out was very inappropriate and rude definitely will never come back !!!!again !!!!and I expect a courtesy apology after being treated poorly we do pay for our nails their not free !! I've been going to Nails BB for years and Mimi is my go to nail tech! I usually get my nails done only once every 4-7 weeks and have never experienced any lifting! Mimi's attention to detail is top tier, you can tell she really cares about the quality of her work and enjoys what she does. No matter what idea I bring to her, she takes on the challenge and executes at a high level. Nails bb is such a beautiful shop, and its sister location Top City Nails, is not too far away if I have to go there instead to catch Mimi on the days she's there. The entire staff is so sweet and accommodating. If you want quality, come here! Sometimes there may be a little bit of a wait but it's so worth it and they're always so sweet and communicative about it. Just go elsewhere. Received a gel manicure on Wednesday 11/21, by Sunday 11/25 all 10 nails had peeled in one solid piece. I've added images with date stamp to prove my point to this business. I called Kat and explained what had happened, booked an appointment for repair on all ten nails for Thursday 11/29. Kat said "we will take care of it". I expected to walk in and get a gel manicure no massage just repair and walk away. Instead, I was charged $15 for the "repair" - the money is irrelevant, but it did not sit well with me that at this point I had paid $39 for a bad manicure and a waste of my time. I paid the $15 and gave a $5 tip, hoping to move forward (after all, it is just nails). Well the manicure again peeled after just one week. I will not be back and hope this helps someone choose another salon. read more

This is one of the best nails salons I have ever visited. Mimi was the one that did my nails and she was so kind when doing them as I have messed up fingers and she never said anything about them, but, other places usually do. She is also very patient in her work and when she doesn't think it's correct or you tell her you don't like something she'll fix it right away. She is very considerate and overall an amazing nail tech. Also the overall staff is super friendly and welcoming which is nice. I absolutely love getting my nails done here at BB Nails ! Both Lynn and Vy have done my nails, and they are amazing. They always take their time, are very meticulous, and truly care about the details. I'm very picky about my nail shape and designs, but they always do their best to follow exactly what I ask for -- and they always deliver. I really appreciate how patient and professional they are. Sometimes that may leave you feeling nervous or unsure however, when Tina and Judy introduced themselves to me I knew this was going to be a great experience. I decided to try out the dip nails, and the BB organic pedicure. The pedicure was wonderful very relaxing. I don't think I will be coming back here after using this salon as my regular place of service. Everytime, I call and make an appointment ahead of time. Yet every single time I go, they take walk-in customers before me, and I end up waiting at least 20 minutes before I am seated for my appointment. I usually don't have a problem with this. However, I came in to get a singular nail fixed as it broke off after just a few days, and they told me I had to come back because I didn't make an appointment. Very disappointing :( read more

In less than two weeks I'm missing 2 nails and the gel has completely come off of 4 other nails. I think because the lady doing my nails shaped them after the gel was applied leaving the sides of my nails bare thus lifting later on. As for the 2 broken nails -- alot of the acrylic lifted near the cuticle making them pretty weak. I have 1 thats hanging on for dear life. Never again. read more
