Before arriving at Cindy Nails, I called to confirm whether there was availability for a manicure and pedicure. I was told there was, so I went to the salon. When I arrived, I was asked what services I needed, and I explained that I wanted a manicure and pedicure. Since it was my first time visiting, I asked what forms of payment were accepted. Before I was able to choose a nail color or receive any services, I was asked to pay in full upfront. I found this unusual and uncomfortable. In my experience, payment is typically made after services are completed, allowing the customer to evaluate the service and leave a tip based on the quality of the experience. Being required to pay before any services were provided made me feel that I was being treated differently. RUDE OWNER!!! This is how my French pedicure turned out and the owner blamed ME, as though this was my fault! Very aggressive and condescending to me! Another young woman walked in behind me and the owner was crazy rude to her as well!!! At least that gal called her out on it, I was too in shock at how I was being treated as a paying customer. I got my nails on the 11th , by the 13th I had 2 pop off , I called to let them know they told me I could come in on the 13th after work , car broke down so on the 15th I let them know and asked to come in , they said that was fine that I could I asked if it was free they said yes , I come in and they already have attitude with me , I get sat down the lady does my nails and as I walk out they tell me it's 15 to which I say no you told me it was free of charge , we went back and forth till he just let me leave without paying but I think it is very disrespectful and unprofessional of them to handle the situation like this, considering I paid 115 for nails and toes I would atleast expect them to last a week or over , accidents happen I get that but telling me I could come in to fix them free of charge to then try and charge me after they finish it is just crazy . When you ask them why the price they're charging is different from what's on the menu, they'll say that is what it comes out to and look at you like you're being unreasonable. Sick people!! Tried to call for an appointment on multiple occasions. They don't answer the phones. Finding parking can be an issue with the sometimes busy plaza. Less of an issue since Covid. Very nice and my nails look exactly how I wanted them. The people are very friendly and very talented, i got a mani pedi and it was great. The lady was super nice and made sure I was okay with what she was doing, she asked questions like if the water was okay and if she was scrubbing to hard. At other nail salons you do not get that. The man doing my nails was also super nice he understood how I wanted them and did them perfectly, he also asked questions like if the file was going to hard or if he was hurting me. just left the shop and got my nails done for a fill-in. l came last week and already two of my nails had broken. I went to go get a fill with gel and French tip. When I went to go pay upfront, she said it was $60. When I look at her chart it says for filling is $28. When I ask her why my nails were so expensive she said is because I got gel. But she forgot that last week I came in and I paid $33 for the same design and just in a different color. So how is it that I'm paying double in just a week. When I proceeded to ask her as to why it was $60 and not 33. She said it's because I had a broken now and that the fill-in was more expensive. So then later on that day from a different phone number and said that I had two broken nails needed to fill with a little bit of design she said the price will be 33. My technician was Tina who did an amazing job. Most places really slack off on the actual manicure so I've been conditioned to do my own cuticles before going. Well I did this before going...and she still got in there with the nipper and found more!! I was psyched about that. She had a cancellation so she was able to do my feet as well. Here's why I'm only giving it 4 stars...my first time there and management and everyone else at this spot seemed to think I was invisible and I got no welcoming feeling or even a please come again on my way out. I paid and was handed my receipt and that was it. The reason it got an extra star...they have two dogs that are the owners that run around...purple and I can't recall the other ones name at this moment...despite the fact that one of the dogs totally took a dump while I was getting a manicure...it was picked up immediately and cleaned with bleach and he was scolded...but who doesn't love dogs??? They were scampering and being so damn cute...not overly friendly or annoying. But fun to watch for sure. And it was 53$ for gel manicure and a pedicure with paraffin wax! Not happy! I've been a customer for years and noticed the services are getting cut short. Recently 12/29/23 I had an appointment for a pedicure. My pedicure was only 17min. and rushed. This is not the first time either. Everywhere else a pedicure is at least 30 min with a decent massage. I barely got a massage if you can call it that and Lisa barely used any pressure. Believe me all that was applied was the lotion and then she stopped. She just just spoke to the other staff, didn't even engage with me and rushed through my pedicure because a wedding party that booked 4 girls came in with six girls. Not fair! And the prices went up adding insult to injury. I won't go back especially because I'm a full-time resident and not a snow bird. You should take not of who supports you all year around. read more

I'm done with this place. I've given them more than enough opportunities. This place does mediocre work at best. They have a bad attitude. Make you pay cash and NEVER have change for you to leave a tip. I'm not doing it anymore. One of the times I got a pedicure, I bled. The guy stop my bleeding with a dark solution and then proceeds to paint my nails right after mixing the solution with the pink colored nail polish. I didn't notice it till I got home. I KNOW he saw this. He didn't care. The not having change is my last straw. I left saying if get change for the tip and come back. They do this on purpose so you have to leave a big bill tip. Don't go for nextgen. I was trying to find a salon closer to where I live now so I thought I'd try nails by Cindy. Big mistake. They don't have any colored powder so they dip your nails in the clear nextgen and then put gel polish on top. I specifically asked if it would last as long and she said yes. Well, my nextgen usually lasts 3 weeks. A week and a half later and the gel color has completely peeled off. They clearly are trying to cut corners by not buying nextgen colors. The pedicure was okay. But there a many better salons for nextgen. Don't waste your money. read more
