There are so many nail shops in the 626 area... but stumbling across Lannie a few years ago was the best find on Yelp. I've gone to several shops here and there for weddings, occasions and just because, but never found a place where I didn't feel rushed, super clean and reliable and knowing that things are safe. Taking a risk after reading reviews, I decided to make the appointment and try it out. Three years later, I faithfully schedule once a month to make sure my toes and fingers look good. My students and friends are always looking forward to lannie's next work and most importantly, I know I'm taken care of in all ways. With her new shop, I'm confident to say it's the cleanest you'll get. You are not being treated as second class citizen and you will get more than just one compliment throughout the time!!!
Lannie is so great! Showed her a picture of what I was looking for and she did exactly what I shared. Not only that, she sends cv19 forms to confirm health guidelines. Would recommend if you're in the SGV area.
I'm so happy I found Lannie!! I got lucky and one of her clients cancelled so she was able to fit me in last minute before I go to Coachella this weekend. She is so friendly and does such an amazing job I can't wait to come back! I paid 55$ for a full set AND a sick design - which is such a good deal, especially in California. I ALWAYS have such a hard time at nail salons with my nails ending up crooked or uneven, but they are seriously flawless thanks to this gal. Thank you Lannie for getting my nails Coachella ready :)
This is my second return to Lannie and the experience is always super friendly and professional. When I couldn't find the kind of glitter I wanted she did her best to accommodate my request. Lannie's really cares about her clients and what her clients wants. I highly recommend her services. I haven't had an issue with parking and the salon is super accesible.
My nails are beautiful! I'm going to say it again.... Lanie is the best. Dont leave an upcoming event or having the nails you deserve up to chance by going to just any nail salon.. Go to Lanie for beautiful results that not only you but all will admire.
I went to Lannie a couple weeks ago to get my nails done for my wedding. I had asked for french tip acrylics but was on the fence since I don't get my nails done often. When Lannie saw my natural nails, she said I should go for gel mani to maintain the health of my nails. I really appreciated her input! The whole appt was very smooth. She did a fabulous job! She has a great personality and was fun to talk to. I would definitely go back. I would recommend her highly!
Everyone knows how hard it is to find a good nail girl right? Come on girls you know what I mean... Well- stop looking and call Lannie! She is the B.O.M.B. And I will tell you why... 1) Very quick response: I called for my apt, she picked up right away, answered all my questions gave me a quote and set me up for my apt. (As I have gone multiple times now, she also answers VERY QUICKLY to texts) 2) Her work is clean: What this means, no rushing, very detailed and it looks fabulous. I have to keep my nails pretty professionally colored so I only get to do French tip, but my gawddd my French tips look beuuuutiful. Though on my Bday month I added some "jewels" which got all the attention. I was stopped by an adorable little girlie at the coffee shop who insisted on seeing my pretty bow. 3) She is reasonable: Her prices are reasonable which allows you to come see her more often! Like how good of a deal is that! However you get what you pay for, and you should TIP accordingly for all the hard work she does. Just because you get a good deal doesn't mean you should go cheap on her tip... actually you should add some more $ bc of that! 4) She takes care of your peps: Well, I have gotten a lot of people asking about my nails because as a practitioner people look at your nails. LOL, well everyone I have sent over has LOVED her, including my own staff. Well, even more are asking for her contact as the days go by. 5) She takes care of you: Not her fault at all, I chipped my own nail from working and well, what did she do?? She had me come in help me put some acrylic on it so it wouldn't chip anymore to save it, and repainted it for me. 6) She is funny: When I do my nails I feel like I'm relaxing and having a good time. You don't want to go somewhere where you are bored out of your mind and have nothing to say to the person working on you for an hour now do you??? Now if that isn't enough reasons to call her I supposed you can Yelp some more. Now, the shop is a smaller location, she rents from D Spot, so the first time I missed the location, but now I know where it is so I'm all good! I have also been lucky enough to always find parking out in the front. 100% 5***** for my girl LANNIE.
Lannie is absolutely amazing! My first experience of getting nails done was with her and today I came back for the 2nd time. She does amazing job on nails and she would be my go-to person to get nails done. Highly recommend getting nails done by Lannie! Make sure to book your appointment in advance :)
Lannie always takes her time and does such an amazing job every single time!! Just recently discovered her and she's definitely going to be my go to person!! She's a also a super sweetheart too!! Didn't want to post a review cause I don't want her to be overbooked all the time so I won't have to schedule 3-4 weeks in advance, but she deserves this cause she's amazing!
I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I can't say enough good things about my first time experience today. I messaged Lannie through Yelp to see about getting an appointment for a fill; she responded right away and luckily she was able to fit me in! I found street parking and rang the doorbell at the front entrance to find a clean and welcoming facility at the D Spot Salon. Lannie greeted me and started working on my nails right away. She has a good selection of gel colors and I found a perfect nude color. She asked if she could thin my previous full set out since it was a little thick (done at another salon) and I said of course! She shaved them down, trimmed and re-shaped them to perfection. Lannie was efficient, gentle, meticulous and was so pleasant and easy to talk to. But the best part- my nails look amazing. I'm pretty sure this is the best fill/gel mani I've ever gotten. I am happy to give Lannie my business and will be referring my friends and family to her. Thank you Lannie!
I just got my nails done by Lannie. Going in I knew I wanted some form of nail art, but had no idea what to get. She offered so many ideas and had all the cool nail trends going on now like chrome, foil, glass paper, the works! It was pretty easy to decide with all her suggestions and nail art she could do. I ended up going with all her suggestions and love my nails. It's been 3 days since she did my nails and I've been receiving compliments multiple times a day - no better validation to her work than that!! Plus - there was one design that didn't end up working well on my nail and she was more than happy to help fix and cover up to something I did like and work. It turned out perfect! Location: the store front is hard to spot since there is no large sign on the building. There is only a "D Spot Salon" written on the window. So keep an eye out, it's the building right at the corner. Also, there is parking in the back and plenty of street parking in the front!
I made an appointment about a month ago and got my first set of acrylic nails done today by Lannie. She's super nice, fun to talk to, and really patient with me because I kept asking her soo many questions (because I've never done this before). I see why so many people get their nails done because I am absolutely in love with my nails. Thank you so much Lannie! The store is really small so it's easy to miss and there's street parking but make sure to read the signs because when I went to the residential area to find parking, I was only allowed to park on the right side.

Lannie is super sweet and easy to talk to! She takes her time to perfect your nails. Most gentle nail tech I've ever been to. I got a fill for $15 and $10 for gel. I highly recommend her to all my friends! read more

I was referred by my friend. Lannie is amazing. She was so gentle and did a great job. I got acrylic nails, she was able to finish within an hour. Clean salon is a plus. She goes by appointments, so book fast! read more

Just had my nails done by Lannie. She's been doing my nails for many years. This is her new location close to the 168 supermarket at Las Tunas. She used to work at Eagle Nails at Arcadia. She's so nice and friendly. Offers me free beverage while I wait. She's only taking appointments at this location even though I prefer walk ins like her last location. Her prices are very inexpensive for the amount of time and work she does. Thanks for the beautiful nails. I'll definitely come back and refer my friends. read more

In Love with the nails Lannie has done for me, i have been to many nail salons but i think Nails By Lannie is the best so far!! Shes Very friendly and does an excellent job with my gel chameleon chrome nails as well as my regular gel nails the first time I visitied her place. The place is cozy it feels just like home. So i recommend that you guys should come her for decently price nails! read more

I recently moved back from the OC and have been looking for a quality nail salon to go to and I'm so glad I found Lannie!! She has a very fast response time, texting is the best way to set your appointment. I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure and both came out beautifully! It was my first time getting chrome nails and Lannie definitely wanted to make sure they were perfect. She spent a total of 1.5 hours working on me. Lannie really takes the time to get to know you while making sure your nails look amazing. It also didn't hurt that they had Stranger Things 2 playing on the TV. I messaged Lannie via yelp to inquire about an appointment for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. She responded quickly and was able to schedule me in. She was super friendly, excellent customer service. Offered me water as I got pampered. A perk she offered with the pedicure was a foot mask that felt great! As we chatted, we learned that we attended the same high school, go lions! Lannie has great attention to detail as she worked on my nails. Anytime I am visiting family, I know who can do my nails. She used clean and sterile tools, which I know is not always the case in other nail salons. The nail salon is small and cozy, clean and nice atmosphere. She has excellent prices that match excellent services! Tip her well Highly recommend her services! read more

What a gem! Wonderful and talented human being. I couldn't be happier with my nails. I didn't get all fancy but they look beautiful I get so many complements. Lannie is a great communicator so I didn't walk away wishing I had done or said something different. The fact that' it's by appointment only adds to the level of service she provides. Lannie has beem doing my nails for the pasrlt year. When she went to work for herself she went above and beyond to find me so she could keep doing my nails. I couldnt be happier! Went to her new shop today and she amazed me yet again. I told her to go ahead and do whatever she wanted. She did not dissapoint. I couls not have dreamed anything better then this. I decided to give this place a try after the great reviews and a much needed last-minute manicure. Lannie left my nails perfectly shaped for my stubby little fingers. It's by far, the best nail work I've ever gotten, and I highly recommend her to anyone that loves acrylics and is picky about shape! I couldn't have asked for better work. read more

I haven't had my nails done in ages. I'm not a girly girl person and I'm quite picky but my toenails were getting nasty so I asked some of my friends and they recommended Lannie. Really glad I came here. She took such care and was really thorough. I appreciated that she took the time to clean and paint my toes and I didn't feel rushed at all. She even cut the hair off my hairy foot knuckles! Lol! Because of Lannie, my pig trotters are presentable again. Also it was a great deal and cheap too since first service is 40% off. Love the service, she's great and is detailed when she's doing your nails. She's also funny, I think it's important to be able to have a good connection with the person whose doing your nails and I love that about her. & she likes it when you're honest about the nails or style or whatever it is. I love this place! I wanted summer nails one last time before the season ends and this is where I ended up. I couldn't decide on the color, a pretty pink or pale blue. Lannie helped me decide and suggested a daisy design to match the cornflower blue gel polish. It's a nice clean place and ample parking in the back. IT LIVES UP TO THE HYPE!!! There's a reason why this place has 5 stars and it's sooo worth it. I came in with not so cute acrylics previously done by another place that just couldn't get the coffin shape right. Lannie saved the day and made my nails look SO GOOD. It's not chunky at all, didn't hurt one bit, and after 2 weeks they still look so fresh. Plus I personally feel like she's the only one that can get the coffin shape just right. My nails have never looked so good! Lannie is super funny and personable and her place is so clean, all these 5 star reviews are REAL!!! My fill + fixing 2 broken nails ended up being $30 which really isn't bad at all. She also will advise you on the best way to save your $$$ and not try to jip you, which is so rare. I had a nail that was lifting and on the verge of being broken and I wanted to take off and redo 2 nails since the last place made them crooked, which most places would do in a heartbeat and charge me. But my girl Lannie, she was like no girl I can save them all. BLESS HER SOUL! She's the nail angel you never knew you needed!! Go to her you'll have NO REGRETS!!! read more

Okay I have to start this by saying I was so sad when I found out that Lannie was no longer at the place I got my nails done but I have to say I am so glad that I found out where she is because she is the most awesome person to do your nails they last she does a great job she's personable she's very friendly I would highly recommend her to do your nails and pedicures I'm giving her 5 stars and she has a customer for life read more

Lannie has done my nails for the greater part of the last 4 or 5 years. Her work is always great and it lasts sooo much better then it has with anybody else doing them! I will continue to recommend her to everyone that i know, more so now that she is at a much cleaner and friendlier salon. read more
