Great place to get your nails done as they last a long time. It is very sad though to watch minority workers be a verbally abused by self entitled customers. I witnessed a customer treat the employees with so much disrespect then turned around and wrote a review actually claiming she was the victim. Terrible how some people feel they could treat others with no shame at all. Those working tried so hard to please her but she just kept on being rude. She said she wasn't going to return and all I can hope is that she keeps her promise as I've never come across anyone with such disregard for anyone's basic human right to be treated with decency. After 19 days from getting my nails done I'm happy to say they have lasted. This is ombré dip and it's officially one of my favorites. I found this gem when nail salons were beginning to open indoors again. This salon is tucked away on a relatively quiet street in Arcadia with their own parking lot in the back. Lily took my temperature and sat me down at the nail station. She was patient with removing the dip powder and careful with my manicure. When applying the new set, she suggested a coffin shape and to keep the length on my nails. Throughout my 2 hour visit (mani then pedicure, separately per the regulations), I noticed they greeted all customers on the phone or in person with a smile. I could tell the regulars were coming back and for good reason. They never over promised availability, which I appreciate very much. Fast forward 6 months later, I am still going to Lily and her husband's business. They are kind and hardworking small business owners, and they have found a loyal customer in me! I'm going to be completely honest I was debating on leaving this review or not because they were quick to accommodate us and generally nice when talking to us directly. What really stuck out was the woman speaking viet to her coworkers thinking that we don't understand assuming bc our ethnicity. I know it happens often usually but it was just so blatantly about how me and my mom have larger veins on our feet lol. Also, during the foot massage part she hit the top of my feet, directly on the bone which I don't really understand why bc no musculature there and my foot hurts a bit today. Then at the end she asked if we can pay cash while we were deciding on that or using a credit card. She was helpful but of all the gentle speaking that occurred throughout, it didn't occur at the end. On top of that she made a comment when handing my card back like "see, see I'm giving you your card back okay? It's with you ok?". Which was super strange as well because I never implied she didn't? Maybe she had some bad run ins with white ppl in the past and I get that too... I hope that changes bc I did like how my nails turned out. I usually go to another nail salon in Arcadia but decided to try out this new place since it has good yelp reviews. I was greeted warmly upon walking in and offered water while I was choosing my color. The facility is very clean and my technician wore gloves too. They were accommodating in terms of appointments. I originally booked two 6:30 appointments but at the last minute my friend couldn't make it until 7. I changed the appointment without an issue and they even stayed past 8:15 just for her! Lina was my nail technician and I appreciated how detailed she was. She really took her time and made sure each nail was perfect! She was super sweet and even unnecessarily apologized for a short 15 second phone call from her kid that diverted her attention. Amazing customer service! However, I do have to mention two slight cons. The pictures on yelp for pricing are a bit misleading - it says $22 and up for an acrylic fill (I know it says and up). However, I was charged $25 + $15 for gel. They should just change that $22 to $25 and put the +$15 for gel right under the acrylic fill section instead of at the very bottom under prince/princess service. It is pricier than I'm used to as my total here was $40 compared to $28 at my other place for the same acrylic gel fill. The second con is that my nails are slightly bulkier than normal. I thought it was just me but my friend actually pointed it out before I said anything, but it's not that big of a deal personally. Nonetheless - I do feel that you receive better quality and service than cheaper places in Arcadia. The establishment is modern and they offer massages and facials as well. PS They have a check in system where you can get points every time you come for a discount later! read more

QQ Nails have pretty much all of your self care needs, I go for my usual "pedicure" gel basic color or when I am adventurous french tip, my go to team is Mimi and Kai, they work has a team as they both been my pedicurist/manicurist from Paramount and I followed them to Arcadia now, they have handle my hands/feets for a long (10+ years) and I'll continue to support them. My beautiful Mimi and all smiles Kai know what they need to do to get you looking right with your pedicure needs. They get busy, very efficient and you won't be disappointed they will tailor to your needs, just let know in advance before you start, oh and call them first because they get extremely busy. Please be kind and respectful to everyone, just be mindful at QQ nails the manicurist/pedicurist are people too. They do talk to their native language amoung themselves. If it bothers you it may not be a place for you.
