Took my daughter to her nails done with Marlenee and she did the exact design my daughter wanted so we are very happy with the results.

She fixed all my little hang nails and cleaned everything up, didn't file my nail bed, and my first manicure stayed on for a month, easy. I removed it because I was getting tired of the color but it didn't peel or lift at all. The appointments are long but it's because Tina takes VERY good care of your nails. Yes, the price is also higher but for the time and expertise you're getting... decades of experience and superb attention to detail.

It was my first time having a detailed consultation about my hands and feet before. The amount of detail and effort in customizing my first appointment of the services I got was amazing. I don't do manicures or pedicures often but will be planning my next appointment with Tina.

Tina did my pedicure and she was very meticulous in her cutting and filing. It had been several months and my feet looked like Myra's... IYKYK. She didn't flinch, she handled it well. I can tell that Patsy, the owner, truly wants to make sure you have a satisfactory visit. The vibe gives back-in-the-day nail shop feels. Not luxury but classic. I like it. The first time, I had an appointment and had to wait for 45 minutes before the nail tech I booked with can begin working on me. The second time, I was assured I wouldn't have to wait and would be seen right away. I still had to wait 20 minutes. This final time, I called and asked for an appointment time when the nail tech was actually open and available. I stressed the fact that I could not wait. They assured me she would be available. I show up at said time, and was asked to wait next to booth where she was working. I can see she was still working on a full set. The owner then told me she was just polishing, even though I could see she was not ready to polish yet. I was asked to wait. She then tried to get someone else to do my nails. But I am very picky, so I knew this would be a bad idea. I ended up leaving before I wasted another 30 minutes of my life. Overall, they do a decent job. But if you are in a time crunch and make appointments expecting to be seen on time, expect to be disappointed. This is not good place for people who value appointment times and being on time.

Thank you for your response…read more I do want to clarify a few points. My daughter is a child, and while she initially pointed to the color she wanted, approximately 20 minutes later the technician asked her to read the color number from the display. My daughter did not understand why she was being asked to do that, and this is where the confusion occurred, as the number she read did not correspond to the color she had originally selected. There also appeared to be a communication barrier during the appointment, which contributed to the misunderstanding. As her parent, I requested that the color be changed after seeing the finished result. Initially, the technician clearly stated that the color would not be changed. I also want to clarify that the technician did not offer to change the color until near the end of the service, and only after I pointed out a mistake that had been made during the appointment. Before I raised that issue, the technician was rude to my daughter, spoke to her in a raised voice, and her behavior toward a child was, in my opinion, completely unacceptable. That interaction was one of the main reasons I was so dissatisfied with our experience. Additionally, my concerns extend beyond the nail color. I noticed there were flies inside the salon during our visit, which raised concerns about cleanliness. The soap provided for washing our feet also appeared to be Softsoap hand soap rather than a product typically used during a pedicure service. These issues contributed to my overall impression of the salon. I understand that, as the owner, you were not present during our appointment. However, I would appreciate it if the facts of the incident were verified before suggesting that the technician immediately offered to change the color. That does not reflect what occurred during our visit. I appreciate your response, but my review accurately reflects my family's experience, and I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future customers, especially children, are treated with more patience and respect.

I found this place on Yelp, and I checked Instagram for photos of their works. Nice nails. I called…read moreahead for an appointment for Gel-X nails. Billy answered the phone and although I requested him, it was same day so he was busy. That's understandable and he suggested Kevin. I specifically asked if Kevin is good w/ Gel-X and he replied "Yes." I was about 8 mins late for my 4:30 appt, so I couldn't exactly be upset that Kevin wasn't ready for me. He finally got to me around 4:50pm. Billy placed the Gel-X supplies on an empty station, and that's when I suddenly became apprehensive. I've been getting my nails done for YEARS, so that was the first red flag for me. Why doesn't Kevin already have his own supplies at a permanent station? Subsequently, I abruptly changed my service to a gel manicure, because that's a basic level service and I was hopeful that it would work out. I was wrong. The polishing was bad. He was hurting my cuticles by being too aggressive and trying to cut off too much cuticles. A few times I said "ouch" and moved my hand. The shaping was bad, and my nice ssa still tipped him. SMH. Why? Because he still did a service, even if it was below my standards, I am just used to it. AND the three staff were so nice and accommodating. But, nice isn't enough. It hasn't even been 24 hours and the polish has started peeling on two nails. This is my second time at this place. The first visit for a pedicure wasn't the best as far as my experience during the service (the guy was rough and pushy), but ultimately my toes looked good, so I wanted to give them another try. Plus, they're so close to me home, but it didn't work out for me. Hopefully others will have a better experience.

I came here for the first time and the nails do not last. They pop off. They use cheap products.read more

Unfortunately, the experience was anything but relaxing. The nail tech repeatedly massaged the tops of my feet and legs extremely hard, even after I politely asked multiple times for her to be gentler and instead focus on the bottoms of my feet and my calves. I eventually explained to another employee that I have fibromyalgia, and when my pain is triggered it can affect my entire body. Although this was apparently relayed to the nail tech, she only adjusted her pressure briefly before returning to being rough again. To make matters worse, the pedicure water was cold. When I asked if hotter water could be added, the technician seemed irritated and reluctantly brought over water from an electric kettle. I was honestly surprised the foot tubs did not have proper hot water access built in. The massage chairs were outdated and barely functioning, which added to the disappointment. This was the Friday before Mother's Day, and I simply wanted to treat myself to a peaceful, calming pedicure. Instead, I left stressed, uncomfortable, and physically hurting. When I paid, the gentleman at the front asked about my experience and brought over a woman I believe was part of management. Her solution was to suggest that I "call ahead next time" and request someone less rough. That response felt dismissive considering I had already voiced my concerns multiple times during the service. Overall, I felt unheard, uncomfortable, and disappointed by both the service and the lack of care shown when concerns were raised. I will not be returning.
