I essentially paid another $75 for a simple pedicure with gel. I was caught off guard when I was at the front ready to pay. Unfortunately - I will not be coming back, not because the work isn't good but because the pressure to get gel as well as the lack of transparency turned me off.

Her prices are reasonable! I think the only downside is that you cannot come here and hangout with your friends because its just her doing the service, unless you have some time to kill. But that's not super important to me, I will be coming back here and strongly recommend visiting this salon. Karen is great and she has been at this location for many years, and her customers keep coming back. There is parking next to the salon so you don't have to bother finding street parking.

I called to inquire about appointments and the receptionist stated that the techs make their own appointments, but when I went last week, the tech mentioned that the front desk books their appointments. If my business isn't appreciated, then I can find a different nail salon who will appreciate a client who spends $100+ each time for my nails plus tip because this is disappointing and frustrating. Come the next day, it's all cool until I ask for a design, but the nail tech kept trying to change my idea and what I wanted. She kept trying to get me to cat eye on all my hands and then not and it was just a while back and forth thing. I've seen them do the type of nail designs I was asking for so idk why it was so complicated to just ask for what I wanted. At this point I was like ok I'll just trust the process. My nails were decently long enough and I wanted my nails square /round at the corners twice. My nails were filed down all the way and it looks like I bite my finger nails now. They did not look like this. I think what shocked me the most and mind you i KNOW the price range for the gel mani design that I asked for. This was $160 + I left her a tip on top of that. To be quite honest, I called up some other places i typically go to sent them a picture of my nails and asked for price and I was shocked they said about $110-120. One said 96. These are all reputable places without the "Russian manicure" statement. The nails are cute but the fact that my nails are filed all the way down, was rescheduled last minute when I was there 5min away, and didn't get the design that I wanted is unfair.. with what I got done and how my nails look I honestly could have done this at maybe some "lower end" spot. These were supposed to be my "baby nails" (newborn incoming) and Now I have to deal with growing my nails out and keeping this nail set until I am recovered from giving birth. I'm sure they provide great service to other people but not sure what happened with what I asked for. I would not come here again and spend this much again.

The tech I received was not clear on price and was very rough filing my nails. I expressed she was hurting me. She continued to cut and burn me with both the drill and hand file. At the end I ended up paying $50 bucks for this. She couldn't show me the price because I don't believe there's a set price. Plus it's all in cash. They have a atm in the shop, which you pay a fee to use both through your bank and the machine. So.. unfortunately, I won't be returning. Too much of a rip off and they are taking advantage of not having set prices , not communicating, adding extra fees and not taking anything but CASH! Save your money, fingers and toes!
