After my appointment, I went back and read the negative reviews, and honestly, those matched my experience much more closely. The first red flag was that I walked in to ask about pricing, then left to think about it, and one of the employees actually came out into the parking lot to convince me to come back. That immediately felt off. The second red flag was that I asked for almond-shaped acrylics, and the technician immediately started putting tips on without ever asking what length I wanted. He just assumed I wanted them short. By that point I was already committed, so I just went with it. As the service went on, I also noticed the salon wasn't as clean as I would expect. There were leftover decorations up and everything was just dirty and had stains on it, and debris around the work area, and it just didn't give me a great feeling. To be fair, the pedicure came out really nice. They opened what appeared to be a sealed pack of sanitized tools, which I appreciated, and I'm happy with how my toes turned out. The acrylic nails, though, were another story. The technician left noticeable gaps between the acrylic and my cuticles, as well as along the sides of my nails. They're also extremely thick. My boyfriend, who normally doesn't notice nails at all, actually asked if they were press-ons because they looked so bulky and fake. It's only been about a week, and because of the large gap near the cuticle, they already look like they've grown out for several weeks. I know sometimes a last-minute appointment is all you can get, and that's why I stayed. But if I could do it over again, I would have gone somewhere else. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this salon based on my experience.

My very first appointment she talked about nail health and I honestly learned so much. I've been coming back ever since. I have NEVER not been completely satisfied with my nails and the experience. I look forward to coming in and catching up with Rachel and leaving with nails I can't stop staring at. She is an artist through and through and I love showing off her work to everyone I know. I get basic gel (or at least I think it is) and my nails always last - I go about 4 weeks between appointments. I've also gotten by nails done by Grazziela, another artist at Vacation Nail Collective. She too did an amazing job! I've been meaning to book a pedicure with her and have been eyeing her books. Just need to commit! The location is also super cute. There's parking either on the street, the lot behind the building, or a parking structure about a block away (don't worry it's free). If you park in the parking garage there is a very cute cat that lives in the nearby houses and it will likely come out and greet you if you walk by (10/10 experience). If you're hungry or thirsty after your appointment there are SO many good cafes and restaurants near by. Since the artists here are so talented, their books fill up fast, so book quickly! Per your other reviews once you walk in your Bombarded with harassment to add on services and when you say no they continue to badger you. You're also the owner your picture matches you when I spoke to you. I was in tears as my skin was burned and eyebrow waxed off. The picture clearly shows where my micro blade line is and how she waxed off and went up high. All she had to do was trace the line. The picture clearly shows as day! You're a liar and a horrible businessman. You clearly do not care about your customers! I was crying and explain what happened and you didn't care. What this shows is that you have no integrity about your business. There is another nail salon in same parking lot that I suggest everyone take their business to. Again go back to customer service 101
